Great space for our extended family. Loved the bikes on site to use around town. During our stay, daytime temperatures were high, and the house a/c unit could not keep the house cool. The upstairs rooms were especially uncomfortable. Luckily, the temps dropped significantly in the evening, so the rooms were bearable for sleeping.

The house was perfect for a small adult birthday party! I loved that it was all one floor so no one felt isolated or alone ever. Super comfy beds & couch. Very clean & well stocked. Great house & the property management was wonderful & helped me make changes to the reservation when needed very promptly!

We really enjoyed the enclosed back deck and hot tub! We spent most of our time out there and it was very peaceful. The house is spacious, plenty of room for all of us. The only disappointment was the AC does not keep it cool and doesn’t get to the upstairs at all. It does cool down at night but some of the screens were broken. We also weren’t able to check in until closer to 6:30, the housekeeping staff was very nice and let us put our groceries in the fridge at 4:30 when we arrived to check in. It would have been nice to receive a phone call or text from the property manager letting us know check in was delayed so we could have waited to get groceries and planned our arrival differently.

Great Family Getaway
We had three families stay together at this house, a total of 13 people. It had plenty of room for everyone and was very warm and comfortable. We really enjoyed the backyard with the hot tub and multiple tables and chairs. It’s in a great location too, a quiet little loop with easy access to the Village and Golf Course.

Large rental
Great pandemic getaway at a good price. Nice hot tub and quiet neighborhood close to skiing. Big tiled entry with ample hooks and shoe rack was a real plus. Too often rentals lack a good drop zone for stuff. The Wi Fi struggled to handle 4 people working and studying at the same time, but we had space to spread out and a good time when the work was over.

We had ages 3-98 and a dog. This house was perfect for us. The fenced yard helped keep our dog safe. The kids had their own room and a playroom which they loved. Lots of bikes, table tennis and being close to the SHARC gave them plenty of activities.

We absolutely LOVED this property! It was so so fun for the child in our group and having a larger family, we spent the whole time talking about how fun it would be to bring the whole crew of adults and 6 kids- YES! There is enough room for that!
Such a fun and unique layout and cozy in every single room. Close to the shops and paths with minimal neighbors. Lots to utilize in the kitchen, everything organized, extra bathroom supplies, and kept very clean. The backyard was perfect for our pups and we didn't even get to the hot tub during our stay! I cannot express how much we loved staying here and will definitely be back to enjoy it for a longer stay :)

Good location but less than desirable accommodations
The location was good, lots of bikes, sharc passes and a fenced back yard. The hot tub was broken, the house has ants inside the bathrooms and mold. The first morning we woke up to our food being destroyed by mice. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for a week stay for 14 people is a bit light and there is a note stating that the renter is to purchase more if needed. All of the accommodations are extremely old. Tube TVs, old bedding, minimal towels and essentials. Listing states 2 hide a beds. But there is only one and the “mattress” is a coil with a 1 inch mattress pad over it. Would not recommend this rental especially for the price. Very disappointed. This place needs a major overhaul.

In Sunriver this was our 19th family reunion - the 6th year at this location. We started at this house because of fenced yard for a family member dog and the location to much of Sunriver happenings. We like the house because of size - bedrooms and bathrooms. As in any rental, there are so many positives along with a few negatives.

Great Deck and Location
Our large family(13 people) stayed here over Memorial weekend. The 3 bathrooms worked well. Back deck with fence worked well to keep kids/dog insight, and hot tub was nice in evenings. House is fairly old and needs some minor repairs but clean. Functional home overall and great value. Oh and garage had lots of bikes.

The main living room off the kitchen is much smaller than the pictures make it look, same with the kitchen. It was nice having two living rooms that gave more division of space. Unfortunately, although I called to confirm a day before arriving that the stove had been fixed after reading the other reviews and was assured that it had been, only two of the burners worked. The location was good and having the bikes in the garage was nice. I would probably look at other properties first before staying here again.

Huge House with Plenty of Room
The house is great with many rooms to accommodate large parties. We really enjoyed our stay and our kids really loved the play room. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Overall good
My biggest complaint is that the stove didn’t work. The burners would barely get warm so we had to improvise when it came to cooking. A light bulb was burnt out and the house was pretty dated. But other than that, the layout was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were all good size. The double living rooms and dining area were awesome. And the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog and my two year old. Overall it was a good stay.

We enjoyed much needed family time. I love how roomy this house was you could have privacy or have enough room to gather. The house needs some work though. The stove top was worthless. Sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn’t sometimes it would just stop working while cooking. It was horrible. Beds were not great at all. Overall the house and furnishings need an update. For the money I paid I expected a little more.

Unfortunately, this property was not very clean, we had to request towels due the lack of, and the internet was very spotty, which was a problem due to some family members had to work. Management was very helpful, and very professional.

