This unit provides guests with a spectacular and one-of-a-kind view of the beach on a gorgeous rooftop deck furnished with artificial turf, several lounge seats, and of course a hot tub for you and your party to relax in. Upon walking in the property, visitors are met with a quaint kitchenette and a secondary dining and living space. The first floor is home to 2 bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed. There is no need to push or schedule for a bathroom because there are 2 bathrooms, one for each bedroom. Two more bedrooms with king size beds resides on the second level along with 2 additional bathrooms. Travel up to the top level, and you are met with a gorgeous living room that opens up to a fantastic view of the ocean through panoramic doors. There is also a full-size kitchen and dining space along with additional bedrooms and bathrooms.

This is the second Xmas trip for our family staying at the property. We first stayed at the property during Xmas 2021. The reason why we chose to stay at the second time is because we really enjoyed our stay in 2021.
Overall the stay was OK. The property is in a good neighborhood within walking distance to Oceanside downtown and Carlsbad.
However, we noticed that there has been quite a bit of wear and tear inside the property since our last stay. In particular:
(a) There is almost no water pressure for the shower in the third floor bedroom. And of the little water there was, it took between 5-10minutes to get hot water
(b) The Bosch diswasher is very high end but was not maintained properly. When we did our first dishwashing, the dishes did not come out very clean. It turns out the water filter in the dishwasher was completely clogged, Looks like the filter has not been taken out for cleaning as part of maintenance for a long time
(c) The inside of the Weber grill was extremely dirty and smelly with lots of charred food remaining. The grill utensils were also very dirty - they have not been washed after multiple uses. As a result, we were not able to do the grilling that we had planned to do
We strongly recommend that these issues be looked at and taken care off for the next guests.

We had a three night stay over Thanksgiving. We got a text the first morning that we were too loud and needed to be aware of the noise we were making. We thought one of the neighbors had complained so the second day, Thanksgiving, we were afraid to let the baby cry and were constantly telling each other to shush when we laughed and were quieting each other outside. It dampened our enthusiasm for watching sports and playing family games. And then the next day, we got the message again! It turned out that there was some noise monitor in the house and no person had actually complained. That really upset us. We were offered a two hour extension on our stay when this was all discovered but we had flights to make. There was no monetary compensation which we thought we deserved as we were led to believe we were inconsiderate of our neighbors but had tried, in good faith, to be good users of the property. The listing advertises that it sleeps 12-14, there were 14 chairs around a huge table, so whatever noise we registered should have been expected.
We also had trouble with the garage keypad but it was easy to park on the street.

Beautiful & very spacious!
Plenty of room for everyone.
A few concerns to consider.
The garage parking is very tight & although it said parking for 2 cars..... that includes the other rental unit. They use the same code! First come first serve parking for 14 people & unit #1.
2. Garage, gat & house codes really should be typed out for ALL codes. The 4 pt font on the bottom of a picture doesnt work so well for 60+ year olds trying to figure it all out for the 1st time (in pouring down rain, in the dark, & after 16+ hours of travel.
3. The sign for "elevator is NOT for guest use" is posted at about 10' where you cant see it until AFTER trying to use it, which sets off an alarm. Might want to lower the sign.
4- Its great to light a path for the corriders & steps, you save zero energy because the lights are bright, in the ceiling & ALWAYS coming on.
5.Timers on kitchen lights are rediculous. Trying to cook or enjoy family in the kitchen while cooking with lights turning off every hour is extremely annoying! The dining room table has very low light & zero reading lamps for anyone who just wants to enjoy a good book inside.
6- most frustration is the fact that the GPS guides you to the front which takes you to a 15' concrete wall.... but the garage is in the back of the house
which has the SAME street name!

Can’t say enough about this house! The location was perfect! The space was amazing! Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy comfortably! Will stay here again! We thought parking was going to be an issue but there is plenty of parking on closer side streets. The view was great for evening sunsets! Coffee shop was walking distance and was great!

The family enjoyed our stay at this nice beach house! The beach house is set up with 3 levels and the rooftop which makes it feel like the guests had their own space. Most of the guests had their own bathroom which was a plus. The house came well stocked. The communication was very good with the property management company. They were very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed walking to Buccaneers for coffee and breakfast. There is very little beach area near the house. We ended up driving 10 minutes to Strand and Harbor Beach. The house does not offer any beach amenities like beach chairs or an umbrella. The garage is limited to one vehicle. You can park additional vehicles down below and walk up the stairs.
Overall, we had a great experience, building lasting memories.

