A well cared for and comfortable home, in Portland’s popular Munjoy Hill & Eastern Promenade area. Ideal for family & friends, a special occasion, relaxing getaway or team business trip. Portland's charm offers many markets, award winning restaurants & activities to choose from. Shop The Old Port & Downtown Portland which are within walking distance. Freeport Outlets, LL Bean and The Maine Mall are a short drive away. Enjoy Portland's downtown art district and the waterfront walking trail which is just 2 minutes away. It's just a short drive to the coast with beautiful beaches & scenic lighthouses. Also a block away is the Eastern Promenade with it's spectacular views of Portland Harbor and Casco Bay.
The apartment feels like home & maintains architectural features of the past. Both smaller and larger groups will love the spacious floor layout and we go above and beyond to provide you with all the kitchen and bathroom amenities you need.
It has an updated eat-in kitchen, large separate dining room, spacious living room with flat screen tv, 3 bedrooms & 2 full baths. Wifi is included. Some additional notes:
1) Off street parking is available upon request. There is free street parking in the neighborhood that may be challenging to find during the busier summer months.
2) Our units sleep 6 in beds and up to 8 with an air mattress that we supply.
3) Because of increasing costs, we have an additional per person charge or guests that exceed 5 people. We do this because of the rising costs of laundry, utilities and general wear and tear.

We had a lovely time at Nick's place. It’s a great space, well-maintained, clean, and great for a large group. However, we experienced multiple communication challenges that negatively impacted our stay.
After booking the listing changed and the original terms weren’t honored. It initially stated occupancy for up to 10 without extra fees, but after booking, we were asked to pay for guests over six (currently the booking states extra fees over 5). We originally booked for 6 and added 2 more (still within max occupancy of orig ad). We informed him of this change nearly a month in advance, using his recommended VRBO process. Yet, we didn’t hear from him about paying the additional fee until the morning of check-in. This last-minute communication felt frustrating and avoidable. When booking you expect the terms at the time of original payment to remain unchanged.
Additionally, despite giving weeks of notice and following up multiple times, it was very difficult to get approval for early check-in or late check-out. While we understand scheduling with cleaning crews can be challenging, the amount of follow-up required defeated the convenience of these requests. We do appreciate that he eventually accommodated a slightly adjusted timeline.
Lastly, the listing photos were outdated, as the twin bedroom now has a double bed, which the host mentioned over the phone, but still hasn’t updated in the listing.
Based on all of the positive reviews we expected more from his communication.

Not only was this rental clean and spacious, it was in such a great location - we really couldn't have asked for anything more! The waterfront is visible from the end of the street - boats and food trucks were out each day down by the water. Super convenient Rosemont Market just a block away for all the essentials. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay. Perfect spot just a block from the eastern prom park, Rosemont bakery, and restaurants. Nick was very accommodating and easy to work with!

Six of us stayed for our daughter's graduation. Nicely appointed property! We were able to walk to dinner, and it was a short drive to our other activities. Highly recommend!

We were in Portland for my daughter’s graduation. Had a very nice weekend trying different restaurants and enjoying lobster rolls.

We had a great time and this rental was very clean. The host was wonderful and easy to communicate with. My only tiny complaint is that the bedroom radiator was really loud (as they tend to be) and I am a light sleeper, so they kept me up. Not any fault of the rental, just is what it is. 15 minute walk to everything. Lovely, overall.

Overall we loved our weekend away in Portland and the VRBO worked out perfectly for us. We had 5 little boys with us but there was plenty of space. Could have used a little more silverware as we had a total of 9 people but it all worked out. Also we used the air mattress but it did seem to have a small leak. The place though was clean, spacious and the owner graciously helped us with a pack n play and high chair. He was super easy to communicate with and checked in to make sure we were doing well! Loved it and so happy we could enjoy the trip! Thank you!

Came for my 50th birthday with 3 girlfriends. Nick was very responsive when we contacted him about a toilet clog and came within a few hours while we were out for the day. The place is very charming, clean and quite roomy! Four of us were very comfy. We used street parking without any issue. If im being super critical, one of the toilets was definitely a little prone to clog so I recommend Nick check that out, as after he unclogged it, it was still flushing slowly so we just used the other bathroom. The other very tiny recommendation would be hooks or towel bars in the bathrooms or bedrooms to hang towels and some better pillows! All in all a wonderful stay and I would definitely go back again and stay at Nick’s place!!

