Is this your kind of holiday? Maybe we can tell you why we like Villa To Kyma and it's location in Stoupa so much. We wanted to be somewhere where we could experience the feeling of freedom and authenticity. Being in an olive grove in a house built of natural stone was a good start. The view added the final touch. Of course we also wanted to enjoy some of the village life without sitting in a car too long. The beach is close by. Our children are teenagers and they can go to the beach and into town on their own. We like Stoupa, and also Agios Nikolaos, for the scenery and the friendly Greek people, especially to children. The towns are lively. They attract families, sun lovers, hikers, pensioners etc from various nationalities, including Greeks themselves. English is spoken everywhere in Stoupa. We have tried to equip the villa in such a way as to make your holiday enjoyable and to make you feel at home. And we are very interested in hearing your reactions!
The villa is listed with the Greek National Tourist Organisation: MHTE 1249K91000268501.

We thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight in the villa. It's very comfortable, excellent air-conditioning in the bedrooms, lots of lovely places to sit and relax by the pool or on the balcony. Pool is a good size - big enough for teenagers to swim and enjoy themselves. There was lots of useful information in the villa and tips for interesting days out. We particularly enjoyed exploring and eating in the mountain villages. Sonia was very easy to communicate with and full of advice. We'd love to come back!

Villa To Kyma is a very nice two stories house and can easily accommodate 6 people.
We passed a wonderful week in the house and in Stoupa. The house is placed next to a beautiful olive plantation and is very private. The pool is fantastic, and kept very clean. Our daughters and we spent quite a lot of time there :) In the evenings, we very much enjoyed watching spectacular sunsets over Stoupa, with a view of the sea and the mountains, from the balcony. The location is very convenient, only a few minutes drive from "downtown" Stoupa with its beaches, cafés and restaurants.
Sonia is the greatest of hosts, always taking time to answer any questions one might have or advise on things to do in the area and beyond. I don't think we would have discovered as much of the area and gotten as much out of our trip without her suggestions.
To summarise, we would warmly recommend Villa To Kyma if you are looking to rent a house in Stoupa.

We have been renting villas for over 15 years and this is on the top rate for us.
We Enjoy the condition of the house based on the condition of the house, the interior outside and inside. Well equipped kitchen ( We enjoy cooking food), its perfectly located and was no distrubance from neighbours, the pool was in excellent condition and Sonia was so sweet and welcoming. We love doing activity based vacation in mix with Good beach and all her tips for activities was perfect!
Love to come again!

We had an absolutely delightful week at the Villa. The property and the house are very charming; after a hot exploring the villa was a little oasis of calm and beauty. The views from the balcony in the morning made it hard to leave! The house is decorated in a very warm style--it is not all from Ikea like so many other rental houses! I cannot recommend it enough. Sonia provided so many resources at the house of things to do in the area we easily could have stayed another week.

We stayed for 2 weeks in the villa and everything was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped and the pool was perfect. On the terrace you find the whole day places in the shadow or in the sun. We really enjoyed our stay and we can recommend this villa

The villa is glorious, peaceful, beautifully situated with sea views from the upstairs balcony. If feels like a real home away from home (with a frequently visiting cat to feed!) and the pool was just divine. Plenty of interesting sites to visit and wonderful choice of dining experiences. An absolutely joy!

A top property, well-equipped, well-loved with everything in working order. A good-size pool (and a daily unobtrusive check) was a popular item, even though the weather and water was a tad cool. Set in olive groves with the nearest neighbour way out of sight children could scream in the pool without disturbing anyone. With a lovely village and beach just a short walk away and places to visit without spending hours in the car, this is a top spot for a family holiday.

Communication was unbelievably quick and responsive. Property was extremely well stocked and provided great resources on things to do locally. Everything was as advertised and as per photos and better. The house and pool were immaculate. Many great beaches were nearby and restaurants in Kardymili were varied and quite inexpensive. This is a great base to tour the Mani and lower peninsula. I recommend a small car the driving up into the mountain villages. People were most friendly and glad to see tourists. The appointments inside and outside the house were unique and very well though out. Views from the upstairs patio were expansive and sundowns were magnificent. Great supermarkets, gas stations etc all very close by. Your could not find a better house in this area.

