About this house rental
This property is conveniently located to enjoy all that the local area has to offer whilst also being in a quiet road with good access to public transport, and only 20 mins from the west end and central London
Peckham was recently voted the best place to live in London by the Sunday Times, and it is 'where it's at' as far as new cultural venues, restaurants and bars are concerned. This vibrant area is a melting pot of cultures from the achingly hip rooftop bars to the buzzing late night nail bars and hair salons, the area has it all!
This beautiful Victorian house has been completely renovated to a very high standard. The central point of the home is its fully fitted kitchen with Siemens appliances, including electric induction hob, double oven with microwave, and plate warmer plus a large american style fridge freezer with ice-maker, and a separate wine fridge.
The through reception room has a Victorian style coal-effect fire place in the front room and a wood burning stove in the rear room.
The house has walnut flooring throughout with underfloor heating in all of the ground floor rooms and in the bathrooms. All of the bedrooms have central heating radiators.
Each of the three bedrooms are beautifully appointed with quality beds, including a king-size bed in the main bedroom, and Egyptian cotton bedding is included within the price for each of the beds.
The main bathroom features a double ended bath and a lovely large corner shower unit. A further wet-room style shower room/toilet is available on the ground floor.
There is a beautiful garden at the rear of the house which is accessible through the bi-fold doors that can be fully opened to bring the outside in!
The property is situated just moment's away from a huge variety of exciting and interesting venues, restaurants, bars and cafes.
Frank's Campari Bar on the rooftop of the multi-story car park is a Peckham institution which brings in the crowds in the summer months for it's open-air bar with views over London.
The multi-story car park is also now host to Peckham's new addition, Peckham Levels, with a variety of bars and street-food vendors on a floor of the car park, as well as a yoga centre, and a host of artists and creative business.
Other local favourites are the roof-top cinema on the Bussey Building, Bellenden Road for it's laid-back cafe's, restaurants and bars, Rye Lane for its mixture of independent traders and new restaurants and cafes, Queens Road for more cafes and bars, and PeckhamPlex for the cheapest cinema seats in London!
The house is equidistant from three stations, Queens Road, Peckham Rye and Nunhead, each of which are around a 5 minute walk away. The London Overground East London Line gives quick and easy access to East and South West London as well as connecting quickly with the Jubilee Line and the West End & City. National Rail services give access to London Bridge in 8 minutes and Victoria in 10 minutes. There are loads of bus routes nearby serving all areas of London.
Please note that the proerty is in a quiet residential area and we are very mindful of maintaining good relations with our neighbours. As a consequence we don't permit parties or the playing of loud music which may disturb our neighbours. We kindly ask that you don't book our property if this is your intention.

Nice place to end our 3 week vacation. Quiet house outside of London. Nice size rooms, large kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Very relaxing and close to many train stations for flexibility getting into London.

We stayed here at the end of a European vacation. The place is spacious and my family was able to spread out nicely. It was cleaned and easy to check in. The best part of the house is the back wall open up completely allowing wonderful airflow. There is a friendly neighbor kitty that will greet you morning and afternoon. She was the highlight for my kids.

The property was fantastic. Clean and spacious and tastefully renovated, we lacked nothing. Loved the backyard. Quiet at night and great for sleeping. Easy walk to the overground and from there all locations were easily accessible. Lovely hosts. Would definitely return.

Good and exclusive location wich was very good for daily trips to London City via overground.
Not simple to find a free place for parking, but some car parks around.
Unfortunaly some dishes and equipment in the kitchen seems not very clean. But the rest was perfect.
We had some good days in London.

We stayed here for almost a week. The house was spotless, and the space was perfect for our group of 5. There is not anything I could think of that wasn't there. We went into London daily, a quick walk to the tube stop. Some nights, we took Uber back.
One Uber driver did tell us this was not the best part of town and to be careful. We did not experience anything that made us feel unsafe, and we walked through the city to stores and restaurants.
Andrew was excellent throughout the booking process and timely with his communication.
We enjoyed the neighborhood cat that would come in the backyard; our two teens traveling with us loved it.

The property had all items to make it a fantastic stay. The host informed us good and was even so friendly to change our check-in date because of some personal problems. Also the day we arrived we were able to check-in in the morning. The location is good to visit London Centre.
Thank you for letting us in your house!

A lovely property, close to the City, Battersea & Clapham.
There were a few small problems, but we managed without their use.

Great stay in Peckham area. The property is very clean, has all the equipments you need and is pretty quiet. The only thing - it is a bit far from London center. The easiest way to get ghere is to take the bus (a few of them go there) and they are all direct lines. Andrew the landlord is adorable and takes good care of you through your stay.

The family and I (2 adults, 13, 9) just spent 3 nights at this house and it was an amazing visit. The home is very updated, very clean, and has an accurate description. Andrew was an awesome contact, never having any issues with chats prior to and during our stay. We enjoyed the location because it provided a full home with 3 bedrooms, compared with a small hotel room in London city center, but close enough (Peckham) for an easy cab, Uber or train. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The property was very clean and tidy! Lots of kitchenware and huge kitchen. The washer and dryer were a nice feature too! The walk to the train station was quick and easy. Close to groceries as well! Definitely recommend.
Only “issue” was the street parking. It’s London so it’s super busy, we lucked out with a nearby spot!

