Very clean and comfortable setting for an overnight stay
I think the double bed mattress in Unit 1 could be replaced
1.5 / 5.0
The river and the view.
The aircon was noisy, no mosquito traps, the shower glass not frosted properly(it is see-through with no privacy).
Separate kitchen (you have to go outside the room to get to the kitchen)
Coffee not in sealed sachets.

The unit was clean and neat.
The location, while convenient, is right next to the highway so it is noisy. The units varied greatly in terms of look and feel, are awkwardly shaped and right on top of each other.

Great location and view

The location next to the Orange river is awesome! Friendly people.
The room although clean and neat was really musty and stayed that way for the whole night. They should have opened up the place before we arrived to get some fresh air in. The restaurant was really poor quality. I ordered Lamb LOIN chops and they served some other kind of lamb chop, so I sent it back. Then they said Pizza was good so I ordered one and it was actually terrible. I am not sure what was harder the pizza base or the table. Worst Pizza I ever had.

The location was perfect and very pretty.
The restaurant was closed on a Sunday and so was the town so we went to bed hungry. The mosquitos were awful and the water coming out of the tap was a brown/green colour.

Room # 3 had views unobstructed right onto the river. The springbok were on the front lawn grazing. The bird life was also outstanding. I great break on our way to the Kalahari park.
The river was in flood but that just added to the overall experience.

convenient for our needs
aircon was broken and noisy. looked like it hadn’t worked properly for a while. Room was in between the laundry and staff quarters- not fantastic. Other rooms looked ok, but number 5 is not the one to go for. No plug hole cover in the shower, so a ring etc if dropped was gone forever. Was a bit like Faulty Towers…