Lovely quiet neighborhood, 2 blocks from a lovely park on the waterfront! Great restaurants nearby and excellent gourmet market. Easy walk to Old Town. Rental unit has everything you need!

I highly recommend this property. The location is really terrific. Very convenient to so many things! Things such as a nice sandy beach, kayak and bike rentals, very fine dining (we love the Front Room!), tennis and pickleball, boat rentals and excursions, LL Bean and so many more things. The owner is awesome and exceptionally responsive. My whole family loved the experience.

The location of this property is amazing! You are within walking distance to many little shops and a fabulous park.
Nick was also wonderful to work with. He was attentive to any needs we had throughout the stay and checked in via text almost daily.
Although one off street parking spot is available, it is first come first served unless you pay extra to reserve it. We did not find this a problem though as street parking within a block was always available.
A family with young children stayed in the unit above us and at times could be heard. However, we did not mind as we also had a little one with us who also enjoys running around.
Although we did not need them the unit came with a pack and play and high chair/booster seat for eating.
We found the beds to be a bit uncomfortable, the pillows too thin, and the couch swallowed us whole.
All in all it was a good rental and the location is amazing! Nick was also wonderful to work with and very helpful!

We had a wonderful stay at Nick's place. It was comfortable and spacious for all 7 of us in the group. Very clean! It's in a nice quiet neighborhood and very close to the water (which is great for morning walks). Given our group doesn't mind walking, all the shops and restaurants that were wanted to go to were within walking distance (e.g., about 20 mins walk to Fore Street restaurant). Thank you for hosting us in Maine :)

We had a wonderful stay in Portland visiting family who live right around the corner. We ended up eating lunch out and cooking in for dinner so it was nice having such a well equipped kitchen! The house is comfortable and plenty roomy for the 6 of us!

I'm a fan of this property, and Nick (host) was helpful when I had questions. This was a perfect spot for us for our multi-day trip to Portland. Clean and well kept. Good layout for a family. Well stocked. Nice bathrooms (2 of them!). Nice neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.

The location and layout of this spacious 3-bedroom is ideal for an extended stay. We felt like we were locals, walking the Eastern Promenade (only two blocks away) each morning, and also walking to many well-known restaurants and the Old Port in the evening. Our host Nick was very attentive and helpful. We would stay here again.

Great Location
We greatly enjoyed our stay in Portland and this place was in a great location to both walk or UBER everywhere we wanted to get to. It was spacious and it was very nice to have 2 full bathrooms. We were a group of 6 adults and I will say the twin/twin trundle were not the most comfortable/loudly creaked, but the other 4 adults slept comfortably. This is the first floor space of what appeared to be a 3 story home. The back garden was nice, but others from other levels of the home were out their often, so we didn’t really spend much time out there. I would certainly recommend this space for others, but perhaps it would be better suited for 4 adults and 2 children. There also appeared to be a queen size air mattress and pack and play available for use but we’re not needed by our group.

This unit is in a great location, walking distance from plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars. It is also a very short walk to the ocean with great walking trails around the ocean. It was a very quiet neighborhood and we never heard anyone in the above units.

Close to the waterfront, walking trails, highway, downtown, and more. If you don't want to drive all over Portland and arent afraid of a 10-15 minute walk then you should strongly consider this place.

We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful old Victorian home in a great neighborhood so close to everything. Loved we could easily walk to amazing restaurants, breweries & shopping at Old Port and loved walking the Promenade just 2 blocks away. Great breakfast & dinner restaurants close by too.Working with Nick could not have been more pleasant. His home fit all our needs and expectations. We definitely want to come back. Sad to leave!
We absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful old Victorian home in a great neighborhood so close to everything. Loved we could easily walk to amazing restaurants, breweries & shopping at Old Port and loved walking the Promenade just 2 blocks away. Great breakfast & dinner restaurants close by too.
Working with Nick could not have been more pleasant. His home fit all our needs and expectations.

Older Home in Great Neighborhood
Cute place, pictures in and outside are a little deceiving. Outside patio was not as nice as we had hoped for. Our second time using this kind of rental, and pictures tend to embellish a rental. Kitchen was great, and a second bathroom is definitely a plus!! Most places in the Portland area do not have 2 bathrooms. That was a great bonus...and, the parking was a great bonus!!