We loved our stay here. We came for a girls weekend and it was spectacular. The house has 5 bedrooms all with bathrooms attached, it’s fantastic for groups who want some privacy. There are kitchens on the bottom and third level and a spa on the rooftop. It is absolutely perfect for large groups! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, although there were no scissors so that was a bit difficult.
My only small hiccup is that the check-in was pretty late, at 4:00pm. If we wanted to move it 2 hours to 2:00pm it was $300, seems a bit overpriced for only 2 hours. Our check-out time was 10:00am which would feel normal if we were able to check in at a bit earlier. Not looking for a 12:00pm check-in, but a 2:00 feels more standard.
Outside of that, the place was wonderful and we are super happy and grateful for the best experience!

I have stayed at a few places in the area as I visit often, but this one takes the cake! Huge space with lots of room. We had a large group and we’re super comfortable. Check in process was a breeze as well. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful house with great ocean views
The property was very well taken care of and stocked well with all the kitchen essentials. There was so much room for everyone to have their own room+bathroom and places to escape to have some quiet time alone if desired. We walked to a couple of restaurants which was convenient and being just a block away from the beach was perfect. Thanks for the great vacation home!

Wonderful house, INCREDIBLE view, perfect location
We had the best time during our stay here. The house is amazing, and exactly as pictured. The rooms are gorgeous and the e layout is perfect for a large group. The VIEW. mind blowing. Location is great too, right in between Carlsbad and Oceanside- great bike rental spot right around the corner at SoCal Bikes. The only minor issue we had was contacting the property management company as we were checking in outside of their business hours and people from another unit were parked in front of our garage. Other than that, spectacular stay.

Family Xmas Getaway
The house is very nice. The beds are very comfortable and the neighborhood is great. The location is right across from the beach and a very short distance to many nice restaurants and shops. It's also very close to Carlsbad, which is very quaint with a lot of great eateries.
We did have a problem with the elevator but it was resolved quickly. It is an extra 100.00 to use the elevator. It would be nice to know this up front. We also had a problem with one of the burners on the stove which they tried to fix but could not so we made do with lighting it manually.
The refrigerator didn't seem to keep things cold. They were kept cool but not cold.
The outdoor seating on the roof was to be our hang out but unfortunately the cushions were left out in the rain with no covers so they were soaking wet and we were unable to dry them out. It would have nice if the covers were put on prior to our stay.
Just to note as well, if you are bringing children under 5 years old, the stairs are very steep so it can be very dangerous for little ones. A removable toddler gate would be a great addition.
Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the accommodations were very nice.

It was okay
Starting at check in finding out the garage door would not be able to close made it so we could not secure our vehicles for the entire stay! The main refrigerator was so warm it spoiled tons of food! Even when the repair guy checked he said it was no where near the correct temp! Then at the end after confirmation we f a late check out the housekeeping team showed up 30 minutes before the normal check out and told us we needed to vacate. Then proceeded to tell me I needed to call the rental company and figure it out! Completely unacceptable! The communication between housekeeping and the management did not happen and I was left to deal with the rude housekeeping team! The stay overall was decent! For 700 plus dollars a night there should have been fully functioning appliances! We should have been able to secure our vehicles per the website and agreement!

We stayed in this house with a few families. Every room had its own bathroom with shower which was so convenient! The rooftop deck is amazing. The house was very clean when we arrived and they require no major cleaning at checkout. With that we were able to enjoy the last day rather that frantically cleaning and packing. However the beach closest to the house is not your typical sit and relax beach. Very rocky and not much sand to lounge and play in. We had to drive to a different beach. There was I think 1 extra blanket laying around. So you will probably want to bring your own. Other than that I would 100% recommend this house. We will probably stay at it again in the future!

Amazing Location!
We were looking for something quiet and with an ocean view. This place delivered on those needs. Some challenges with check-in, and HVAC equipment, but the management company was quick to respond and solve. Would definitely stay again.

This place has holes in the walls, chipped paint, ants, stained and ripped furniture, and the cleaning was very base level. But the biggest red flag to me is the customer service level. The one thing that can definitely ruin an experience is customer service. When your business model is get the money and screw the customer's experience, then you have already lost. One customer can equal 10 and if you take your customer service seriously instead of making excuses, then you will continue to have a winning business. What was supposed to be the most memorable trip for my new wife and I turned out to be our worst experience we've had thus far. If you enjoy a comfortable environment, don't stay here. It was very humid and gross in the house the entire time because they don't want you turning the AC down to a comfortable level. And by the way, they only show the best reviews (if they're even real) on the website. You see different reviews once you pay.

Spacious home with breathtaking views
I’d definitely rent this home again! The entire process was very easy from booking through checkout. The property management team was super responsive and pleasant. Everything was as advertised. There is limited beach access right by the home, but plenty within a mile. Lots of surfing action and dolphins in the area.