Lovely villa in a great location
We really enjoyed our stay at To Kyma and loved the Mani. The villa is really private and has every facility for a really enjoyable holiday. The pool was superb. The owner was really helpful and informative and the welcome pack and all the little touches provided were very much appreciated. There are so many places to visit in the Mani. We especially loved Areopoli, Itylo, Kastania, Vathia and will be back to explore more. Stoupa was a bit too crowded for us but we enjoyed the beach at the far southern end and the toasted baguettes at the self service little cafe were great.

We’re a family of four with grown-up children (20 and 18), just back from a wonderful week at Villa To Kyma.
The property is set in beautiful gardens with a stunning pool area. The interior is homely and comfortable, with stylish and original decorative touches. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. From the upstairs balcony the views are amazing at any time, but particularly in the evening as the sun sets over the Messenian peninsula.
One thing I would say worth a special mention is the wealth of information on a huge variety of topics, provided in the property; most of it personally collected or produced by the owners. This provided inspiration and practical guidance to really help us get the most from our holiday. Sonia also provided additional information and ideas by personal email. It’s clear that she and her family have a great passion for and knowledge of the area.
It was our first trip to the Mani, and we fell in love with it - we’re already plotting how we can get back there as soon as possible. The combination of beautiful coastline, picturesque villages, historical sites and a rugged, spectacular inland mountain landscape makes for a great combination. In one of the many highlights of our trip, my son and I got up early to avoid the heat and went for an unforgettable hike and scramble round the stunning Viros Gorge. Within an hour in any direction you can reach a hugely varied area with natural beauty and historical sites. The setting and surroundings of the villa with its wonderful garden and pool also mean that you can of course simply stay put and relax!
The villa is also situated really well to enjoy local beach / taverna life. It’s about a 15 minute walk into Stoupa, a lively resort with a wide range of tavernas and restaurants. Within a couple of minutes drive you can reach a superb supermarket and bakery. About 10 minutes drive takes you to Agios Nikolaos, a lovely fishing village, or in the opposite direction, charming and genteel Kardamyli.
All in all would recommend without hesitation.
Thanks again Sonia, we had a fantastic and memorable family holiday.
Jonathan, Rachael, Holly and George Cook.

You are in for a treat!
We had a wonderful holiday at this beautiful villa. It is set in a pretty olive grove. Very private garden/pool area. The villa is spacious and has wonderful views to the sea! (It is about 15/20 minute walk into the village of Stoupa. It is the perfect position to explore the coast around this area. Many little beaches with crystal clear water, and so many Tavernas, and restaurants nearby. We had a fantastic week here! And has a very special feel - home from home - you will be pleased you came here!!
All the best - Felicity

Lovely rustic villa in beautiful olive grove setting
We had a super holiday, the villa and pool are fab, villa is full of character. Stoupa beaches are lovely. Stoupa itself is not too spoilt, but still plenty of good tavernas and bars, average age of holidaymaker is quite high in September, maybe not too much nightlife for the youngsters!

We had a wonderful hot week here. A first visit to the area for us but not the last. The villa was lovely- great pool, lovely location and wonderful views from the first floor balcony over the sea and the coastline- great sunsets. Stoupa is a gem- lovely resort with plentiful restaurants and good for vegetarians- always something on the menu. The staff at all local restaurants were very friendly and helpful. The beach at Kalogria is wonderful, crystal clear water. The guide books say that the water is cold because of being fed by natural cold springs but if you are used to swimming in the UK coastal waters as we are, it is certainly not cold. It felt very safe to swim at Kalogria and the views back to the mountains from the sea are truly stunning. A lovely area- there was so much to do and see but since it was so hot we mostly stayed local. There were many very helpful books on Greece and the area in the villa. The villa itself is very private and peaceful (once you have mentally tuned out from the sound of the cicadas) and is thoroughly recommended. We would certainly love to return.

