About this house rental

Waikawa Bay is just around the corner from Picton but avoids the busy ferry terminal and railway. The house is a short walk (150m) from the beach and boat ramp and there is a childrens' playground there too. With four bedrooms and a bunk room for extra guests there is space for 10 at the house. The deck is on the first floor and has electric louvres and outdoor heaters so you can enjoy being outdoors whatever the weather. Other facilities include free wifi, Sky TV, dishwasher and laundry, heat on demand hot water so you shouldn't run out mid shower and plenty of space to park your cars and boat. The kitchen is spacious and has an island which leads to the lounge and dining area offering panoramic views over the bay. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom with shower and bath and a separate toilet. There is a deck off the lounge with a gas BBQ. Downstairs is another double bedroom, a bunk room and a second bathroom. Outside there is extensive parking for multiple cars and boats. The nearest shops are a 5 minute drive away and Picton is approx. 10 minutes. Lots of great walks surround Waikawa Bay and fishing from both boat and shore is productive.

We thoroughly enjoyed this home. The kitchen was generous space, especially when trying to feed two family’s. The enclosed deck was amazing and we spent our nights out there under the heaters even tho it was late June. The driveway was plenty big enough for two boats and cars. Not that we used it, but the outdoor shower was a great addition

This is the second time I have stayed at this holiday home and we enjoyed every minute of it. It is perfect for two families with the upstairs/downstairs configuration, and it has ample off-street parking for our boat. Would love to come again.

Nice place, really well thought out, with nice touches with big whanau, views and deck with heaters were a nice touch and downstairs has two bunk rooms with tvs and videos to keep kiddos entertained. But so does the wharf and playground at bottom of road. Would recommend this place

Absolutely loved staying here, the view is amazing. The house is perfect for large groups and the balcony is the perfect place to relax. The driveway also has a lot of room for boat parking. Will definitely be back

Great place to stay, heaps of room for everyone the deck was awesome but I felt the neighbours seem to not like the noise with the amount of people and kids the house accommodates, we had fun and enjoyed ourselves anyway

This house was ideal for our group - plenty of rooms, the little cubby for the kids under the stairs was a neat surprise! The views are amazing, Waikawa Bay is gorgeous, and the deck area was the icing on the cake to have a beer and wind down in the evening. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!!
