Please note all outdoor areas are for the common use of all 7 cottages. Our cottage has a new interior with full kitchen, corian counters in the color 'beach glass', sliding glass door overlooking the sand and surf. Enjoy a little luxury at the beach. This is the closest thing to having a bed on the beach! Full bath with rainfall shower head and luxurious towels. All linens included, even beach towels. Moody beach is a private beach for homeowners only. It has beautiful powder like sand and is shallow, just wonderful for children. Two outdoor showers are part of the association. Inconvenient cabin. Loveseat is to big for the room so when it is moved at night it blocks the door and makes it unsafe in case of an emergency!! 2 smaller comfortable chairs would work better!! Also the floor is very spongy and uneven!! Needs some tender loving care!

We love this place and will be back. It’s perfect for 2 people!

Property is very small but we knew that when booking. The ocean right out your door is the reason for staying here. Everything that you need to have the property had. We had a problem and the owner and her husband were very responsive and the issue was resolved the same day. We are looking forward to returning next year.

enjoyed staying in the cottage directly on private beach. Quiet and private. Just what we needed for a couple of days away to help us unwind.

We loved being right on the beach!! We walked into Ogunquit each day and did the Marginal way. The cottage is small but well equipped and we were very comfortable. Great stay!!

It was a last minute trip I booked, the owner Deb was great with communicating with me about my concerns (not that there were many) just the fine details.
Once I arrived I was amazed at the ease of finding the place, location of the cottage, the view and all the fine details of the cottage. I couldn’t have done anything to make it better.
Friendly people on the beach, great walk to Ogunquit, Marginal Way and Perkins Cove!
Felt cozy, welcoming and a very restful place to get away from life’s craziness. I definitely look forward to going again💜🙏

The ocean view was great. The cottage overall was not bad but is in need of some general maintanance and upkeep

Very small but well appointed cottage on directly on the beach. You can watch the sunrise from the patio chairs or listen to the waves while you sleep. Beach walking can be done for about a mile in either direction and the beach is mostly private owners so never too busy. Note the parking spots are very small so don’t bring a pick-up or large SUV. If the stairs haven’t been fixed use caution! Very enjoyable experience, the proximity to the water here is key!

We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay at the cottage this past weekend. The cottage was very cleanly, property manager was responsive and great to work with, the location is breathtaking. It was the perfect couple’s getaway. Moody Beach is amazing, nothing beats the private beach. Highly recommend for couples or single individuals who would like a break from reality.

Another gorgeous year at Moody. These cottages are quite historic, loved learning more about them from the thoughtful neighbors and locals. If you like the beach it doesn't get better than this.

Enjoyed our first time staying at Moody Beach. House was adequate for our needs. Location provides good access to Ogunquit and Kennebunkport.

Loved being so close to the ocean and hearing it at night.

We loved staying at Deb’s cottage. It is just as pictured, and while it is tiny, it is well arranged and well stocked. The sounds of the ocean and the sunrise were perfect, and the beach was lovely. This was a perfect relaxing weekend!

We had an awesome weekend!
We watched a glorious sunrise Saturday, enjoyed long walks on the beach, rode bikes into Perkins Cove and up to Wells Beach, gained two pounds eating out, and even enjoyed watching the ocean during the rain.

The view is spectacular, we would love to visit in the summer to utilize the beach more.

Great stay at this little house. It was the perfect location right on the ocean. The kitchen and bath are nicely done. The furnishings made the minimal space easy to function. Well thought out furniture to work for relaxing, eating and sleeping

What a fabulous location….right on Moody Beach! Cottage was absolutely charming. The hostess was gracious, prompt & left not one thing to our imagination…from an easy check-in/out to where her favorite places were to dine out! We thoroughly enjoyed every second of this lovely oceanfront vacation. 💞💞💞

Went w/ my Mom for a 3 night Maine get-a-way.
Cabin was cute and neighbors were so nice.
Highly recommend this place!

We did not stay! Property was not what I reserved. My reservation was for a 3 bdrm, full kitchen, porch on the water. This was a sofa bed in a 10 X 16 paint chipped, poor to unsafe steps. Tiny bath with shower stall, no kitchen.
Could not take my bride of 50 years into such a place.

Everything you could hope for and more. Have stayed here twice, and hoping to book again soon. It's hard to leave when it's time to check out!

