Things to know/be aware of:
*This home does accept up to two dogs but there is a pet fee of $32/dog/night (before tax). In addition, due to the fact that HomeAway/VRBO does not allow us to charge for more than one dog at the time of booking, please let us know if you will be bringing more than one dog, so that we can make sure that you are charged the correct amount. Furthermore, please bring crates for your dogs and crate them in your absence from the house, do not allow the dogs on furniture or beds, and pick up and properly dispose of their waste. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.
*If you would like to bring more than two dogs or have a pet other than a dog that you'd like to bring on your stay, please ask, as we'd be happy to consider making an exception for your stay.
*While the wraparound porch is common and shared between your suite (the Fountain Suite) and the other suite on the property (the Balcony Suite), we do ask that you respect the privacy of the guests that might be staying in the Balcony Suite. You are more than welcome to walk to the front balcony portion of the porch and look out over Main Street and the stores of downtown below, however, we ask that you do not stare into the Balcony Suite's windows or sit in the furniture outside of the Balcony Suite's entrance. We want guests of both suites to have an enjoyable stay and would be very appreciative of your help and cooperation in achieving this goal.
*Due to the suite's proximity to Main Street and popular late night attractions, please be aware that there is the possibility of noise until early hours in the morning. If you are a light sleeper or generally do not handle noise well, please consider other accommodations.
*The suite is on the second floor of a building on Main Street, so a flight of stairs must be navigated to reach the suite's entrance.
*If you need additional space, be sure to inquire about availability for the Balcony Suite, the sister suite to the Fountain Suite.

Long weekend get away with spouse. Close to all the action. So much to enjoy in Fredericksburg. We will be back!

The apartment was very charming and tastefully decorated and the original oil paintings were amazing. The location was very convenient and we had no issues walking to shops and restaurants on Main Street and to nearby locations.. This was our first time in Fredericksburg and I was not sure which end of the street to rent but this ended up being perfect. I would highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again.

Good location. Clean and charming. Especially enjoyed outside sitting area in the morning. A little noisy late night on weekends and early morning church bells. Liked having off street parking too. Overall, we would stay again.

My wife and I stayed the weekend for her birthday. Main Street shopping and plenty of great restaurants literally right outside the door.
The suite was totally awesome. The rustic stone with old wood floors gave the room great character. We stayed in the fountain suite, but next time we will try the balcony suite.

My sister and I stayed for one night only but wished we had more time. The location and the space were both perfect for our one night get-away. Wineries and Enchanted Rock were the attractions for us.

Great location, clean and well-kept. Management was easy to work with and handled everything wonderfully.

My friend and I met in Fredricksburg for a bit of girl time. We absolutely loved our stay. This adorable apartment is decorated so beautifully and had just the perfect touch throughout.

Super cute place. It was a bit noisy, but has nothing to do with the property. It was very cute and clean and we had a great time!

Perfect location, dog friendly and super cute! Only downsides were it was a little dirty and dusty (especially for the price) and the windows are very old and any noise comes right through them (18 wheelers and loud trucks passing by every few minutes).

This property is in a great location in Fredericksburg. We were able to walk to everything in town and our drives in and out of Fredericksburg were easy too.
The old building and limestone is beautiful as was the artwork hung in the unit. If you have difficulty with stairs and walking, this is not the place for you. It is rather noisy due to being right on Main Street with lots of trucks driving through town at all hours of the night/morning. Also, the church bells can be heard in the main bedroom in the early morning (6 am!).
We would have liked a few empty drawers in the bedrooms for use as well as some nicer quality hangers in the main bedroom closet. We prefer not working out of our suitcases when we travel, but it may be no big deal to some travelers.
We did not use the kitchen for much other than making coffee, heating up food in the microwave, and drinking some wine. It seemed to be pretty well equipped.
There was an issue with the kitchen sink faucet - very low pressure and no hot water. We reported this to the host/manager and they were very thankful we did so.
The bathroom is small and lighting is poor, so ladies bring your make up mirrors. Tissues would have been appreciated too.
Tonya provided us with some recommendations for eateries prior to our stay and we enjoyed several of her suggestions - Old German Bakery, Western Edge, and Crossroads.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and feel the small negatives were outweighed by the great location!

The apartment space was absolutely lovely. The old stone walls and beautiful floors were decorated and paired with lovely art and furnishings, and very comfortable beds! We didn't use the kitchen, but it was well stocked. The listing mentioned that street noise can be heard and to prepare for that, so we brought ear plugs. They weren't quite enough, as it was more traffic, rather than people, that you could hear, and construction trucks early in the morning (although I think that was just for a project behind the building that day, perhaps not a constant). Ear plugs helped, but take this part of the listing very seriously if you are sensitive to noise. Other than that, I wish this was my town home. Safe and convenient parking and easy check-in.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The decor was very pretty and homey and the location was very good. We didn't use the kitchen so I'm not sure how well it is stocked. The master bed sheets were the softest I've ever slept in and I'm in the process of tracking them down to buy for home. The only negatives was the extremely low water pressure and being woken up early Sunday morning by 45 bells which range twice.

Someone should have mentioned that there were a large staircase you had to climb a lot. We are 75-73 years old and it was quite a chore going up and down. Would never stay in that unit again

Adorable property! Well stocked, great location, and spacious!

The property was so cute!! Beds were very comfortable, and we loved the location!! If you want to sleep in and have trouble falling asleep, this might not be the property for you. Nearby church bells go off at 6:00 every morning. We are early risers, so we were usually already awake. We absolutely loved this place and can’t wait to visit again!!!

Stayed for a few days for family (adult child) vacation. Second time with this rental as it is very convenient location. The traffic can be a bit noisy at times but we knew that going in and was not too bad.

Perfect property right on the Main Street and the wrap around balcony gives a gray view of the main street. End your day by sitting on patio with a bottle of wine and watch people pass down the Main street

Short Stay
We stayed just one night. Everything was wonderful the place was very comfortable and in a great location. The tv was hard to work but that was not why we were there.

Our recent stay in the Fountain suite was wonderful. The suite is beautiful and was fully stocked with all we needed. Thank you to Nathan Troppy for helping us out! We will definitely recommend this suite to others and hope to stay there again in the future!

Great place, had everything, perfect location

Location, comfort, and beauty make this a five star stay! It was our favorite lodging on Main Street that we have ever booked. My only complaint was that the breakfast items were random and mostly junk. We would still have stayed here regardless and it was fantastic, but if a property says they include breakfast items and you do not pack any, it is kind of annoying to have to go out to breakfast.

Loved this great place right on Main! So close and convenient to everything. Everything you could possibly need is here, thank you for the thoughtfulness!

Lovely furnishings. Comfy beds. Management very responsive to questions and very helpful in all areas.

My mom and I stayed in the Fountain suite above the Hanna Gallery for 4 nights in April 2019 and we LOVED it! It's an older building so the walls and windows are thin but the noise wasn't too bad. We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio overlooking Main Street. They have done a great job of maintaining the history and preserving the wood floors and cabinets while decorating beautifully. The beds were crazy comfortable with foam mattresses and great pillows. It's just a couple blocks from the main shopping area so you can easily walk. Right across the street is Altdorf Beer Garden and German restaurant, Crossroads Steakhouse and Saloon and Hondo's which are all delicious for food and drink. And the owners are on site in the gallery below if you need anything at all. We had a plumbing issue and they promptly took care of it and were very accommodating. Highly recommend!

My wife and I decided on a quick getaway to Fredericksburg and we are so glad we found the RS Hanna Gallery Suite. It was clean and the location was perfect for walking to the restaurants and shops. I highly recommend!!!!!
