Nice stay near Mestia

Bardzo przestronny salon, w którym można spędzić czas. Małe ale komfortowe pokoje. Czystość. Pyszne śniadanie. Doceniam parking na miejscu.

Jeden z psów był nieco nadpobudliwy szczególnie wobec naszego małego syna.

The landlady is very nice and communicative. She felt like family. They make their own cheese and the breakfast is delicious. When we come to Mestia next time, we will definitely stay there again.

We arrived at night and it was difficult to find the place. Fortunately some young boy showed it to us. Please indicate it better.

The breakfast was delicious and the house has plenty of traditional touches.

It is slightly challenging to find the place, but if you ask someone they will guide you. Aa.There is no A/C and it was quite hot at night

Peaceful, good hosts, food and comfy beds

The owners are lovely and prepared a delicious dinner and breakfast, they took us to the centre of Mestia for free in the morning - a taxi normally costs 20 GEL. The beds were very comfortable and it was clean. It is a very peaceful place. The only thing is the walls are quite thin but I would definitely stay again!

We had a great time in guesthouse Lilat and definitely recommend it. It is not located directly in Mestia, which was great for us as Mestia is quite a noisy town, while this village is calm and serene. You need to walk 30-40 minutes to reach Mestia or take a taxi, the walk is nice though, especially in the morning. The hosts are communicative and helpful. They even prepared a very early breakfast for us when we had to catch and early morning marshrutka.

BEST place you could only wish to stay in Mestia!!!

The best place !! Guys, If you want to feel real Svaneti then choose this place! We lived in a family with hundreds years history, they have own Svanetian towers !! Own church with amazingly saved pictures on the walls ( insane, never seen that before!) Svanetian homemade food, wild Narzan water. Water pressure in the shower the best in whole Georgia)) Host drived us to Mestia and back every day, as we had private tour and our guide stayed in center, but we wanted to live in Lilat Gueshouse. Highly recommended! Will come to this place again.

Nice and comfortable guest house near the center of Mestia. There is a transfer to the center by car, but you can also walk, the road is interesting and beautiful. The hosts are very nice, helpful, approachable, help and recommend the best for any issue. Breakfast is included in the price and is fantastic, enough for the whole day, it is also possible to order dinner, which was also very thorough and delicious. We had three rooms on the second floor, breakfast and dinner on the first floor in a beautiful and cozy living room, which also shows historical objects, as well as a fragment of the wall from the 10th century. Thank you very much for the wonderful reception!

Amazing guesthouse stay with super nice host, offering the best quality at affordable price!

This was our best stay in Georgia! Traditional stylish houshold was renovated and adapted to the needs of the travellers, offering amazing quality for a great price! The room was super clean and cozy, the bed was comfortable, even the linen was exeptionally soft! Our room had a private bathroom with hair-dryer and set of towels for each guest, and the room was equipped with a small electric heater if it gets cold at night, what was really thoughtful. From the window we had a view at the mountains and one of the famous Svan towers. A cherry on top was breakfast - extremely tasty and plentiful! If we come back to Mestia, we’ll definitely choose the same place!

The price is good, stuff friendly, room clean, but there is some difficulties to find location.

The room is really clean and comfy. There is everything you need, the owner of the house is friendly.

There was two problems. First, that we couldnt find the apartment for an hour. There was no any sign of LILAT Guesthouse, the owner didnt answered the phone. Also it was super cold room.

A nice guesthouse in a local house

The guesthouse is a seperate part of a local house. You enter with the same entrance as the inhabitants and then go left and there is the part of the building. Downstairs there is a living room, upstairs the small rooms. There are four rooms - two with bathrooms, two without. The host family is very nice and friendly, all of its members. The breakfasts are absolutely smashing. We regretfully did not get dinner, it probably was also great. Also got a shot of chacha with the father of the family, we had a nice chat. There is room to park the car next to the house. You really feel like you are staying in a village, not in some guesthouse thing, in a good way. There is a common kitchen available, shared with the host family.

The rooms have very thin walls. Our neighbour was talking on skype the whole first evening, we had to ask her to be a bit more quiet to sleep. Second night it was ok. There are no light-proof curtains in the windows, meaning not a lot of privacy. The rooms are very small, there is the common living room downstairs to sit. There were issues with the internet access - I think our neighbour had the modem in her room, when it turned off she could only reset it if she was actually there. Also it is hard to find the house. Google Maps only sees the main road, and you have to find the correct place to turn right, which is not easy. Look for one with signs to churches and guesthouses, regretfully this ones does not have a sign there. The road off the main road is also bad quality. We had a 21cm ground clearance car so it was easy, but you should probably have at least 15cm to drive comfortably. It is a dirt road with stones. They will be putting asphalt there I think this year or so.

The guesthouse is 3km from the center of Mestia. We were welcomed by someone who does not speak English, and hospitality is very lacking. The house is not clean in general (bathroom in the bedroom not cleaned). The breakfast was so-so compared to other guesthouses

Retreat

The room was nice, good light and two windows. The shower was great, the bathroom was clean and I could use the kitchen, that was a blessing 🙏🙃 The garden and the view are lovely, the surrounding areas are nice and it's just so quiet! Love it! I had to work so wifi was a must, worked fine 😊

Just a bit out of town, so no shops around. But the distance is OK to walk.

The guest house is run by a VERY nice family. They provide very good servis!!! We have the breakfast and dinner there, do not miss it, the food was briliant, everything was homemade. Accomodation is located out of Mestia which is nice, the place is quiet. Rooms are very clean.

Great family home in beautiful location

We arrived to Mestia in the rain and saw this place come up - it was perfect. It's 2.5k from the main bus drop off, but Levan came and picked us up. The family are lovely, the food is great (too much!) and the rooms are brand new. The village is a small one, full of the famous towers, next to an ancient church which you can visit. If you want to be away from the busier areas and stay in an historic area, this is perfect for you. e loved the dog, the cows, the 10th century wall and more.
