Genuine and very pleasant surprise

Wonderful host, excellent location. Much better place than on photos, very nice terrace. Rooms comfortable (mattresses on firm side) - very good choice if you want to spend a night or two.

Amazing Hotel

The place is incredibly comfy and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious and abundant and our hostess was extremely kind to us. Great experience so far.

Everything was very good with two exceptions below: good location, clean room, good breakfast.

1. There was no sign outside to tell you that this is the hotel!! At a minimum, you would expect a sign on the building! 2. It was hard to find a way to drive to the hotel; directions through the pedestrian zone should have been given!

Exceptional

We liked simply everything. The location was awesome. Lela received us pretty well, the hotel was very close from the main square. The room was very clean and the bed/pillows very comfy. The breakfast was really good, simple but with a lot of variety and local delicatessens to try.

Friendly and cute place at the heart of the old city

It’s a very cute house with nice outdoor areas/yard right in the middle of the old town. The hostess was super sweet and helpful - she helped us with parking, answered all of our questions, prepared a delicious breakfast for us, and even let us pick some of the berries of her berry tree :)

The room itself (we had a triple) is pretty small, but we made it work and everything else was great!

Very friendly ladies running this please. Nice terrace and sitting area within a lovely garden. Great location. quiet. parking inside the yard.

Slightly smelly bathroom (not their fault - most likely the plumbing) but otherwise very clean.

Good location, warm shower and comfortable room

Breakfast was excellent custom made to our choice. Small hotel with stunning views of the Mountains

Road to it was a bit challenging but probably not as bad as some streets in NYC.

Very good

Magdalena was very welcoming and made an amazing breakfast. Rooms were relatively big and comfortable with ensuite bathroom. Also parking was very good, would easily stay again when visiting Mtsketa. Will highly recommend.

Exceptional

Incredible location, right behind the cathedral, with direct access to the cobbled streets of the old town. Host was responsive and helpful. Room was comfortable. Breakfast also very good, including home made sausage.

Nice and tidy room, friendly householder, warm bed, wonderful breakfast. Appreciate hotel kindly help. Easy parking in hotel yard. The great location. Very convenience. My mom love it very much! Recommend this hotel to family traveler.

excellent stay, would love to return in a warmer season

the host is amazing and breakfast was excellent. I’m American with zero language skills. my son has been studying Russian for 4+ years and we are traveling around Georgia on his winter break. when my son talked to her in Russian (he doesn’t know Georgian) she seemed surprised and also very interested in conversation. Anyhow, some notes. I reserved a long time back and I forgot that she could remotely open the gate at the end of the street by simply calling her. We parked in the public parking lot nearby and made the short walk. Not a huge deal for us, but if you have limited mobility you likely want to park at her place. My flight from the US suffered from multiple delays and by the time we arrived it was near midnight, thankfully she was ready for us even at that time. One more detail, we asked if there was a cash machine nearby and she explained it and then also walked us to it. fantastic host.

Best breakfast of the whole vacation.

The veranda and the garden are beautiful, ideal if one wants to rest after a long day walking around. The owner was lovely and welcoming and she cooked us the best breakfast of the whole vacation (see photo).

Mtskheta is lovely

A lovely place in an excellent location. Walking distance from the cathedral, restaurants and small shops. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. A very quiet area. Parking available.

Amazing authentic house

Lovely authentic home and very friendly hosts. One of the best places in Georgia where we have stayed. Breakfast 5*****! The view from the terrace is amazing, private parking if you have a car. We didn't want to leave to be honest

It was a perfect stay

Lela is a brilliant woman and she just makes your stay. Her breakfast is from another world. We had a lovely chat a few times and this is the type of things you love in Georgia. She helped us a lot. The location is great. You are very close to a lot of things.

Just a small thing: the bed in our room was noisy and small, so every move you make - you hear a squick. But that’s it :)

The whole house ambient was really beautiful and the room was very cozy and included a fridge. Location is directly in the center of the city, the street is next to the cathedral. The lady of the house is really nice and speaks english quite well and nothing was a problem to her. But the best thing was defenitly breakfast, which was homemade, local food, very big and very tasty.
