About this house rental

Situated on the white sand beach of Gulf Shores, Alabama, this beachfront home has everything! Not only is the ocean a few steps from the door, but there is a private pool on the spacious deck! Inside the house there is room to stretch. Downstairs are two living areas, a double kitchen (2 of everything) with a large pantry and ice maker, 2 large dining tables seating 10 each, and additional seating at the large island bar. Also, on the main floor are 2 bedrooms with king beds and en suite baths. Completing the main floor are a half bath, a laundry, and a wet bar (with an additional ice maker). There are plenty of large windows in the living area which offer beach views while never leaving the house!

On the second floor, you will enter another generously proportioned sitting area with a half bath. You will find a second laundry and the 6 remaining bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms provide a king sized bed. The fourth bedroom is a king sized bed with an additional twin bed. The 5th bedroom is HANDICAP accessible with two queen beds and a handicap en suite bathroom. The 6th bedroom contains 2 bunk beds and a twin sized window bed, great for kids! All bedrooms include en suite private baths.

The elevator is wonderful convenience in getting luggage and groceries in and out! The house is fully handicapped accessible as well.

Outside, the deck has plenty of room for a crowd. An oversized grill is situated on the end of a spacious deck. Half of the deck is uncovered for the sun bathers and the other half is covered for those who enjoy the beach, but don't like to relax in the sun. Also on the deck is the private pool. Leading from the deck to the beach is a dune overwalk with outdoor shower.

Other amenities include internet, TVs in every room, cable, covered parking for 6 cars with additional parking in the drive, 2 icemakers, wet bar, and a large gas grill. Linens, dishes, pots and pans are all included. Guests only need to bring personal items and beach towels.

This home is an Ideal spot for family reunions, several friends with their families, corporate retreats, small weddings.

We just stayed at this beautiful home. We were celebrating my parents 55th wedding anniversary with16 of us and this house had more than enough room for all of us. The private pool was amazing. The kids really enjoyed that. The location of the house was great. Just a short drive to restaurants and walking distance to an ice cream shop! This was our first time to this area and loved it.

This beautiful home could not have been a better fit for or family of 19 - age 22 month to 71 years. There was plenty of room for everyone and the double kitchen was remarkably well stocked - far better than any other of the many VRBO properties we have used in the past. The home is very handicap friendly with an elevator, step in showers sloping boardwalk to the beach (direrct access to the beautiful beach) and even ramp access from the deck to the pool. Everyone remarked how it was the best house of our neighbors because although the pool may be a little smaller it is on the same level as the deck and the others are a level down requiring one to climb up and down stairs for access. This was our first trip to Gulf Shores and hope to return to this home again in the future! One thing I would note is that the home lacks much exterior lighting on the street side so is hard to find at night. The other thing I would note is that the king room with a twin - the twin is actually a built in, not sure it's full size but a 10 year old could sleep comfortably.

This house was fabulous! It accommodated all 22 of our family and it was very clean. Having a bathroom in each bedroom was a treat. There was plenty of living space. The pool was enjoyed by all and being right on the beach gave us a great view. I would rent this property again and urge others to do so. It definitely deserves a 5 star rating.

Everything was wonderful! We had 4 couples with 13 kids ranging from 7 to 18, 21 total. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep, hangout, and eat. We cooked multiple meals and double kitchen/seating was a lifesaver. You could walk to multiple places. Great location! We'll be back!

We loved our stay at this house. The open living room/kitchen area was perfect for large groups. The 2 long dining tables easily accomodated everyone. The porch swing was a favorite among everyone. The elevator was a life saver for those trips to the grocery store. The stay was not without a few problems however. The panel that controls the pool screen was broken so we couldn't turn the heater on. The sink on the right side was clogged and leaked if you ran the water. One dishwasher didn’t work. The gate on the boardwalk to the beach was broken with a nail sticking out and one of the kids cut themself on it. Other than those few things, it was a great place to stay and i would still recommend it.

The house and location are very nice. We did have a problem with check-in. When we arrived, the house had not been cleaned. It was pretty late at night till we were able to use the house. That was pretty rough after traveling all day and having a young child with us who needed to go to bed, especially with how much you are paying.

