I loved the cabin. It is small but with a suprising amount of storage. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bed was really comfortable. Best of all, the location is perfect for all that Boulder has to offer, and no need for a car. My most memorable day was when a mama bear and two cubs showed up in the back yard to enjoy the fruit trees.

We had a wonderful month staying in Tam and John's cabin. It is a cosy space with lots of character, and despite being centrally located close to plenty of amenities, it feels secluded and private. The cabin is surrounded by greenery and you won't notice that there are any neighbours. It is well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay.
The cabin is well shaded by the surrounding vegetation, and because of this it is better than most places at staying cool in the heat of summer. There is an AC unit if it gets too hot, but we rarely used this on a stay from mid-June to mid-July.
As well as the proximity of city centre highlights like Pearl Street, the cabin is only blocks away from the base of Mount Sanitas and makes a perfect base if you want to explore the local trails.
We would love to stay at Tam and John's place again!

Spent the last month of my medical leave recovering from long COVID at this perfect little cabin. It was exactly what I was looking for in terms of a peaceful retreat. The front and back yard offer the most tranquil, green views of the surrounding landscape. While you feel you're eons away from "the noise" of the world, you can find within walking distance Ideal Market (Whole Foods), many great restaurants, bike paths, a community-oriented urban farm, and the amazing North Boulder rec center. Tam and John were so welcoming and concerned about making sure we were comfortable. There was everything one could need in the cabin, and there were enough separate rooms for two or more people to be able to have their own space when needed. We really appreciated learning the history of the cabin and would very much like to return to enjoy it again in the near future. Thank you Tam and John for sharing your special space with others - we really treasured our time there.
