The view was great. The kitchen was fine but there could have been basic seasonings provided. There was salt but no pepper. The property manager never responded to my question about EV charging. Overall it was a decent place to stay for a weekend. Summerland is a nice quiet community close to Santa Barbara and Carpinteria.

Enjoyed the ocean view the most. Loved the town and it's residents. The unit had all we needed, except toilet paper and paper towels.

I had a great time during my stay. The view from the house to the ocean is beautiful. It is noisy if you are outside but get used to it. The neighborhood is quiet. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped to cook. Vacasa was great at getting back to me with all questions and requests we had.

This place was super clean, had tons of times, had nice linens, wonderful kitchen. The best part was sitting on the deck, looking at the ocean ocean across the freeway, but the view was lovely.

Love the location, walking distance to the park and beach, restaurants, and shops. Had a wonderful time… Close to many key attractions, I hope to return again sometime soon.

The place is a great location with a gorgeous view. Loud freeway noise and old decor are the only limiting factors. The location is close to shops/restaurants/summerland town and beach access. We enjoyed our short stay to visit our son at camp for the weekend and loved being able to bring our puppy. The washer and dryer were super helpful to wash his camp clothes.

The house has everything you need, even if it is a little dated. Super nice spot to have breakfast and hang out and watch the ocean.

For a simple 2 night stay to assist our daughter with returning home from college, this location was exactly the price and spot that we needed. Thank you for sharing this space!

The price is right for this unit, great view of the ocean and nice living room to enjoy it. The place is definitely rundown, but I think you get the benefit of the price in this area of Santa Barbara so it’s worth it if you’re on a budget.

Cute, spacious, and amazing view of the ocean

This property does have a great view, that’s the good news.
It is mentioned in the listing, but the traffic noise is constant and so loud you really can’t enjoy being outside. Also mentioned in the listing, there is no AC.
Not too bad in February but I can’t imagine being here in the summer.
The place needs work.
Kitchen cabinet drawers and doors are all falling off.
Refrigerator door is missing all the brackets making it impossible to store anything on the door.
Interior front door knob is about to fall off.
Bathroom tub trim is falling off.
It would have been nice to know the provided “coffee maker” is a Keurig.
There were no Keurig Pods left so we had no coffee the first morning.
We messaged the owner informing them we had to leave 2 days early due to my wife’’s 97 year old mother’s health emergency.
No response, none.

I had an incredible stay at this Vrbo property! The comfort, cleanliness, and breathtaking views made it the perfect getaway spot. It's conveniently located just minutes from Santa Barbara, yet the peaceful atmosphere was exactly what I needed. This place had everything I could ask for in a vacation rental.

The accommodation is very nice. Will return in the future.

The location of this apartment was good, in terms that you can walk to the quaint little town of Summerland. As it mentions in the description, you can hear the freeway and when you open the patio door or window, it is very loud. The apartment has a sweet smell that is still there even if you air it really well. It had been properly cleaned before we arrived. However it is very outdated and could be nicer with even minor decor and or furniture upgrades.

Access to 101 and views of ocean and Channel Islands.

Pros: great location, great view, clean.
Cons: beds are springy, bouncy, uncomfortable.
Overall an enjoyable stay.

Loved waking up to the ocean out the large windows. There is a freeway in the way but you tend to overlook that after awhile. Nice host. Easy check in process

No AC which wasn’t mentioned in description of rental. Not able to use kitchen do to ants on counters, stove, walls and inside cabinets. Not given instructions on how to find washer and dryer outdoors until complained I couldn’t find it. Bed in one room on floor unstable on one side. Beach not walkable as described. Asked to check out next day and get refund for rest of days due to misrepresentation of rental. Told I could check out but chances of refund slim after numerous calls manger called next day. Brought ant spray, few washcloths and ironing board cover. Not very clean. Horrible experience

Loved our stay. The beach was down the street and our view was amazing. I'm glad there was a washer and drier available for after our beach day. Thank you.

The entire unit smelled of pet urine. The carpet had multiple urine stains. The furniture is updated from the photos, however it wasn't particularly clean due to urine smells.

Super clean, views were amazing! Quaint beautiful town! We were a short walk to coffee and the beach (the staples of life, haha). Ten minutes from Santa Barbara and 45 from Los Olivos made the location even that much better! My sister and I absolutely loved our stay!

Great Rental for a Weekend Getaway
Took a long weekend trip to SB for my hubby’s birthday with our small dog. This rental was clean, modern (furniture’s been updated since the photos in the listing), and a really convenient location. It is walking distance to the (leashed) dog friendly park and beach, Summerland winery, a pub and a pizza place. The drive to the SB Funk Zone/pier/downtown was less than 10-min and there’s a parking garage there so no trouble finding parking. The view from the balcony is gorgeous and we definitely hope to return soon!