We have stayed at this property multiple times and have loved it each time! The house is set up perfectly for all ages. The kitchen area is always a gathering spot, and the oversized swing on the deck is a favorite hang out, especially for the teens! The private boardwalk makes access to the beach easy for all ages and abilities. We hope to continue our visits in the future. The only reason we didn't give a full 5 star rating is because the housekeeping company did not leave the property until after 6 pm the day of check-in (we were waiting 2 hours), and we had linens that had visible dirt/stains on them. We re-washed those items ourselves as needed.

The property is better than pictured. As another person stated, you will need extra paper products. The beach right in front is beautiful. From the boardwalk to the small pool, it was everything we wanted. The elevator is excellent for hauling luggage and people. The owner checked on us and was quick to respond when needed. You can even walk to a couple of restaurants up the road. We cannot think of anything negative! Great for large families. The kids loved the pool. We also used Ibeach service for chairs and umbrella rentals and had a great experience parasailing with Ike's.

I want to start off saying this property is AMAZING! Perfect for families! Lots of room, privacy, and a beautiful view! We had one small problem and the owners were so helpful and quick to help us. Make sure you pick up some extra paper products (napkins, toilet paper, paper towels). The washer and drier on each floor is great for cleaning up after a day spent in the sand! We had an age range from 80-1.5 years old and everyone was sad to leave. 5stars!

Main floor AC didn't work for 48 hrs, but owners were very responsive and AC tech worked on it each day, fixing it on the second day. Box fan in stairwell moved cool air down to main floor so it was comfortable 90% of the time. Overall the house and pool were excellent. Disappointed in number of seaweed and jellyfish in the ocean and on the beach, seamed to be more than last year. One person in our party got stung around midsection that kind of put a damper on ocean swimming. But we still did to enjoy the very warm water!

Our family of kids and grandkids, ages 5-72, enjoyed the house very much. The floor plan is very conducive to family activities, and the 2 large tables provided a great space for all of us to eat together. The kitchen (though very disorganized!) was exceptionally well stocked, with all the necessary items to cook meals. Everyone loved having their own bathroom which was a real luxury. The outdoor space was also very nice and the view was amazing. Thanks for a great vacation!

The property is beautiful and welcoming. The kitchen is amazing and more than accommodated my group of 17. Each bedroom has an ensuite, making pool and beach clean up easy. The saltwater pool is lovely and the covered deck allows everyone a chance to enjoy the outdoor space, no matter the time of day. The board walk as perfect and easy to navigate. I plan to rent this house again in the future.

We had 11 family members travel from across the country for 5 days of family fun in Gulf Shores, and this house was the perfect spot. It was clean and well-appointed—better than the pictures. Bathroom for every bedroom was key. Giant kitchen made cooking easy, and we even had room for games and puzzles. Beautiful beach right out the back door and on-deck pool was perfect for watching kiddos swim. Great home for a great vacation! Highly recommend!

All I can say is this property is soooooo beautiful. Clean, right on the beach, nice pool, amazing deck with a huge swing to lay on and listen to the ocean. Kitchen is HUGE. 2 fridges, 2 microwaves, 2 stoves, 2 sets of washers and dryers….elevator. Beautiful beautiful home!! Worth the money. Would love to go back!!

This home was absolutely magnificent!! SUPER clean and spacious!!! We never felt crowded and each bedroom had its own private bath. Was perfect for our large extended family (14 adults and 11 kids ages 15 to 9 months). Very wheelchair accessible! Elevator was very easy to use. Fully stocked double kitchen made cooking a breeze! Spacious deck and a wonderful swimming pool was great for the kids! The walkover to the beach made going back and forth to the beach so easy! And the owners were great to work with! This was our 2nd trip to Gulf Shores and our 4th beach trip with our large family. This was BY FAR the BEST home we have stayed in!!! Looking forward to coming back!!

Gorgeous, Huge house! 3 families, total of 11 people, had more than enough room to spread out! The double kitchen and gigantic island are amazing! Our 6 year-old is in a wheelchair and he had plenty of room to roll around! There is a ramp onto the porch from the wide, living room door. There is also a ramp off the porch to the pool area, and the boardwalk to the beach is greatly accessible! We rented a beach wheelchair from Ike’s - just down the street! (They even delivered the chair and picked it up.). The elevator was a huge plus. We will be back! The only downside - the pool is not heated. Oh, and go to De Soto’s for lunch and dinner!!