Lots of space, but lacking everything else
There was definitely a lot of space to stretch out in at this property, but that was really the only plus to it. The house looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time - all of the shower doors had soap scum on them and the kitchen sink had bits of old food stuck to it.
There were multiple things broken, working improperly, and/or missing in the place, including:
- master shower didn't drain properly/was obviously clogged, and quickly filled with water/soap scum
- multiple pieces of baseboard were falling off the wall and had exposed nails
- a piece of the tile floor in the kitchen was broken and had simply been laid back in place without any kind of glue so it still moved around when walking by it
- the kitchen was missing necessary utensils, including a can opener and scissors
- there were no cleaning products in the house and only one roll of paper towels, so we ended up having to buy cleaner and more paper towels in order to keep the kitchen clean (we were there for over a week)
We had seen the previous reviews about the beds being too firm/uncomfortable but figured it couldn't have been that bad. The beds were extremely springy and so hard that we literally woke up sore in the mornings.
Brad (property manager) was extremely easy to work with and got back to me right away when I needed to extend our rental. I know if I had brought up these other issues earlier that he likely would have been able to help, but we were super busy during our time there that it was easier to do it ourselves.

Perfect pad for Grandparents and Grand-babies
Vacationing with (3) under 18 months is never easy but the layout of this house made things just a tad simpler. From the separate living rooms, fenced yard and open floor plan between the dinning room and kitchen it made time together and the moments when space was needed a breeze. To top it off the property manager was quick to respond and very accommodating!

We have been visiting Sunriver for over 30 years and have been in numerous rental homes. We booked Jackpine 8 on short notice, so we were just happy to find a house that fit for our extended family. Village Properties was great and was super helpful to get us in the house early! The house itself is pretty tired compared to the other houses we've stayed in. The bad: The mattresses were uncomfortable, the house is very dated and needs a good refreshing, the stovetop is HORRIBLE - you have to jiggle the elements to make them work, the internet is very slow, the fenced in area of the backyard is incredibly overgrown and, unfortunately, the air conditioner malfunctioned while we were there (that said, Village did a great job at getting it fixed as soon as we called.) The good: The hot tub was clean and functioned great, the table inside was a great size for a larger group AND there were plenty of chairs outside for outside eating (the fenced in area is a big plus!), the bedroom set up was perfect for our group, kitchen was VERY well stocked, the location is fantastic and easy to find, the two different living areas gave us a nice way to separate the kids from the adults and it was very clean overall. Bottom line, this is an average house that is well suited for larger groups that don't care about luxury. I'm not sure we will choose it again, but we still enjoyed our stay and had a great time!

Jackpine 8 is designed for families with children.Our extended family of grandparents,plus kids and grandkids, felt like we had enough room because there were multiple areas for visiting and the kitchen is open to the eating area, and the table fits at least 10. The enclosed patio accomodated our large family for all meals and impromptu talent shows and games. There was seating for 12 on the patio, plus 10 inside the kitchen from the patio. The kitchen is well equipped for many cooks. There is a second refrigerator in the garage. The grandkids loved the "movie theatre" room- the loft area above the second living area- but it does not have a/c or any windows- basically a finished attic accessed by a separate staircase. The decor is a little dated, but that relieved any anxiety if kids spilled something, or tracked some dirt from outside.The carpet is beige so dirt doesn't show. A/C worked great, except in the "twin beds" room. Plenty of hot water. There are 6 adult cruiser bikes and 5 kids bikes to use- that saves a lot on bike rentals. The property is on a loop of only 10 houses, so it is safe and private. Walking distance to a market. Comes with 10 SHARC passes, SHARC is a bike ride away. Kids loved the large hot tub, and the large driveway for games and the ping pong table in garage. Plenty of towels/ linens. Beds were comfortable. Management was super- I forgot items and they mailed them back to me cheerfully. We drove about 15 min. to start the river float, about 30 min for white water rafting. The trailhead to water fall is a 10 min. drive. Management cheerfully agreed to an early check in and late check out. We prepared all meals in house, with one restaurant visit in Bend, about 20 min away. Costco and Walmart are in Bend- pick up your groceries there. Other activities we liked were frisbee golf, free rock wall climbing by the SHARC,tennis privileges with SHARC passes. Property was clean and well-maintained. We hope to return next year.

This home fits our family needs in terms of bedrooms, bathrooms, ability to have a dog, fenced yard, AC and location near the lodge. The home was very clean and with the Covid that was important to us. There was a mixup on time to get entry to property that Brad (in the office) acknowledged but even with that the cleaning crew got us in at 3:30 to a very clean home. When I called the office on day 1 about the garbage and stove, it was Immediately taken care of. The new dishwasher was nice to have. The amount of kitchen needs like plates etc. is nice to have. Negatives The backyard is and has been very overgrown - definitely an eyesore. We had a few umbrellas outside but this year only one on the back deck. The upstairs bathroom continues to run. Last year they came by and fixed it while we were there. The chain keeps getting loose. There needs to be box fans for upstairs rooms. It gets pretty hot up there in July.

Although we settled into the home and an hour later got notice that Bachelor closed due to the coronavirus, we decided to stay and enjoy the roomy home. Plenty of space for everyone to have their privacy. Well-equipped home and kitchen made preparing food easy, and the table...we all could gather around and enjoy the company. Ping pong table and other toys in the garage, the private Jacuzzi (accessible from 3 slider doors) on the back deck, and the 2 family rooms allowed classic movies in one while watching snow skiing in the other. All in our party said the beds were comfortable and would like me to reserve it again next year.
