About this house rental
This lovely home is surrounded by the serenity of Bradley Nature Preserve and 2 acre gardens & yet is just a 10 minute walk from Main Street Saluda and it's quaint shops and restaurants. Small events may be considered. Permission required in advance.
Come make pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven, swing on the porch, let the dogs play in the run, play Glow Disc Golf, Axe Throwing (safe) & Bocce Ball or horseshoes.... or choose a trail in the Nature Preserve. And of course, make S'mores in the Fire Pit and sip on some local wine while you watch fireflies dance.
The space
Four lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (upstairs bathroom has no shower - just a tub) with lots of old house character, and cozy, fresh farmhouse decorating. Relax on one of the porches (3), swing in the hammock, play Disc (Frisby) Golf, Axe Throwing (the safe kind), Horseshoes or Bocce Ball….or take a walk through the gardens. Later take a walk through the forest that surrounds the house, or have a gathering at the fire pit. Worked up an appetite? Stoke up the charcoal BBQ grill, make Pizza in the wood burning oven or walk downtown to one of many fun restaurants. Still have energy? How about Glow in The Dark Disc Golf in the yard or a firepit with Smores?
The Master bedroom on the main floor has a Queen bed and ensuite bath. Bedroom 2 upstairs has a Queen bed, bedroom 3 has a Full bed & twin bed (with 2 twin mattresses hiding under the bed too just in case), and Bedroom 4 has a twin bed and small desk. Bathroom 2 is upstairs as well.
The 2 TV’s offer Youtube TV and you can plug in your Netflix subscription if you like.
After you've restored your equilibrium at this soothing house, you may want to jump in the car to drive to dozens of waterfalls, hiking trails or go for a tube ride on the Green River nearby.
If you crave adrenaline or are an avid outdoorsman, kayak, bike, fish, rock climb or do The Gorge Zipline.
Equestrians will love the quick access to the Tryon International Equestrian Center.
When you want to sightsee or shop (and you've covered Saluda), take in the nearby Mountain towns of Landrum, Tryon, Flat Rock & Zirconia.
It’s just a 15 minute drive to Hendersonville, and 30 minutes to Asheville too!
Other things to note
Please inform us if you would like to bring dogs (max 3). A pet fee of 50$ per dog will be added to your reservation after dogs are approved. The upstairs bathroom has a clawfoot tub but no shower.

Saluda a wonderful town

The house has plenty of room and well maintained. Nice back porch for enjoying the backyard and quiet neighborhood. Easy access to Saluda’s main street and Hendersonville.

The house was wonderful. We enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit and our dogs loved the fenced in yard.
We plan to return.

My husband and I from Chicago met up with our son's family at Serenity. They arrived an hour before us and texted immediately to say the house is "FANTASTIC!" That word describes our entire week stay at your lovely home! The house had old-world charm but with all the modern amenities and conveniences. Our 2 grandchildren (age 9 years plus a toddler age 20 months) loved the tree swing and playing outside in the lovely grounds. It was great being right next to the nature preserve and we even found some morel mushrooms on our walk! We loved exploring Saluda and found the people amazingly friendly and clearly proud of their little town. We also spent a day exploring Hendersonville and Asheville. The only disappointment was that my son and family were really hoping to spot bears ... maybe on our next visit! Our host Tricia could not have been more helpful in providing info about the area, restaurants, things to do, etc. She made the reservation process and check-in and -out process so easy. We loved playing the ring hook game on the back deck and we even made home-made pizza one evening! The kitchen was very well-stocked, and we definitely availed ourselves of that as we had a toddler whose schedule kept us home for dinner quite a bit! The only thing that could have made our stay better would have been an additional week at Serenity. We'd love to go back later in the spring to enjoy more of this beautiful area of NC and get in more hiking and exploring.

