About this house rental
Lovely 4 bedroom house (can sleep up to 7) on a quiet residential street.
Ideal for contractors, business travellers, tourists, or a family.
Close proximity to Oxford Science Park, easy access to the Oxford BMW mini Plant, M40 and A34.
The property has wooden flooring throughout except on the stairs.
Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher.
Small electrical appliances.
Ground floor cloakroom.
First floor shower room.
Netflix.
Off street parking for 2 vehicles.
This lovely house consists of 3 double bedrooms with Super King Beds which can be converted into twin beds on request and one single bedroom on the first floor. There is a laptop friendly work space in most bedrooms with a chair. There is a tv in the living area with Netflix and very fast broadband along with a sofa. The kitchen area is equipped with a dishwasher, under counter fridge, lots of kitchen utensils and all the crockery and cutlery that you will need during your stay for everyday cooking. There is a dining table with 4 chairs. In the utility area there is a washing machine along with a ground floor cloakroom. The house is double glazed and centrally heated with gas radiators. There are 3 double bedrooms with Super King Beds which can be converted into twin beds on request and one single bedroom on the first floor. There is a laptop friendly work space in most bedrooms with a chair. The property has a nice rear garden with a glass table and 4 chairs and off street parking for 2 cars.
You have access to the entire property.
We give our guests space, but, are available when needed. A member of the team is locally based and will be available during your stay to help with any questions.
The neighbourhood is very quite. With short drive and you can be at the following supermarkets, Sainsburys, Tesco, M&S Foodhall, Co-op, Aldi or Lidl. Easy access to the M40 and A34. The Oxford Science Park, The Kassam Stadium and the Oxford BMW Mini Plant are within walking distance from the property.
If you are up for a whim to find something to do, Hollywood Bowl Oxford (5 minutes away) is a Chain tenpin bowling alley with an on-site snack bar, party deals, pool tables and arcade machines.
If a walk to the open meadow or an amble through the trees is something you like, Harcourt Arboretum (University of Oxford) (7 minutes away) is a great place to experience nature. They are happy for you to bring picnics, and there are picnic benches and good toilet facilities.
There is parking on the driveway for 2 vehicles and lots of free on street parking. The Bus Stop with regular buses into Oxford City Centre is a short walk from the property.

Better than a hotel
The house was very nice but we found the living and kitchen area a bit small. There were four of us. Three of the bedrooms were generously sized with one small one. If seven people were staying the living area would be very cramped. The photos give an accurate picture. The location was fine a little way out of the city centre but the roads in Oxford are busy so travelling is a bit time consuming. Definately better than a hotel. We would stay again.

Clean and spacious
We stayed in this flat for 10 days while working in oxford. David and Velma were really nice and very accommodating. The flat is large and well lit, with a well stocked kitchen. My kids enjoyed the backyard. This is not all that near downtown but buses are regular. Local pubs and grocers were ok...much better downtown.
