The property is close to the train station and easy access to the central city and cathedral.

endroit sur le chemin de compostelle
très rustique / mériterait un coup de neuf

Clean, friendly
Room was on the street and the traffic was loud. Ask for s room on the back side

The family that owns and operates this place is just the sweetest. They make it obvious that they care a lot about their guests and that they work very hard to make sure people are happy with what they have to offer. The rooms were cleaned well and the facilities work well. Overall, I would recommend a stay here but more than that I would recommend grabbing dinner in the restaurant downstairs. It was one of the best meals we had in Spain and more than you could ever ask for for a very reasonable price. The waiter was incredibly friendly and the owner made a point to come and talk to all the guests to make sure everything was to their satisfaction.
The bathrooms are a bit small but they work well and are clean. Overall it does not detract from the stay.

location is ok and the hotel is mostly functional and clean. the bar downstairs opens at 6 so you will have an option for an early breakfast
i could not fix the shower head and had to move it around to wash myself after having applied shower gel etc. very awkward. have heard from a fellow traveller that their toilet did not flush.
the shower cabin was also absolutely tiny and a bigger person would not fit in there

After a day of traveling the Camino, it was a welcome relief to have a safe place to sleep.
There is a quiet bar downstairs that serves food, including a breakfast the next morning. I did not eat there and am unsure if there was an extra cost. There is a supermarket right next door that is well stocked.
There did not seem to be any heat. However the heavy blanket kept me warm overnight. There was an unpleasant smell in the room.
The people working there don’t work well together. I desperately needed a drink. A man started to get it but stopped when another woman appeared. He did not relay the message. It was a small thing but it definitely felt like they did not care for their guests.

Nice and friendly welcome by the owner. Helpful with finding a place to eat. Good sent off in the morning. You get here what you pay for. 30+Euros for a double room. What do some people expect for this?
Bathroom very tiny.

This is a very good modest little room to stay in during my Camino walk.

Clean accommodation and pleasant service
Nothing to dislike for the price

We had two private rooms which provided much needed respite from the rain and exhausting first day on the Camino. It was nice to have our own rooms.
This is a hotel, on the Camino, in a town with not many accommodation choices if you want a private room. It is extremely old and hasn’t been updated since it was built. The bathrooms as infinitesimally tiny and I honestly would not recommend it for larger persons. The beds are saggy, and all the rooms open up to a center shaft so you can hear everyone and everything. BUT - if you want a private room - then just roll with it. I read all the reviews, and knew what I was reserving, and I would stay here again for sure if there was nothing at the one and only other hotel.

Nothing
I felt unwelcome ( as did another pilgrim that stayed there )
I wouldn’t stay there again if it were free.
I was told the bar opened at 7am but it wasn’t open at 7.20 am .

I was happy with my stay at hotel auto bar. good room perfect location and helpful staff

Nothing
The owner was very indifferent towards pilgrims, ever though they promote there place along the Camino. I was kept waiting for about 10 minutes just to check in, and then was questioned about having already paid.

location was great
lousy bed and linens. host said breakfast was at 0730 but was no where to be found at 0800
