It is in the centre of Bewdley. Very close to the shops and bars. You can have your breakfast outside sitting by the river, weather permitting.
Steep stairs, we were in room 5, which was a very pleasant room. Narrow corridor to the room, window overlooking the Retreat bar, so be prepared for noise. Take some earplugs, if you want to go to sleep earlier than 11.30.
Also no internet access in our room.

The river view & convenient location.
The shower was difficult to adjust & far too hot for comfort.
I was getting ready for a wedding & it was unbearably hot, really struggled to rinse hair off due to the temperature. I have reported this so hope it gets fixed.
Maintenance issues need fixing such as cracked window & dusty areas.

lovely view of the river
2nd night shower was stone cold and the same the following morning. £7 breakfast on the web site, charged £18.95 for 2.
Staircase up to room was steep and narrow and pitch dark until the top when the light sensor came on, very dangerous.

Lovely river view from the room. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
As the Courtyard is close to a local bar there was loud music until 1am both nights. This would probably discourage us from staying there over a weekend in the future.

Well located, beautiful view if the river.
The corridors are dark and it takes time for the lights to come on

lovely and clean and comfortable.
we had a deluxe room with a small balcony but didn’t have a view of the river. our friends who booked a normal room had a river view. had to ask for hairdryer.

Location was great, right by the bridge (worth a walk along the river), & close to the centre. We had drinks & dinner there the first night, very good food & a friendly atmosphere. The soft furnishings in the room all seemed new, & the bed was very comfy. Parking isn't available on site (as with most of Bewdley I think) but the car park at the end of the road is reasonably priced & an easy walk.
The room shape meant it was a little tight for space in places - enough room but not spacious. And another accessible socket each side of the bed would be useful, as would a bin in the bathroom.

clean and good value for money
A mirror in the room would have been helpful and a extra pillow

Central location
very noisy especially the bar next door cleaning tables with a hose at 5 am and having deliveries not long after

Loved the location and the staff. Lovely room with a balcony. The food and breakfast was stunning. Nothing was too much of a problem for the staff and they were very helpful and friendly.
Would have been nice to have coffee and tea replenished for 2 night.
A mirror with clear light for doing make up would also be nice. Plenty of light and mirrors just the one for doing make up was under the TV so a little awkward.
