This studio was one of the best we've stayed at. Seemed larger than it was due to all the storage options. Unfortunately the floors were filthy inside and on the balcony. The grounds need to be sprayed for mosquitoes and the lawn for chiggers. We got so many bug bites. We had really wanted to enjoy our outside balcony while looking at the ocean. We applied bug spray and picked up a citronella candle from Publix. It helped a little but not enough. Would stay at on the key again, but most likely would find another place.

We stay in this room when we go to longboat key. The appliances were upgraded but are noisy for some reason. I also would suggest some pest control as there were several bugs in the room. The fan is on reverse and there is no fan remote to change it and don’t even bother trying to watch tv, it took me quite a while to get that to work and missed game 7 of the Stanley cup.

This place is a hidden Gem, Checking in was a breeze, Sue is very friendly gave me a bunch of recommendations for restaurants. My room was so quaint & nice, very clean! I was able to enjoy & unwind on the patio & watch the waves crash the white sandy beach. I even saw some giant bunny rabbits & dolphins. Being able to sleep listening to the waves was so relaxing. I waking up the an amazing sunrise sure gives a person a whole new meaning to Rise & Shine.

This property is small and older. The Beach is not crowded and the pool was never busy. It was a very relaxing place to stay. Everyone was friendly. These are condo units and each are owned individually so I can only speak about 226. The screen on the sliding door was all bent and on our last day there management used their key at 9 in the morning without knocking(check out was 11) and walked in on me dressing. Other than that it was a really nice stay!

I’ll start with the good....great view from balcony!Not so good....very uncomfortable bed, dirty floors, mold and mildew on shower walls and shower curtain. And why is it necessary to charge a cleaning fee when we as guests are required to do part of the work?

We loved our stay! Studio well appointed and cute, balcony and views great! Right on the beach, we listened to the sounds of waves every night! Incredible sunset view from our unit and balcony. Quiet! Screen doors could use a replacement, but other than that it was perfect! One star down on the cleaning because the cleaner apparently didn’t clean behind the bathroom door. Everything else was very clean. We hope to be back.

Can't say enough about how beautiful the beach and set up was! Loved it! It's small and quiet, no large crowds anywhere. Perfect set up for us as a couple looking to just relax and put our feet in the sand for a short vaca while combing a trip to the east coast to visit family. Our first time on Long Boat Key and really hope to come back!

The condo was nice and had a really good view. Especially sunset! It’s location is just a short drive to restaurants, shopping and jet ski rentals. The turtle bar cafe was good and the shore restaurant was amazing! Would love to go back again and try out some other activities and restaurants.

Pros: The views of the gulf are gorgeous, and the little balcony was perfect for morning coffee overlooking the water. The decor is cute and beachy. It’s got a full-size fridge and oven, if you want to eat in. Easy check-in. Cons: The mattress was comfy enough, but the pillows were too thick and hard for me (just my preference). The balcony furniture could use a refresh. Overall: For the price, you can’t beat it. I’d 100% recommend for a beach getaway.

The provided beach chairs and umbrellas were very appreciated. The heated pool was wonderful, but could have used some lighting for the early evenings. Well I must enter this and explain why would I rate everything top notch yet are time was not the most enjoyable but it had nothing to do with the property as “red tide “was absolutely horrible. we had an ocean front room and for the last five days of our stay we couldn’t go out on our balcony unless we were coughing which also kept us from going to the beach Locals told us it was the worst they had ever experienced. It was just luck of the draw but mother nature was very tough this time We certainly will go back to the property and hope for much better weather !

Overall, our stay was very good. Staff was very nice and accommodating to our needs. We did have an A/C-roof issue that caused some water in the room but it was addressed immediately. Location was great! Close to everything but far enough away for privacy. Room was very nice; kitchen area was small [as expected] but, surprisingly stocked with everything we needed for breakfast or lunch meals. Also very close to a Publix for our food and beverage needs. Beach was great and easy to access. Would definitely go back!

Our stay was fabulous! We loved our room with its grand view of Gulf of Mexico. Nightly visits from the big blue heron and 3 bunny rabbits were cool. I only had one complaint and that was about housekeeping. I wish I would have been better informed as to if and when they were coming and where to dispose of my trash, etc.

We enjoyed our stay at The Beach at Longboat Key. Our accommodations were excellent. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. There were plenty of baths towels and beach towels. It was nice to be able to have a washer and dryer to use if needed. The patio area has a beautiful view of the gulf with just a short walk to the beach. Beach Chairs and umbrellas available which makes it so convenient and the pool was kept very nice and clean. The office staff was very nice. We would recommend it to anybody who wants a relaxing stay by the beach. Our only concern is there should be a grab bar in the bathroom for safety reasons and more lighting on the outside stairway.

Only thing keeping this rental from a 10 was lack of umbrellas, and cooking items such as pots/pans/utensils. Just need more of them and variety of sizes. Besides that, we give it a10. Clean and neat. Perfect location with Armands Circle and Anna Maria close by. Pool is very nice and heated. Walk to beach is maybe 30 yards out your door. It would be nice if they had beach grooming but may not be available in areas. Loved it and making arrangements for return. 👍
