This Kiawah Island vacation rental features 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, seasonal community pool access, and a quick 7-minute walk to the beach. In 2022, the home received a variety of updates, including new interior paint, new furniture for the side deck, and new decking for the front porch, stairs, and side deck.

The semi-detached home exudes Southern charm with its double front porches, soothing color palette, coastal casual furnishings, and hardwood floors. The open and airy main floor allows easy flow between the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room offers comfortable seating, a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and access to the side deck. The dining area is open to the kitchen, featuring a long table with chairs and a bench seat. The light and bright kitchen is highlighted by white cabinetry, marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, a farmhouse apron sink, glass tile backsplash, and an island with bar stool seating.

The primary suite is located on the main floor and offers a king-sized bed, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and private bathroom with double sinks and separate bathtub and shower. Two additional bedrooms and bathrooms occupy the second floor. The first bedroom features two queen beds, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and private bathroom with double sinks and separate bathtub and shower. Another bedroom offers one queen bed and twin-XL bed, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and bathroom with shower.

A mini-retreat itself, the side deck features a grill and outdoor sofas. The ground-level garage features a Ping Pong table.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guests have access to the Ocean Green community pool. This pool is unheated and open seasonally.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

The house adequately met our needs, but on line photos were deceiving. House not clean. Clumsily remodeled, obviously homeowner. Lacking in smoke detectors.Wouldn't rent again. Does VRBO have any industry standards?

Perfect for the 5 of us. Weather bit chilly but still able to play golf, go for walks etc… Didn’t realize access to the spa, gym and restaurants at the Sanctuary was not extended to renters of third party organizations

We really enjoyed our stay in this home and would definitely stay here again. The house is clean and tastefully decorated. The 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom layout was perfect for our group of parents, kids, and teens. We also enjoyed the ping pong table in the garage for extra hangout space. There is easy beach access from this home via a path at the end of the cul-de-sac. It is probably less than a 5 minute ride. We also appreciated that it was just through the gates of vanderhorst and not too far down the island. It was still an easy bike ride to night heron park. One thing to note… a keurig coffee maker is pictured in the listing. That’s no longer there… just a drip coffee maker so plan accordingly!

I love this location because it is close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. The house is beautiful— updated, lovely decor, spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend. Our group of friends were super happy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent Christmas at 16 Ocean Green Drive. The home was immaculate. Location perfect for a short walk to the beach. Every dish, pot, pan, supplies needed to cook,(should you want to cook) wash and enjoy were at our fingertips. I highly recommend this property and plan on renting this lovely home again next Christmas.

We did a ladies getaway and everyone thought the house was amazing. Home is well decorated and didn’t feel like a rental. Kitchen is large and easy to cook in. Out door space was nicely furnished. Bathrooms are lovely. We rented bikes to get to the beach - it takes about 4 minutes to bike to board walk 29. Great location!

While the online pictures show updated bathrooms and kitchen which were nice, the pictures do not tell the story of stained and old bathmats, towels and carpets and musty old bedding. A small investment in basic bedding and towels would greatly improve this property and (show off the pretty flooring by removing the old damp carpets). Kitchen appointments were nice. This is our 10+Kiawah rental and the only bad review I’ve ever left.

The house is in a poor state of repair. This was our 3rd stay in 4 years,A water leak from the upstairs tub flooded downstairs hall. Deck stairs have needed repair for 4 years. Love this location but won’t stay here again.

The renting process was excellent. The property was very nice. The one thing that needs attention are the poaches and deck. They need pressure washing along with the furniture. Because they hadn’t appeared to have been for a long time we couldn’t spend time enjoying them.
