Taia and véro are lovely hosts and will make sure you feel 100% comfortable. The breakfast is plenty and the place is spacious and clean. Awesome location, 1minute from the ocean, very quite. Taia made us one night dinner and it was soooo delicious. I recommend to stay there. If we find ourselves in tiputa again, we will stay with taia and véro again.

it’s a little remote but the host really helped us get around.

Lovely family that were welcoming and helped with travel arrangements to their home and back to the airport.

Taia was a wonderful and very helpful host. It was extremely clean and comfortable. I had mobility issues and Taia was very understanding of my issues.
You need to be able to ride a bike into town.

We had a really good time at Taia and Véros place. Even though the room is quite small when all beds are occupied we really liked the terrasse and kitchen areas. For us it was really nice with the washing machine, it needed a gently touch and worked fine. It was a bit away from the small town, so it was amazing we had bicycles available to use for all family - it made it easy to get around. The small beach close by is fine for snorkeling and easy accesible for swimmers. We would definately recommend people to stay with Taia and Véro if the need a pricefriendly stay in Rangiroa :-)
First night we used mosquito nets and the fan and it was really hot and noisy, so we didnt get the best sleep. After that we opened windows and removed the mosquito nets and slept so much better and we didnt have problems with insects :-)

Taia, the host, was very welcoming and shared some fresh tuna with us.

The hosts are exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay so special. We cannot say enough about how incredible they were to us!!! Truly amazing people and fantastic hosts. The communal kitchen was great... fun to meet fellow travelers. And our living space was quite large with more space than we could use! Really roomy and lovely. And it is a great place to experience the local lifestyle. Everyone was so warm and welcoming in the community.
They have bikes to get around, but it is not terribly easy to walk to the local stores, restaurants or the pier. We had a traveler with us with an injury, so our options for getting around were limited. The hosts offered to drive us, and were incredibly kind and generous with us in accommodating her mobility issues. We cannot thank them enough. Be aware that there is no air conditioning, but they have great mosquito nets, lots of fans and wonderful breezes.

Such a gem in Rangiroa! You won't find friendlier hosts...
Walked into a clean room decorated with fresh flowers picked from the surrounding garden. The property is so cute, quiet, and rooms are tucked behind the main house. There's a communal kitchen with all essentials. We loved the little beach with swimming just a few steps away, picking flowers, and cycling 10 minutes to the taxi boat station. It really feel like you're living like a local (but being pampered) here. We were even lucky enough to have a meal cooked by Taia for us! Note that this location is not 'central' to anything, but you can easily be picked up for tours and scuba diving from the taxi boat dock. This is definitely for travellers who love an immersive experience!
Not a negative, but you'll want to stop by a shop for some essentials if you can as there are limited food options close by.

Very nice, clean and quiet little gem on Tiputa Island. Taia and Vero were so kind during our stay, even cooking dinner on one night. Fridge is stocked with necessities and bread and fruit is offered everyday. Spacious bungalow. Great stay!
Daily activities have to be planned according to the schedule of the Taxiboat if you want to explore the main island, but we were fine with everything we had. Mosquitos can be bad as well.

Comfortable staying and the host is very helpful. The host provides all the basic stuffs such as soap, washing power (wh washing machine inside the room), towel and toilet paper so that you don’t need to worry about it.
Nothing, but it will even better if the host can improve the condition of the bicycles :)

I liked this place very much. There are only two bungalows and a kitchen house situated in huge garden with trees. The bungalows are big and provide a lot of space. The kitchen has all you need to prepare your meals.
The owners are very friendly. They live on site. Fresh fruits everyday. The bananas grow right behind the bungalow.
Taia helped me book excursions to Blue Lagoon and Reef Island which was very helpful since I don’t speak french.
Take a look at the map before you book this and consider carefully where you are going. This place is a little outside Tiputa village. For some this might be on the edge of nowhere. For me it was perfect.
Stock up on food on your arrvial. The supermarkets are 2 km away in Tiputa village. You can use bikes from the property. There are no restaurants around. There is a snack at Tiputa pier, but it only opens friday night and saturday night. For everything else use the taxi boat to Avatoru village (300XPF).
