Hyvä sijainti. Mukava henkilökunta. Pienet, mutta mukavat ja siistit huoneet.
Hotelli vastasi täysin meidän lyhyen matkan tarpeisiin.

Welcoming hosts and very good Chinese restaurant on the first floor of the hotel (good portion and not so expensive).
Thin walls

In the centre, so only a short (very cold!) walk to restaurants, but most closed on a Monday night!
The description of a 'wooden' hotel and 'oldest building' led me to expect some charm - but there was none.
Reception closed all morning till 12.

De locatie was prima, je zat zo in het centrum
Het matras, maar ieder zijn voorkeur.
3.2
I liked the community kitchen - it meant I could make my own meals.
The hotel is also well located near the centre of town.
Sometimes I could hear the loud voices of the people next door quite late at night.

Restaurant very good
Breakfast cost 100 NOK not 95 as stated at Booking. They said they had nothing to do with Booking.com.

The Hotel is central in the city. It is acceptable for one night. You have a small kitchen for selfcatering available. In the same building is a chinese restorant.
It is not very clean, the room itself was clean. It is a little bit run down.

Location
Terrible hotel. The worst what happened I payed for breakfast (~8eur) and there were two expired products, see the photo (I stayed in mid June 2023)! I brought it to reception, the receptionist took it and just left, without saying sorry or giving a new.
The room was pretty old, the bathroom needs a proper cleaning. Since it doesn’t get dark when summer time, it was pretty bright in the room all the time because curtains ara very thin and orange colour.
There are much more negative things to add and I only stayed for a night. I would definitely pay more and stay in other hotels next time.

Location is really central. It was quiet
I had to ring by phone and wait to check in. It was not very clean (toilet in a room had signs of someone else's use). Generally very outdated and old. Was promised free coffee, but machine didn't work. Me and other quests tried to use it few times, some of them even tried to call (since it was no one on reception). It did not help
3.2
No breakfast included, but close proximity to local cafes - max 5 minutes walk
Nothing major to complain about. Reception manned from 1pm only - just needed to be aware, but I was not impacted by this
3.2
the facility is old and obviously in need for much work and repair , bed is uncomfortable , doors are damaged , the shower is terrible, The shampoo and soap is beyond terrible, it was very low value for the money.
3.2
price
shabby hotel , got what you paid for
3.2
The survey question about value for money really got me thinking. Was it adequate, or was it still a ripoff in relation to the standard? Did the hotel meet my expectations? I honestly don't know. I was happy I didn't spend my fortune there and that I had an independent bathroom. But I would probably choose a different hotel next time.
It is a cheap place. Cheap in both meanings of that word.
A. Good to know: the entrance is hard to find. Google maps will show you a facade that belongs to a dental clinic. The ladies there were super pleasant to give yet another traveller directions for the 1562448th time. There is a sign, yet on the neighboring building (Dr Wessels 1). Just google for directions to Shanghai restaurant instead.
B. Overall condition of the facility is mediocre. I don't agree with other reviewers in that it wasn't clean (I actually did see a guy cleaning, very committed to his work) - it just needs much better maintenance.
C. The room door latch was wobbling, not giving you a sense of door being properly closed, the water outlets were sprinkling water in all possible directions. The furniture as well as the shared kitchen utensils seemed to have been taken from someone's home as not needed anymore. The night lamp was about to fall apart, barely giving any usable light, installed at a very impractical height (touching your head). Soap dispensers were empty. The confirmation email said that the room had "a electric kettle" but this wasn't true. There was a shared kettle in the kitchen instead.
D. In the single room, the bed was about 90cm wide, if not less. The top part of the mattress was unbearably soft and was sliding off the base during the night.
E. For sensitive people: be prepared to hear voices from other rooms (talking on the phone) and to smell Shanghai restaurant cooking all around.
3.2
Location. Near the bus stop and near shopping mall.
The bathroom is dirty. The walls on the bathroom so dirty.
3.2
Near Amfi
There is not even tv

Strategic position in the center of Kirkenes, near a mall where you can find a cafè. Talented and expert taxi driver associated to the hotel (thanks!). Comfy room with very good bed. Extremely convinient price.
3.2
Location is quite good.
Room has own toilet and shower.
It was warm and possible to adjust room's temperature
It looks like they never ever brushed stairs, it was visibly dirty. Furniture and surfaces at the room quite old and have scratches. There's a lot of mould at shower. Nobody cares.
Entrance to hotel is hidden, no info about it, I walked around with luggage before found out the entrance which is on parallel street, it was quite demanding.
3.2
location is ok
smell was really bad in room, and honestly room looks dirty. staff didn’t help with a heavy baggage, so we lifted to the second floor ourselves
3.2
Everything was very good.
