I like that the property is serene and peaceful. This place is perfect for Writers and Researchers who want to have a silent retreat and people who want a restful night after exploring the island during the day.
Great and clean place. Friendly host. Lovely-looking villas too.
It's a little bit far from the Tourism Road or where the main bars and resorts are. So if you travel home at night, it could be a little uncomfortable.

Team was great, and Starlink internet connection too. Property overall is nice.
I got the Attic room, and it's literally just 2 mattresses on the floor, without bed frame.
There's very limited storage space, no chair or desk, and the AC is noisy.
Also, it's poorly insulated from heat, and just under the roof, so it will get hot when the AC is not running during the day.
Nothing that cannot be fixed, but as per March 2024, no worth ~25$ a night.

The villa was nice, simple and comfortable. We stayed in the attic of a modern nipa house. Dahun Villas is located in a quiet neighborhood, far from the party street of Siargao. The hosts are kind and very accommodating.
None, but we would like to suggest that they provide some toiletries and pair of room slippers for their guests.

The place was very green all around. You could enjoy a bit of quiet, listen to the rain falling on your roof at night, and wake up to a lush garden in the morning. The shared shower has warm water and decent pressure, so you have it all. Mattresses seem to be regularly cleaned, which I haven't noticed elsewhere before.
The wifi was unstable (just something to be aware of). The cell service in the area is weak as well, so that using your data won't be of much help either. The location is a bit far from the main spots, so you'll either need to haggle with the tricycle drivers or rent a scooter. I would recommend not to hit the guests with environmental concerns straight off the bat. We understand and appreciate the note and believe it's called for as people are likely wasteful when they arrive as tourists but a simple sign in the room is likely going to have the same effect without coming off as patronising.
(TL;DR: Again, just some suggestions and things to be aware of. We generally enjoyed our stay.)

great atmosphere for those looking for a quiet and peaceful place to chill after a long day touring around the island

The kindness of the host, beautiful villa's shape
Maybe provide some facilities and sanitary tools is better, like hairdryer toothbrush etc. but as I know there are many hotels or resorts don’t provide those tools too in the island.if you want a quiet room, maybe the roof of leafs will bother you.the rain and the birds make noise on the roof.but if you enjoy the nature you will enjoy this.

The villas are beautifully built and decorated. Located away from the busy area for a very quiet relaxing stay but close enough for a short drive on night out days. Beds and linens super comfy. Melanie and her staff are super kind and friendly.
Everything was perfect

My brother and I stayed 6 days at Dahun Villas and I can only say “THANKS”. The place is beautiful, homie, clean, they provide ALL the facilities (transport, island hopping, breakfast, which was delicious btw).
We are so lucky to discover it, and more than grateful with the hospitability of the owners and staff. They treated us like family.
For sure we will come back and bring all our family from Spain! 🇪🇸

Room aesthetic and Aproachable staff
Curtains are not completely covering the entire attic room door (large window) for privacy, and there are lots of occasional rat droppings from the ceiling

This is by far one of the best places I have stayed in the Philippines. Dahun Villas is run by an amazing family who who make you feel at home and a member of the family as soon as you arrive. They see to every possible need whether it be tours, transport or anything else you require. They really go the extra mile on everything to make your stay there the best it can possibly be. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did to make my stay there an amazing experience. Would recommend 10/10.
Nothing it was perfect.
