This property's seclusion is excellent. There is a lot of wildlife on land and water. However, as the owner will state, this property is not right for everyone. Read the reviews. The reviews do not cover what I am listing below. I debated not even rating it. Things not described in the listing: 1) External cameras everywhere. They are very overt and make you feel uncomfortable. I do see a need for some sort of camera system. This was an overkill. 2) Yes, there is Wi-Fi, but good luck with it. It is hit or miss. Due to signal strength, I believe it is located elsewhere on the property. This was very spotty. Yes, we wanted seclusion but ensure you download all your books and content before you show up. 2) Ants on the countertops and built-in dining table. The ants were present on arrival, and filled traps were found in both locations. 3) Ensure you read the rule book and rules on the refrigerator. This is where you will learn that trash needs to be taken with you, how to properly use the shower, and other tips for the property. 4) Be prepared for the unique features of this property. It's a converted garage or boathouse, which we could tell from the start. However, it's a handyman's special with exposed wires, a light fixture hanging open in the kitchen, and missing or dislodged baseboard moldings. Also, please be careful on the upper deck as some boards are rotted through, and there is a possibility of falling through. Recommend updating photos.

Rockin Rando is so helpful and communicative. So many tips to have a great stay. My only sad part is we were gone from the house to much and i could have just stayed there and enjoyed nature!

We caught plenty of crabs off the dock. The fish gave us the slip. Everyone we met in the area was super nice. It is a great place to leave the hustle and bustle behind.

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of activities, crabbing was fun, fishing was great as well. Like any other place in America bring sunscreen and bug spray. It wasnt bad just enough to warrant protection. Great outdoor activities and will not have time to do everything. We will be returning next year to continue our adventures.

The stay was great if you don’t mind cameras watching you. Propane tank was empty, couldn’t sit on balcony because straw would go up my ass from the crappy chairs. Stove top was dirty with mysterious fluid. It was what it was. Plenty to do in area. Plenty of undersize crab available- we threw them back.

We really enjoyed our stay! We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch and on the dock. Caught lots of crabs, harvested some oysters and had some great meals with them. Access to the water was our prime reason for renting and this place did not disappoint! It is roomy, beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked with quality cookware. If you're a bug magnet like me, be sure to use spray—even on the porch—those "No see-ems" are ferocious! Owner is a good guy who seems to really want his place to be enjoyable for his renters—communication was great!
