Just what I always imagine a short stay in a country B&B should be like, but isn't always the case

Cosy, comfy, friendly - you could tell as soon as you walked up the path, through the lovely flowery garden, that it was going to be a great place to stay. And it was all so welcoming, with a great breakfast and lovely touches like a range of locally produced teas and 'proper' biscuits in the room - and all in such a historic location, so close to Dunster castle

Can't think of anything at all that we didn't like.

We will come again!

We loved our comfortable room and the breakfast was wonderful and so filling we left out lunch! Paula was very helpful and we loved the little touches like sweeties in the hall and our delicious biscuits being replenished every day. Paula even gave us jar of instant coffee so we could fill our thermoses for the day.

Delightful two night stay.

A pretty cottage well placed in Dunster for walking to the castle, the famous working watermill and restaurants and cafes. The hostess made us feel very welcome. All very clean and full of "cottagey" artifacts and paintings. As it had very old origins there was plenty of character. Warm, cosy and comfortable with woodburning stove burning in the visitors lounge. Nice too to have a visitors lounge. Breakfast was excellent.

Nothing. A minor comment: our room was was compact as was the ensuite. Inevitable perhaps in such an old house.

Exceptional

It is a lovely old cottage full of character. Paula was very welcoming and we felt very much at home. The mulled wine and mince pies while sitting by the fire was a lovely welcome.

Perfect!

Paula was a wonderful host. Everything was just perfect. The room was cosy with a lovely comfy bed and the lounge was a great bonus, it was truely home from home. Lovely breakfast in an equally delightful dining room. Highly recommend a stay here as a fantastic base for exploring the area. Thank you Paula.

We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was very clean and comfortable as was the guest lounge. We would certainly stay there again.

Everything about Millstream was perfect.Lovely decor, exceptionally clean rooms and cosy feel.The bed was comfortable and the little extras like water, juice, fresh milk.

Fabulous B&B in superb location.

Beautiful location. Lovely historic house. Great host. Very clean and great breakfast. Little extras were very much appreciated. Cake and tea on arrival. Milk in fridge beside room, biscuits and juice.

Lovely cottage in an ideal location for exploring

Paula our host, was very welcoming and helpful. We were in an ideal location to explore the local area. We had lovely breakfasts, tea and cake on arrival and great facilities :)

Millstream Cottage is an exceptional b and b. It is very clean, well furnished with a very comfortable bed and a very good breakfast. Paula, the host and her staff were friendly, approachable and helpful.

I personally don't feel that anything could have been better at Millstream Cottage. It was great. 😀 Thank you very much.

Perfect location right in Dunster. Paula was an excellent host, so welcoming with nothing being too much trouble. We arrived and were greeted with tea and cake. My friend needed gluten free food and the gluten free chocolate cake was wonderful and entirely unexpected. The cottage is full of old world charm and so inviting with great attention to detail. Breakfast was plentiful with a great choice. Our stay was fabulous, thank you.

Amazing!

We had a fabulous stay and Paula was so kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Millstream house is absolutely beautiful and a fantastic breakfast. Such a great location too. Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional

We had someone with us who has food allergies and her every need was catered for. The guest lounge was a real bonus, particularly for a group such as ours, as it gave us somewhere comfortable and cosy to congregate. Lovely tea and cake laid on by Paula when we arrived so we settled in very quickly. Rooms comfortable and tastefully decorated, showers wonderful, good selection of hot drinks laid on in the room and fresh milk provided in a communal fridge just outside the rooms. One of the best stays we have had as a travelling book group... couldn't fault it.

Peaceful, relaxing, refreshing Dunster is steeped in history, it seeps into your bones!

Great Welcome, warm, fire lit, lovely lounges nice personal touch from Paula friendly attentive but not over the top! Pretty spot and cottage Great breakfast in a lovely room lots on offer well presented Easy access to the town nothing very far loved the walk to and from the cottage

Parking is a challenge where ever you are in Dunster and it is at Millstream however there is a good car park just a couple of minuets walk. The bedroom is well equipped but very, lets say 'snug'! don't let that put you off we would go again.