Very nice host. Charming, clean (only top of fridge missed), spacious, pet-friendly home with comfortable beds and many starter items (soap, spices, etc.). Great location at .6 miles from downtown Saluda. Around the corner from I-26. Would've traded the larger nightstands for smaller tables to accommodate a king bed in one of the rooms. We knew there were no kings when we booked, but we didn't realize our 40-something bones and 200+ pound bodies didn't sleep as well in queens anymore. We knew there was only one shower in the house (suggest adding a handshower to the tub upstairs), but didn't know that the only way in and out of the one bathroom on the main level was through the bedroom, which was limiting. TV only in one of the four bedrooms (could be a pro or con depending on preference). Great smart tvs in the family room and kids' room. The only other suggestion is to replace or add to the sheer curtains for more sun block and privacy. Due to cooler temps and rain, we didn't spend any time outdoors, but the deck, porch, and fire pit were inviting (would've been nice to have a working fireplace in the home). This is our sixth rental in Polk County/the area. It is top two.

An absolutely charming house surrounded with beautiful landscaping! We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and the big front porch swing. Our family had great fun tubing down the nearby Green River and visiting the shops and train museum in the quaint town of Saluda. We also experienced spectacular mountain views with opportunities in the area for hiking and sightseeing. We would not hesitate to come again!

This property fit our needs to the tee. The perfect arrangement of beds/rooms, pet friendly with direct access to the fenced in yard, lovely grounds, perfect location. The house is well located within a walkable distance to downtown Saluda. My husband enjoyed being able to get a breakfast treat while taking dogs for their morning walk. The grandchildren enjoyed the downtown playground and the ice cream that came afterward. We spent the week exploring the area. We hiked to waterfalls, went to children's museums, visited the equestrian center and checked out the many offerings in Asheville. We also spent time chilling at the house. It is roomier than it appears in the pictures. The house is charming. Please be aware that the main floor bath is in a bedroom and the upstairs bath has a tub, but no shower. It wasn't really a problem with 5 adults.
The host was great. She assisted us immediately with our problem of getting the door unlocked and treated us fairly with the small amount of pet damage we caused. We enjoyed our stay so much that we may be interested in retiring to this area.

We have been coming for years to Saluda for CDD and have recently started renting homes. This is our 4th one and we’re coming back next year. This home is so charming and has everything you need for a long weekend stay with your family. The kids loved the room with the twin amd double bed with the doll stitch, they told the doll, “Bye, see you next year!” Our favorite spot was the back porch, very peaceful. We had games to play and books for those readers. Using a code instead of keys was also helpful for coming and going during our stay. Mrs Tricia has thought of everything to make this home enjoyable so you won’t want to leave.

What a lovely home! We had a great stay in this charming house. It’s nicely decorated and comfortable. An easy place to entertain with a big kitchen and eating table. Also the outside porch and back yard are wonderful, too. An easy walk into “downtown” Saluda. Really a gem of a home!

We loved staying at the house. It was a short drive to Bradley Falls and a nice walk to downtown. We made pizzas, grilled and hung out on the porch for hours. It rained most of our visit, so we were so happy to be in a beautiful house with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We felt right at home. Thanks for a great weekend!

Farmhouse charm
Super comfortable & charming farmhouse with tons of room and seperate spaces as needed. The house is in a great location....excellent for walking and there are designated nature trails just down the street. The fenced area outside was perfect for our pups! The yard/grounds are filled with amazing plants & wildlife if that's your thing!

We really enjoyed our visit. Suggestions: take timers off lights,, put same info in binder that is in emails, put shower attachment to upstairs tub ( Noone can shower upstairs), there is no outside recycling bin, replace kids bed mattresses ( they are very hard)the memory foam on the adult beds were not comfortable.

Ideal location, clean, comfortable, and dog friendly!
The property is ideally located, clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the property is dog friendly with a nice fenced yard. It was also a really nice touch that the owner did not require us to strip beds and start laundry etc. before departure. We will definitely stay here again!
