This perfect oasis offers many custom features including all hardwood floors, vaulted wood ceiling, extensive cabinetry, comfortable reclining sofa furniture, flat screen T.V. (including Direct TV), WiFi, fully stocked kitchen (including dishwasher), indoor & outdoor tables for dining, ceiling fans in every room, walk-in shower & a private washer and dryer. Each bedroom offers queen beds, a double door closet & plenty of space so you can really feel at home.
This rare, new single family home comes with screened, double-pane windows for a majestic ocean view and possible dolphin sightings! There are multiple private outdoor seating options, private 3-burner propane grill & secure private brick stone driveway offering parking for three vehicles. Fenced in yard and very private, the driveway has a gate that you can close.
This is the home you need for your vacation! It's located in a charming beach town that offers restaurants, shopping, markets, post office, gas station, convenience stores & a new full court basketball and tennis at the Summerland school during (none) school hours for your use, all within walking distance. We enjoyed our three nights at this property in The charming beach town of Summerland. It was a an excellent base for exploring, not only Santa Barbara, but other beach towns. It was comfortable and within walking distance of restaurants and a small grocery store. We had a great time.

This home was perfect for my wife and I to celebrate 29 years of marriage! the coastal breezes were so amazing at cooling and the views of the ocean were calming! everything worked great and we had a terrific time! We look forward to returning in the coming months. I recommend this home fully!

Where to begin? We had a great time at this beautiful house for so many reasons: The hosts have been very kind regarding a change we had to make to our booking and were very accommodating. The house is in a great location and besides the ocean view you are at the parking lot in 10 minutes or less and you can walk from there to downtown. The house is very clean and has some very nice aspects including super comfy recliner chairs. Everything was as the ad says and we are so grateful for our time there.

We needed a quiet get away during a stressful time for our family. This unit was perfect, set in the little town of Summerland by the sea. It boasts a partial view of the ocean, comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen and awesome big TVs. The neighborhood is quaint and very quiet as well.
Our hosts were practically invisible, allowing us perfect
privacy while still being very responsive to any questions we had.

Clean and well put together cottage with everything needed for a few days stay. Garden/patio areas are a bonus we didn’t really expect. In the yard I Spent time reading and having morning coffee without having to share a spot with thousands of other visitors. Sublime.

It is not far from 101, so we were concerned about road noise, but was not an issue either in bedrooms or in the outdoor area.
We were out during the day, and the unit was a bit warm when we returned in the evening, but cooled off quickly with open windows and fans.

This cottage is a great find in a beautiful location. Well stocked with kitchen items including pots and pans, and filtered water for drinking! Great shower with lots of hot water and towels. The space is private and quiet, clean, and well located for fun in Summerland and Santa Barbara. We made several Central Coast trips using the Double Dolphin as our HQ. Our hosts Rick and Debby were so accommodating - answered the few questions we had quickly. Hope to be back at some point.

The hosts have created the perfect getaway. Everything you need to enjoy the Santa Barbara area was available, and the hosts were friendly and very helpful and responsive. The home is gorgeous and very clean, and we enjoyed breakfasting with the ocean view and hummingbirds enjoying flowers outside the window. Dinner in the private patio out back was ideal. Rick and Debbies place was very nice. It was very well stocked with everything we needed. The direction and ease of checking in were completely hassle free. The bed was very comfortable and it was tucked away so we left the sliding bedroom door open while we slept. It is a short walk from the Double Dolphin down to a great beach with lots of driftwood. The only drawback was the spotty internet. We had a few problems getting online or would lose service but it was a minor problem because we wanted a quiet weekend. For that it was perfect. we would definitely book it again for a weekend get away.

The inside is very homey, almost retro and fully equipped. The outside has a lot of comfortable seating and is decorated nicely.
We walked to the beach (about .5 mile) and enjoyed watching the dolphins and sea lions. The town has a very chill vibe - quiet, friendly, with a few good restaurants.
We took the 5 minute drive to Santa Clause beach for the day and really loved it - more dolphins!
50 minutes away is Solvang - a Danish town that transports you into a Christmas Hallmark movie.
The hosts are excellent! Communication was easy. The home itself exceeded expectations.
Summerland is located perfectly in that you can be as busy as you want to be or not and be perfectly content.

We booked our trip last minute and all I can say was that it was everything that you would want in a vacation rental. Especially with young kids. The house is in a great location with a wonderful view. The little downtown area is a short walk away.

Girls trip getaway! Loved having so much near the home! Beach was a couple miles away, the nugget restaurant walking distance which was good and atmosphere was great. We took an uber to santa barbara, enjoyed dinner, comedy show and an Irish pub. Fun times were had. The home had everything we needed for our weekend. Beds were comfortable, plenty of seating, ceiling fans came in handy as it was a bit warm. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Thank you for sharing your home!