My husband and I have vacationed in Maine many times, but never stayed at Moody beach. What a wonderful little get-away! The house was small (as advertised), but perfect for the 2 of us-clean, well decorated and had all the necessities. The location couldn’t be beat. We walked the beach each morning and enjoyed the nearby attractions, including Marginal Way, downtown Ogunquit, mini golf and great seafood. Nothing like falling asleep and waking to the sound of the ocean!

Clean, well equipped for a couple that spends the day outside. Nice kitchenette and clean bathroom with shower and hot water. Why wouldn't you, with the ocean front location! Great beach location.

The cabin is very small but very well equipped. Couple of things are crooked or rusty, but that is to be expected from those old seaside cabins. We slept 3 in the cabin so we were very squeezed. We slep one night with the aerobed setup, but choose to use the couch the second night. The aero bed really takes all the space, making it hard to access the bathroom. We hung out everyday at the beach right in front and it was perfect. I was able to surf right in front. The chairs and picnic table area is great for morning coffee and happy hour. Outdoor showers were much appreciated after a full day at the beach.
These little cabins are the best if you’re looking to live simply, by the sea.

The property is consistent with the description. A small cottage right on a stunning beach. The parking was adequate for a mid size suv. The description accurately descibes it as a tiny house. Having a Murphy Bed and a love seat that has to be moved out of the way to access the bed makes it difficult to move around so arranged. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The kitchen area, cooking implements, spices and oils were all very workable. Loved the china. Although crystal clear in the description that all outdoor furniture and spaces are open to all guests from 7 cottages, we didn't really understand the lack of privacy until in the mix. Thankfully all the guests during our stay were very nice and respectful of each others space. Better suited to extoverts than intoverts. The beach at low tide is about a football field or more to the water, and ample at high tide. The location on Moody Beach is outstanding.

Rented for my wife's birthday we went up with our 2yr old son, place is exactly as advertised! super super cozy very well beach themed but has room for improvement with some simple DYI pinterest ideas for tiny homes. But you're at the beach you shouldn't be spending alot of time inside unless forced to. The fee's are bit aggressive also. But if you want on the beach I guess you pay for it.

My sister and I loved the location as it was literally steps to the beach. It had everything we needed-ac, stove, Microwave, and fridge. It was very clean and the Murphy bed was surprisingly very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and there were more than enough towels. It’s a beautiful tiny beach house.

This tiny house cottage really does have the perfect location and is RIGHT on the beach. For those wanting to be outside on the sand or in the ocean all day (which we were), it's pretty ideal. The space is very tight, though for us this was completely fine. We enjoyed our stay!

Pack your bathing suit - and not much else. Tiny cottage but charming and comfortable. Walk right out your door onto Moody Beach. Convenient access to Rt1 for shopping and dining however we bought groceries, parked ourselves on the beach and went nowhere. Guests in the other cottages were friendly. Nice little community

If you love watching sunrises, sunsets and spending all day on the beach like I do, this is the perfect property! You can't get any closer to the beach than this! Adorable cottage and comfortable for the 2 of us. Will def rebook!

Amazing Vacation
Amazing Host, Amazing tiny house and Amazing location !!! The kids and myself had a blast !!

We went for the 4th of July and it was a perfect location! Having private access right on the beach! The cabin is small but we were well aware of this and packed light (even with a 6 month old and a pack and play it was not bad) the only thing to complain about was the parking. We own a yukon xl (our only car) and if we parked in our designated parking spot we would not be able to get out. Maybe the cabin owner should add pictures of the parking?? because we were not aware of this until a few days prior. Luckily one of the other renters were nice to switch with us. Overall would stay again!! Thank you Deb!

Continuous Sound of the Ocean Waves
This location was amazing! Considering the first few days were cold and rainy, it didn't matter because I was able to rotate the loveseat and look out the sliding glass door to watch and listen to the ocean waves. During high tide, the ocean is close and low tide provides a wide beach on which to walk. Wells is close to other towns to visit such as York and Portland and of course The Marginal Way was very close as well. I hope to rent this tiny cottage again some day!

AMAZING!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy and quaint cottage on Moody Beach. Waking to the beautiful sunrises every morning and falling asleep to the sounds of the surf every night. This property is just… WOW! Heaven on earth!!

Great beach front cottage! Only 1 drawback - It is definitely for 2 people. Add another person in there and it would be cramped!
