Excellent old style hotel

Traditionnel feeling with a lot of attentions from the staff They lit a fire for us in the living room We get warm water bottles in the bed Very good homemade bread for breakfast. Safe parking

Food at restaurant was amazing, great base to do daytrip to Luederitz and Kolmanskuppe

We had two spaces rooms with a common connecting area and they even put a third bed in for our 3rd child - perfect family space ! safe parking too !

as most places in namibia be aware that wifi was only available in common areas and not the strongest signal

Sehr schönes Hotel mit Restaurant in guter Lage.

Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut. Im Restaurant konnte man abends hervorragendes Kundu- und Oryx-Fleisch bestellen.

Been here twice before, the staff go the extra mile in everything! They turn down the beds and even popped hot water bottles in whilst we were having dinner...just wonderful! Definitely a 10 out of 10!

Disappointing Stay with Room Change and Unclean Bedding

The breakfast was good.

I booked a family room to share with a friend, but upon arrival, we were informed that the room had been changed to a regular room with two single beds pushed together. This situation forced us to separate the beds, and to make matters worse, the bedding was not clean. It was quite disappointing, and we had to resort to using our own sleeping bags that we had brought for our desert trip.

Comfortable and clean

Ideal stopover for a tourist or group. Caters to the basic needs in a clean and comfortable environment. The restaurant has decent cuisine and the breakfast is great.

Not ideal for business travelers. No wifi in the rooms and also lacking a well lit desk area. The numbers on the website also doesnt work so one has no way of reaching the hotel to discuss arrival time etc.

talking about spotless. you cannot keep a hotel cleaner and more well maintained than bahnhof aus. it’s a miracle in the middle of nowhere. everything is polished. the food is amazing. the linen is crisp. the gravel is raced. (!) just come here!

definitely wouldn’t recommend to others

the rooms were clean and the staff were very pleasant but the food was not that good I would give the food a 5/10

Superb

The staff at this place are amazing 👏👏 They can not do enough for you and are absolutely charming. Little extra touches like welcome iced tea are much appreciated. The hotel is very well located for trips to Luderitz and is well presented, comfortable, and quite classy. It has secure parking and ground floor rooms and a very nice veranda for drinks or meals or both. We had dinner and a nice bottle of wine as well as cold drinks on arrival, and the breakfast is included in the rack rate. The breakfast was excellent.

In all honesty, the pasta dinner was a little disappointing. The ravioli was a bit hard and not enough of it for the amount of sauce, but I am being a bit picky. The wine was delicious, as was the coffee and cake.

Very good

The restaurant, the bar and the public areas of the hotel are very well-kept and neat with lots of wonderful details all around. For sure one of the nicest places in whole Namibia. Beautiful flowers and palms next to the hotel along the street in front of the house and in the courtyard. Just to see and experience this beautiful installations justifies a stop. Kind and friendly waiters at the restaurant. Tasty food for dinner and breakfast. Delicious coffee. The hotel rooms are large.

The detailed and beautiful the hotel is, the rather scarcely furnitured and equipped the rooms are. No fridge. Check-in and welcome by the duty manager was - in absence of a better word - awkward.

Good accommodation on way to/from Fish river canyon.

Good clean basic accommodation in a perfect location when travelling between Fish river canyon & Sossusvlei. Evening meal was good. The staff were excellent
