A lovely stay on the Cabot Trail! Michael was so accommodating and the house was great. Surely one of the best sunset watching spots on the trail!!

We had a wonderful time at this 3BR Executive abode. It was spotlessly clean and furnished with everything we needed during our stay. We cooked in a few nights and the kitchen was kitted out with everything we needed. Communication with the owner was excellent - his helpful hints for the area and the home were invaluable; we had the most delicious dinner/wine experience based on one of his recommendations.
And the views!!!! The home is situated such that you get the most gorgeous sunsets from the back porch. Each sunset seemed better the last.
We will remember our time here fondly and will book again should we revisit the area.

Astounding view of ocean, immaculate home, completely and thoroughly equipped. The property is very quiet, the kitchen is completely outfitted including an outside gas grill. The location in Cheticamp is perfect for exploring Cape Breton. Note: The prettiest part of the Cabot Trail is just north of Cheticamp. We simply could not have asked for anything more with the exception of having more time. Michael was very attentive to all of the communication and was wonderful.

Everything about our stay was outstanding. The views from every room in the house are gorgeous, as is the house itself. The house feels like a home and is exceptionally clean, with all the amenities you could want. The location is fabulous, located far enough off the road and with enough property to feel like a private oasis. The owner, Michael, was extremely helpful, providing details about the property and area, making the rental, check in, and check out extremely easy. He even checked in on us the first day to make sure everything was going well. We enjoyed our entire tripand hope to come back again. Beautiful sunsets every night!!

Fantastic location close to park and dining but far enough off the road that it seems like you have the ocean to yourself. Great sunsets and well stocked kitchen. Owner was very responsive and promptly returned an item left behind within a couple of hours of our leaving.

This was one of our favorite places we stayed on our Cabot Trail trip.
It was exactly as pictured- beautifully decorated on the inside with amazing natural beauty on the outside. Michael was a fabulous host and was available but not obtrusive.
We really felt like we “got away” which is what we were looking for! If you are in the area, absolutely consider this place to stay. You will not be sorry!

From the moment we drove up the entry road to the house, we knew we found the perfect rental. This private 3-bedroom modern style home was immaculate and very comfortable for the 4 of us staying there. Windows line the back of the house to give spectacular viewing of the Northlumberland Strait. Every morning we would look forward to watching the boats go by, the birds diving for fish, and the rabbits coming out to entertain us on the path leading down to the water. We cooked dinner there 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed there and found the kitchen hsd everything we needed. The house is just a short ride down the Cabot Trail to the Highlands National Park, where we hiked 3 days in a row. The owner recommended the Skyland Trail which had spectacular views of the ocean - we even got to see a moose, which was on our bucket list! Our stay here occurred just 1 week after the Halifax fires started. Our host contacted me before we left for our trip to assure us that Cape Breton was not being directly impacted by the smoke. This helped us make the decision to go and we couldn't be more happier that we did. I highly recommend this Point Cross rental.

We stayed here in June of 2023. The property is immaculate and actually surpassed the pictures! We immediately loved it! The house is tucked away down a little drive way, so it felt like we had the world to ourselves. Amazing views out the back and plenty of peace and quiet.
It was very easy to head to lots of hiking and activities destinations- of which there were plenty! We're already talking about booking a trip back.

Michael, the owner, was so nice and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the view from the large windows that looked out to the ocean. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. Highly recommend this property.

We stayed here for 3 days, wish it could have been longer. Extremely clean and well stocked. Ideally set up perfectly for 2 couples but we were 3 couples and it was suitable. As others have mentioned saw beautiful sunsets every night from the deck. Location perfect for exploring the Cabot trail. Would definitely recommend this property for your Cape Breton experience. Thank you Michael.

Couldn’t be happier as the property was exceptionally clean. Each night we were able to walk out on the deck and see and hear the ocean. Watching the sunsets from the deck became a must see event. Michael couldn’t have been more accommodating. The property is top notch and we can’t wait to book the same property for the 2023 season.

Gorgeous views. Property path goes thru the yard to the beach. Excellent fully-equipped rental with everything you need. Nice owner.

Property is exactly as shown and Michael spends the time to ensure his guests are comfortable. Everything was first quality from the appliances to cutlery and china. Having that magnificent bald eagle land while we were having coffee on the deck was perhaps a bit over the top. But well done and thank-you.

We just had such a fabulous week at Cape Breton staying at this property. The house is not only the perfect location but it’s furnished beautifully, spotless clean and very private. We enjoyed the quiet, the beach, sitting on the deck and watching the sunsets. Cheticamp has restaurants, shops, food store and a great museum to see the greatest hooked art you’ll ever see. Michael is a great host checking in with us making sure everything is going well. The house is well stocked with all the necessities and the beds are very comfortable. I’m so happy we picked this location on the trail because we were only an hour or two from everything we wanted to see. I loved being on the beach at the end of the day saying hello to the seal and watching the sun go down. You will be so happy staying at this property. Thank you Michael!