Great house for large groups!
This property was outstanding. There are six bedroom with either king or queen beds, plus at least two sofa beds between the two living room spaces. There are six bathrooms with showers and an additional half bath on the main living floor. Great views and patios looking out over the ocean. Plenty of space for everyone to find their own space when needed. If we had any improvements, they would be that it would be nice if there was a broom and I wish there had been better instructions for the hot tub because the control labels had become sun-faded and we had to just hit buttons until it turned off or on.

Immaculate property with stunning views
This is a perfect location for a family reunion. On bottom floor, 2 king size bedrooms and a kitchenette with a fridge , on 2nd bedroom 2 king size bedrooms, 3rd floor 1 king size bedroom and one queen size room (that’s separated by a sliding partition) and is also where the Main kitchen is and indoor/outdoor living. There’s so much room to spread out. All the complaints I heard about train I honestly only noticed a couple of times while on the trip. I seriously didn’t leave the house. There’s a garage that fits two cars, but plenty of parking on Pacific that requires no permit. Communication was amazing.
We plan to return here annually for our family reunion.

***ATTENTION TO ALL FAMILIES!***
1. FROM our first 10 minutes in the house we had a door collapse on us... but as if the door falling off the hendge was not enough...
Listen to this!!!
2) This company sent AC repair people to our our rental home the first day to tell us we could not have both the sliding doors open and the AC on (WHICH IS THE WAY THE HOUSE WAS WHEN WE WALKED IN! ) We told them we literally just arrived.
THEY SHUT OFF THE AIR COMPLETELY!!! WE COULD NOT Access THE AC AT ALL! COMPLETELY OFF FROM US! After calling twice about the air they said use the remotes which 3 of the AC never turned
OUR ENTIRE TRIP WAS WITH NO AC!!!
3. With no AC on the main floor it became so steaming hot one of my 7 year old woke up in sweats EVERY NIGHT, we had to fetch all around for WORKING fans which we found out very quickly that not all fans worked.
NOT HAVING AN AC WAS A NIGHTMARE AT NIGHT!!! THIS should NEVER HAPPEN!
IT WAS HELL FROM THE 1ST DAY...
4. To add to our "VACATION" we found out the freezer was broken after we stocked it and realized too late and all the ice-cream and frozen foods were wasted.
There was another refrigerator however its LOCATED THE 1ST BOTTOM FLOOR WHICH WAS THE BASEMENT FLOOR NOT IN THE LIVING SPACE AND 2 FLOORS DOWN!

THE FLOOR WAS COMPLETE FILTHY!!! HAD NOT BEEN MOPPED AT ALL IN WHAT LOOKS LIKE MONTHS!!!
6. ANTS!!! EVERYWHERE! THE ENTIRE PLACE WAS DISGUSTING! WE were forced to buy ANT TRAPS, bug spray just to stay there.
7. LAST BUT NOT LEAST THEY GAVE OUT OUR PRIVATE CODE TO ENTER OUR GARAGE SO AFTER A VERY LONG DAY, WE GOT BACK AT 11PM TO FIND SOMEONE PARKED IN OUR GARAGE AND ALSO IN FRONT OF THE DOOR OF THE GARAGE!!! BLOCKING THE GARAGE!!!
THIS ALL SOUNDS LIKE A NIGHTMARE RIGHT! IT WAS THE WORST VACATION WE EVER HAD! THE Extortionary amount of money spent on this rental is crazy if it was perfect but down right a scam with the perfectly angled pictures and hiding the real rundown worse than MOTEL 6 and the Motel 6 is actually better, CLEANER CHOICE THAN STAYING WITH THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY!
FAMILIES! PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN THIS PLACE. OR if you see this management company Scam, Scam Scam... YOU CAN HAVE THE SAME VIEWS IN A BETTER HOUSE WITH AN AC, CLEANER FLOORS, NO ANTS, BETTER PRIVACY AND NO DOORS FALLING ON YOUR CHILD!

Absolutely amazing!
The location and house were perfect. My family really enjoyed staying here - so much that we didn't even leave the house. It's a wonderful size for big family gatherings, everyone had room to do their own thing and then get together in the evenings. The kitchen was large, well stocked, and open for everyone to cook and eat together. All of the rooms were very clean and comfortable. All of the rooms had an ensuite bathroom (except for 1 room in the hall, but the bathroom was just a few steps away). The rooftop patio had a gorgeous view... we would have spent more time up there if it wasn't sprinkling. Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing stay that is well worth the price. We miss the beach house already!

Beautiful Views
The house is much bigger than the pictures! Lots of stairs so get ready for a nice mini leg workout. There's actually a separate unit in the back that's attached to the main house but we didn't hear the guests at all.

Beautiful Home
This property was larger than it looked in the photos and the layout allowed everyone to have their own private space. Although it doesn’t provide direct access to the water, the views were amazing and it was just a short walk across the street. We loved the modern design and furnishings. We had a great time here!