We had a week at Peckham, Andrew was a communicative host and gave us plenty of information for the area and responded to queries. Handy to shops, the buses and overground rail. A quiet location and a very comfortable, modernised terrace house with a tantalising view of the London skyline at night from the back bedrooms.

We stayed here during the New Years weekend. The location was terrific - 10 min walk to nearest train station that landed you at the London Bridge station. The apartment was very warm and charming. Andrew was very responsive to any questions or problems.

We really enjoyed Andrew’s home and can tell the investment put in to modernize it. The kitchen is a dream and the home an easy Uber or train ride to London central. The immediate neighborhood is upcoming with many homes being revitalized.

We stayed for one month whilst visiting from Australia. Local to shops, overground rail, it was an amazing stay. We are intending to come back already. Only 10 minutes from central London, and so nice and quiet. Enough space for all of us.

I visited London w my two teen age sons. The house was immaculate and absolutely everything we needed was provided. We enjoyed the proximity to the tube which made it very easy to get around London. The host was very responsive to all questions and there was explicit directions provided at the house which answered any questions re use of house. The house provided enough room to relax and the back patio was a beautiful place for mornings and evenings. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. :)

This property is exceptionally well furnished and supplied with everything we needed for our 1-week stay--and much more. Communication with Andrew was also excellent; he gave us great tips for transportation options, restaurants in the area, and information about using the ultra-modern kitchen appliances. My questions were answered very quickly. Highly recommended! My only caution is in regard to the location--great area in general . However, overground train was not in operation either weekend we were there, so be prepared to use alternate transportation.

This was a great space that allowed us to experience a different part of London. The house was clean has everything we needed! Best of all was the attentiveness of Andrew. He was super responsive and all directions left were extremely thorough!

This property is very well appointed and allowed our family of five to have plenty of space. It is very well maintained and is quiet, clean and comfortable. Andrew’s communication was clear and prompt, making the whole process an enjoyable one. I would definitely recommend staying in this beautiful home.

We were very impressed with the quality of this property. There were more than sufficient dishes for 5 adults travelling together, and we couldn’t believe how the owners had anticipated virtually every need. The neighbour’s cat even jumped into the back garden a couple of times, for a visit. Having laundry facilities was also extremely helpful. The area is very convenient, while being outside of the hectic touristy areas - it was a quick walk to 3 different overground train stations, although we only used the Queens Road station. Transfers to the underground system were very easy, and London’s tap system is very convenient. We found a great pizza restaurant (400 Rabbits), and we had a really good Sunday lunch at the Waverley Inn, both within walking distance.

The property was in great condition. Parking in the area was a challenge. The neighborhood is very diverse and undergoing an interesting revitalization. We had great meals at the Peckham Bazaar twice. A great location to experience London as a middle class resident. Not the best location to tour the major sites of London.

We had a wonderful stay here!! Andrew was beyond accommodating for us and very helpful. He was always very responsive to any questions. The house was beautiful and very clean with all the necessities. We loved our stay and it was great to have some space after a day full of sightseeing. Easy access to overground train (short walk) Highly recommend!!

The location is very convenient, and the house is beautiful and well suited for a large group. The owners were fantastic with their communications, and they provided idiot-proof instructions for everything. It was a very enjoyable stay, and well worth the little bit of extra time it took to get into the central parts of the city.

A wonderful appartment, bright and beautiful, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Quiet neighbourhood, good location, close to next grocery store and bus/train station. Our teenagers loved this house and all of us enjoyed our stay very much.

Very comfortable accommodation and beautifully furnished. Fabulous kitchen. Near to Greenwich which we explored on Boxing Day and really enjoyed. Easy access to central London (when there aren't train strikes!). Andrew always on hand to answer queries.

The house was just as advertised.
Kitchen is big, beautiful and week equipped for anything you would ever want to do.
Living room is very cozy, especially if you turn on the fireplace. Nespresso is a great addition to the kitchen and the ability to do laundry was a plus.
Master bedroom was spacious and nice, but mattress itself was a little “springy”. All the other beds were great.
The location is in a quiet neighborhood about 20-30 minutes outside of Central London, which we planned on. Within walking distance you can find coffee, restaurants, pubs, pharmacy, etc. we had our young children with us so we opted for black cabs as our transportation of choice. Easy to get a cab in less than 5 minutes. We would definitely stay here again!
Andrew was so great with communicating, it’s always a breath of fresh air to feel safe at a Vrbo rental.

We had a lovely stay at Peckham Palace. It had everything we needed & once we worked out the heating, it was very pleasant.
The beds were very comfortable, the house was well appointed, clean & tidy & it had everything we needed.
Check in instructions were excellent (except more detail required for where & how to operate the heating mechanism).
It was about a 10 min walk to train & bus & easy to get to all main attractions.
It was a lovely house to stay in. Thank you.

I contacted the property owner for specific information to enter the property, and he responded promptly. He was very accommodating, providing information on local dining, sight seeing, and entertainment. The house is state of the art, with appliances, wonderful crockery, cutlery, and furnishings you see in high end dwellings. There is so much more I can add. My son said the bed was way too comfortable, I concur. If you want a warm and inviting home away from home. Please reserve this house.
