Beautiful view of the beach.

The view was fantastic!! Staff friendly
Caboose too small, and a guy coughing and spluttering all night made me leave early and book elsewhere.

Poor communication, yoga and massage although advertised were unavailable

The guided meditation and sauna was amazing and the view 😍

Lovely hippiesh place with nature surrounding you. Wood heated sauna! 😍 What a treat! Yoga classes. Feels like being in more exotic location.
Lovely view to the ocean. Nice outdoor lounges.
Really chill place like Raglan in general, don't take this place too seriously and you'll be fine.
Location. On the other hand it's such a lovely surroundings that you don't need the town centrum but in reality you do. Especially for solo traveler. Luckily hitchiking worked.
WiFi worked only near the reception.
Kitchen was bit too small at times when busy. Too bad that the facilities hadn't recovered after covid yet cause the Cafe wasn't running and massage appointment didn't go through.
Staff seemed also a bit unorganized.

The scenery, the people (clients and staff), the wagon cabins, the perfect access to the beach, the perfect walk to go to town, the common space, the bathrooms
Maybe the kitchen needs a little bit of improvement with the cooking furnitures but everything was okay to use, it was still good moments overthere cooking with everyone

This place is gorgeous. Great views perfectly located for a Raglan retreat. Cabins are cosy, bed was comfy with blankets and linen provided. Fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace.
Showers could do with a revamp but okay

Amazing views. Awesome kitchen. Great people.
No power points or WiFi in room (only reception has WiFi, and shared areas have power points).

The outlook from the reception area is outstanding, and the railway carriage is a funky place to stay.
Unfortunately, it was a very cold night and one of the heaters (in the bedroom) did not work. We were therefore rather cold and uncomfortable. We also found the interior of the carriage dated and bleak and in need of a "refresh". At the time we visited, we were the only guests, but there were many people resident. As a result, cars were coming and going till quite late in the evening, with lights and car "beeps" (from repeated locking and unlocking). The grounds also need tidying up, and old crates and tarpaulins removed.

The view from the front area is insane.
The facilities are extremely run down, the common area is not welcoming at all. No proper sponges for cleaning dishes. Ancient cookware. Absolutely no water pressure in the showers. Lights didn't work in the toilet. The mattress quality was terrible and needs to be replace. So overpriced.

Such an incredible setting with water views, and unique accommodation with a range of room types in cabins/train carriages/etc. Absolutely loved it!
