The location is central to the old town and very convenient for all services, bars, cafes restaurants etc. The property itself has two flights of stairs to access it but is superb, well appointed and comfortable. The property owner Alexia couldn't have more helpful and checked regularly to make sure everything was ok.
There was nothing to dislike about the property, it's location within the city or indeed Tours itself. Great property in an excellent location.

A lovely old historic quiet apartment within a gated courtyard very close to restaurant's and in easy reach of Train Station.
The Last name of the Apartment Owner was not provided by Booking.com therefore we did not know what door buzzer to press on the list of names to gain initial entry to the apartments to meet the owner for key transfer this added delays to entry (with the owner already having been waiting past the agreed meeting time).

Historic , stylish, location and nice landlady
There are two very nice bathrooms for shower, but only one toilet. It’s not enough for a house with three bedrooms.

Our Host Alexia was Wonderful. I had lots of questions and she was always very kind and responsive.
Her apartment was in a great location. Alexia really thought of everything when she was putting her apartment together. Wonderful functioning kitchen, large refrigerator, dishwasher and washer dryer combo.
Interior Design was beautiful. The Bedrooms were very comfortable and inviting. Big plus was two showers and a toilet room in between the two. Everything was very nice quality. Large and spacious. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Nothing. Exceeded all Excpectations

Beautiful historic property in a great location. Beautifully decorated
a toaster and kettle would have been great ( we couldn’t find them if there were there)

The apartment was absolutely beautiful and our hosts so very friendly. Such an authentic, historic atmosphere, we felt like aristocracy!
The washer/dryer didn't actually dry, but that's about it.

We loved everything about this property. Alexia was very easy to communicate with and met us when we arrived. She is a beautiful person and has created an incredibly warm and inviting place to stay. Fresh, clean high quality linen and towels and fully stock top quality kitchen appliances and everything we would need if we cooked a meal! We were totally overwhelmed with the beauty of the place. It was exactly as presented in the photos but even more stunning when we were standing in it and we felt very decadent for the entire week we were there. Aside from the history of this 15th century building, the totally "Frenchness" of the decor and the warmth of our welcome ……..there was the location ! How perfect to walk out your front door and be in the old town and Place de Plumerau within twenty steps and have many restaurants bars and shops at our doorstep. Vibrant and lively with university students, locals and tourists at all hours of the day but we were never bothered by any noise as our building is a solid "castle" and when the outside door is closed no noise gets in. We had a car so we could visit all the chateaux but parking was also easy as Alexia gave us her parking card at a very close car park which was excellent at 4euros a day. We cannot recommend Alexia’s property and Alexia, highly enough you will not be disappointed. I would say in my many years if booking.com accommodations this would be the best I have ever had.
Really did not like the fact I had to leave! I could have stayed there forever. My husband had a little trouble with the stairs up to the apartment but even the stairs were classified historically and showed wear over the past five centuries! Was amazing to think of the people who had used them

Spacious, cleverly refurbished and most comfortable apartment in the very heart of Tours

The renovation of this apartment was just outstanding and very artistically done. Our host, Alexia, did all the work, and the extra attention to detail was obvious. If you like high ceilings, a building “of character,” and lots of natural light, this is a place you’ll love. The beds and bedding were fantastic, and it was very quiet at night. The location could not be better, right in the center of the old city and within easy walking distance to all the major monuments. The neighborhood attracts a lot of students, is very lively, and the bars and restaurants are great fun. Reserved parking is available but we found on-street parking was pretty easy. Alexia, your host, is a special person. She has an infectious love for her city and region, and her recommended visits were all first-class. There is a very helpful visitors’ book that lays out the local restaurant scene in some detail. We would recommend this rental enthusiastically to all and intend to return ourselves.
Nothing.
