It is the perfect home base for exploring Costa Rica as it is the closest beach resort to the capital city of San Jose and its international airport. Jaco nests between the Pacific Ocean and the tropical rain forests of the central Pacific coast.

The entire condo property is gorgeous. Pool area makes you feel like you are at a five star resort. Safe and gated development. Lots of families. Great location, walking distance to Jaco beach where we watched the sunset. Condo unit was spacious and just as pictured. Air conditioning worked great. I would definitely stay here again. The condo was exactly as we hoped it would be… the pictures don’t lie. This place was roomy, comfortable and has great amenities. We loved the full size kitchen and laundry. Also the work area was a nice bonus. The pool area was nice also, however the temperature of the pool was way to warm. Overall we loved it!!

Prior to this trip, we called the hostess and she confirmed to us that the internet worked reliably for her, her husband, and daughter – stressing it was capable of supporting simultaneous video calls and boasting about download speeds that enabled her family to work without hiccups. Immediately upon arrival, we noticed immediate drawbacks in the quality of our internet compared to what was promised and advertised. Websites and files took minutes to load. Both of us couldn’t maintain a video call. Connection in general was very unreliable and we frequently had to reset the router in vain hopes that finally, we would solve the unsolvable. We were forced to use our Mobile Hotspots throughout the entirety of the stay. Internet was a DAILY issue and we took frequent screenshots of the poor speed that have been shared with Vrbo. We asked our hostess to schedule maintenance to look at the problem. It then took maintenance 5 days to show up (from Monday to Saturday!) The staff agreed that the wifi was slow and causing issues for us. This was another clear signal that the hostess was disingenuous in telling us her wifi was strong and reliable. For the remainder of our stay, she insisted she had spent extra money to ramp up our internet speed. However, it was obvious nothing had changed. Every time the techs came thereafter (twice more), they would agree with our observations that the internet was still suffering. On the last visit, the router turned red in front of them indicating internet was lost. The technicians laughed while we cried internally. To summarize, the hostess could not solve our problem. In addition to the gross unprofessionalism she displayed, she rapidly began to suggest and, ultimately, accused us of lying to achieve a free stay. Despite mountains of evidence to support our claims and the testimony of the maintenance staff themselves, she continued to maintain that we fabricated everything. Whatever you do, do not come here expecting reliable wifi and if you run into any issues during your stay, do not expect a reasonable host.

We rented this condo for the month of February 2018 and were not disappointed, it was our first trip to Jaco and Costa Rica. The condo is nicely furnished, has lots of linens and beach towels, was very clean, has lush tropical gardens and lovely pool that is very well kept. The property is located at the quieter end of the town and is with in walking distance of the beach and the town of Jaco with many grocery stores and restaurants. The condo complex also has good security, with friendly guards who check the property and buildings regularly. We enjoyed our stay at Costa Linda, Jaco and the surrounding area. We would recommend this condo to friends.

The apartment is really good, we liked the condo very much: clean, green, with a great swimming pool. It is very close to the prefect not crowdy beach. There is a supermarket nearby, but it is really small, so you have to go to the center of the town in a car or taxi. There is one very good but rather slow restaurant on the beach, the others are also in the center of Jaco. The only disappointment is the Internet connection wich was not working and the manager didn't want to help. Hope it is temporary problem.

We really enjoyed our two-day mini vacation at Elena's Costa Linda condo. I am very familiar with Jaco and have stayed in several places there, but this was our first time in the Costa Linda. It is a lovely condominium complex, ideally located within walking distance to the beach and just far enough down the street from the central commercial district to be quiet and safe. Everything in the condo was exactly as described in the HomeAway listing. Elena, the owner, is very responsive and answered all my questions in advance. She does not live on site but has a property manager, Julieta, who handles all the details of your arrival, departure and anything that you may need during your stay. She, too, is very communicative, and we received all of her contact info (phone numbers, direct email) prior to our arrival. In fact, I called her before arrival to make sure I knew where and how to obtain entrance to the condo. Your deposit will be collected in full upfront, but Elena processed our refund through HomeAway within the first couple of days after we checked out. We had no problems whatsoever with payment or getting our deposit refunded promptly. We would definitely stay there again. It's a good value and a great place to say. Ideal for families or couples.

My family and I stayed at this condo over Xmas and New Year and we were extremely impressed. First let me say that the pictures do not do this apartment justice, you will be excited and joyfully surprised when you walk in the front door. Elena, you did great job furnishing and decorating the place so tastefully, and the managing company maintained the property spotless. It definitely feels like home. The apartment is extremely family friendly, there are books, magazines, satellite television, Wi-Fi etc. allowing you to enjoy your family stay and unwind. The pool was really nice and is much bigger than we expected and our son had a blast in it. The neighbourhood was very relaxing and peaceful, there were no noisy neighbours or traffic, it was quiet and calm during our entire stay. We did a number of BBQs in the dedicated place in the yard. The condo’s location is particularly great. The beach is beautiful and is just few hundred meters away from the compound. Jaco is centrally positioned that allowed us to go on many unforgettable trips to national parks and places of entertainment. There was pretty vibrant life in the town with dozens of restaurants and bars in a walking distance. The condo is certainly a treasure and we didn't want to leave it. My family has already talked about coming back in the near future.