We visited for 10 days in April and had the pleasure of great weather, sunny but not too hot, and not too busy so we were able to enjoy the areas great hiking, biking and beaches in perfect conditions.
People of this area are extraordinarily welcoming and one reason why we had such a delightful time.
The villa itself was perfect for us and our two teenagers with plenty of room inside and out for everyone to chill out, but cosy in evening around the open fire as it was quite cool in the evenings. It was a wonderfully relaxing 10 days and we'd highly recommend both the villa and the area.

Our stay at Villa To Kyma
We were not disappointed in this Villa. Everything was perfect. The outside area and surrounding olive grove was stunning, as was the swimming pool - much enjoyed by our two grandchildren. We were very impressed by all the detailed information provided both before our stay and in the Villa by Sonia, the owner. She covered everything we needed. Stoupa is a really lovely place very family orientated and hopefully we will return again. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Villa.

Absolutely wonderful Villa enjoyed by all of the family
Just returned from a two week family break at Villa to Kyma which was absolutely fantastic. The Villa has everything you would wish for and suitably sized for four adults and two children aged 15 and 10, with fantastic views towards Stoupa/Sea. The outside is also very spacious with a reasonably sized pool which was excessively used by all.
A steady 15 minute walk away will take you to Stoupa Boulevard where there are ample of restaurants and bars to choose from. The sea is shallow for approximately 10 meters and then rapidly drops. Two Sun beds and one parasol will cost 7 euros but comes with waiter service for food and drinks which is reasonably priced.
A short drive away c.4 km is the beautiful fishing village of Agios Nikolaos where we visited a number of times for lunch along the Port.
A big thank you to Sonia who was always at hand to answer any questions and advise on suitable car hire.
A truly memorable holiday...

Rustic and great location
This was our first time to Greece and when we arrived at the villa it was better than the photographs. Opening the 'wave' gates you are greeted by a rustic, traditional stone built villa with a lot of charm. The villa had all the amenities required and was in a great location being approximately 20 minutes walk down into Stoupa. Stoupa itself is a wonderful town/village with a horseshoe bay and an abundance of restaurants and cafe bars. The coastal walk to Agios Nikolaos was beautiful and Agios itself is a wonderful little harbour. Vesuvius restaurant is well worth a visit. We tried several of the restaurants in Stoupa and all were very similar, with a good varied menu although fresh fish appeared a little short on supply. Would highly recommend here if you want somewhere quiet and the villa is an excellent way to spend your days relaxing in the sun by the pool with a nice cold drink.
Many thanks to Soniar for her hospitality and communication throughout.

Excellent Villa, fully equipped and clean. Amazing
Excellent Villa, fully equipped and very clean. Amazing views from the balcony. Amazing pool, the best we have had on any holiday. The kids loved it. A 20 minute walk to Stoupa beach and Taverna's. Not the best road with younger children to walk down although there is a safer route which is great to use during the day across the olive grove behind the villa. We used the local taxi company which was reliable and cheap as we did not hire a car. We visited other villages using the taxi service too. Lots to see in the area and Sonia has lots of information and helpful advice at hand. Stoupa has many excellent restaurants. A wonderful place for families with a safe beach. Everyone was friendly. The vibe is very laid back, just what we were looking for. Will definitely return.

Fabulous villa!!!
Fabulous villa, just as lovely as photos. Beautiful villa with stunning views of mountains and sea, especially stunning views from upper balcony and so peaceful. Very well equipped, lovely decor. Lovely outdoor dining space with plenty of outdoor furniture and lovely pool, lit at night and kept spotlessly clean. We didn't have a car but managed the walk to beach and supermarket about 15 minutes each way for both. Supermarket delivers and gives you lift back too. This is one of the best villas we have stayed in and we will definitely return.

Excellent property. Can't wait to return!
This was the perfect property for our family of 5 (including 3 children under 9). Excellently maintained, extremely well appointed, beautiful setting with stunning views and ideal location to visit Stoupa and Agios Nikolaos daily. We totally fell in love with both the villa and the area.

Superb, sun-soaked and scenic villa in Stoupa
This was our second stay at Villa to Kyma. We fell even more in love with the villa and the unbelievably lovely seaside village of Stoupa.
Our second trip to Stoupa uncovered more hidden gems in the town and allowed us to further explore the surrounding towns and beaches. You could easily spend a month here and be left wanting more.
The villa is fantastic with everything you could want. The pool is kept in perfect condition and Sonia was once again responsive, enthusiastic and helpful.
I am already looking forward to our trip next year.

Beautiful house
We stayed 2 weeks in villa to Kyma and it was fantastic. The house is very comfortable and the pool is great. Our grown up children stayed for 10 days with us and they also had a great time.
Having a drink at Enigma later in the evening was a goes place for them. I walked every morning to the bakery (30 minutes in total to get back to the house)
The porch upstairs is a great to sit in the evening, watch the sunset and have a late drink.
We walked to Stoupa when we went to the restaurants, but the dinners at the large outdoor table were also great.
The coast path to Agios Nikolaos is good for walking but also for them who want to run.
We hiked a lot in the nearby area, also Kardamili. We visited the caves of Pirgos Dirou and went to Gythio. Renting a canoe at Stoupa beach is also nice. Before we came to Stoupa we travelled around at Athens and the Peloponnesus.
To Kyma was a great place to relax for all of us.

Very successful stay in July
This is a beautifully presented villa which is extremely well equipped and very comfortable. It met all our needs and more, particularly as the garden and pool area is generously laid out among well established flowering shrubs and olive trees. The pool itself was one of the best we have had in a rental villa. The house is set within olive groves and so from the garden all you can see are olive trees and flowers. From the upstairs bedroom balcony there is a fantastic panoramic view across the villages and to the sea. Wonderful for the famous Stoupa sunsets. The owner was keen to answer any and all of my questions before we travelled and there was plenty of information at the villa and someone to contact in case of emergencies or indeed generally. Our holiday was a summer one, beach and relaxation after a short tour of Epidaurus and Mystras. You will find plenty of good restaurants to choose from in Stoupa and the surrounding villages, which are just a very short drive away. I would recommend this villa to a friend and also hope to return one day.

Amazing house in an amazing location
We had the great pleasure of staying at Villa to Kyma at the end of May. Our party included 2 young children who absolutely loved the house and the local beaches, cafés and the easily climbable hill.
The facilities at the villa were top notch, the pool is great, the view from the up stairs room was just lovely.
Sonia, the owner of the villa, was exceedingly helpful and responsive to emails and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay at her fantastic house.

Better than expected
We are a family of four and the house was perfect for us.
Very clean and well maintained and a beautiful location. The home is relatively new and comfortably furnished.
Easy to get to and convenient to charming towns beaches, markets, etc.
The owner and onsite staff were friendly and professional.
All went as planned.

Secluded, spacious and tasteful villa
This was a rare trip abroad for our family of 3 children between the ages of 12 and 7 and 2 adults. We drove from Athens which we found very easy and we had a wonderful time. Communications from Sonja are excellent prior to your arrival. When you are there Adrian is very helpful if you need anything else. The location is fantastic, just a 10/15 minute walk to the beach, we loved both Stoupa and Kalogria. Great base for exploring the mountain villages also. The villa is beautiful, well organised and very clean. All you need seems to be there. (I would warn you though that the pool is not heated which off season is chilly - didn't stop the children though! However in the summer would be a godsend for relief from the heat I imagine) The villa stands in lovely grounds with views of olive groves and is private yet only a ten minute walk from Stoupa with it's shops and beach. I can thoroughly recommend this villa and would love to go back one day. Thank you Sonja for a lovely stay. Best wishes
