True to it's name, The Artist's Loft is located above the shop of local Silversmith and Artisan, Gaines Kiker. This lovely contemporary home features an ensuite master as well as ensuite guest room. The spacious, open concept features many windows that allow for an abundance of natural light. Open the french doors to the sun porch and enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail. This specialty kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, a gas range, soapstone countertops, and is fully stocked with cooking essentials to create gourmet meals. Our guest have 2 private parking spaces at the entrance to the home.
Located on a quiet street, this home offers exceptional charm and is in an unbeatable location allowing you to conveniently walk to Blowing Rock's restaurants, galleries, and boutiques. All of our expectations were met on our repeat visit to this clean, comfortable, perfectly quiet, and perfectly located property. The Blowing Rock area has everything you need for many days of enjoyment, especially if you like to eat, walk, relax, and do a little (or a lot) of hiking. We will be back.

The location is right off of Main St. We loved walking to restaurants, the concerts in the park and shopping! The hosts are absolutely fantastic. We had everything we needed in this well stocked apartment. Highly recommend for your next trip to Blowing Rock.

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very friendly, and the loft was super clean and roomy. We had zero problems, easily walked everywhere, so nice. This was a splurge for us! But the prime location with private parking, lovely and clean interior, and cozy beds and couches were worth every penny. It seems right in the center of busy downtown but was still very quiet at night. Very happy we were able to stay there!

Love The Artist Loft. The location is perfect. It’s an easy walk to all Blowing Rock has to offer. The loft is so pretty but it’s comfortable. The kitchen is big and has everything you need. The bedrooms are well done with nice linens. And the bathrooms have plenty of towels. I’ve stayed several times and it’s always a pleasure to work with Susan and Gaines Kiker.

The property was a perfect fit for the four of us - two couples. We shopped, did puzzles, watched movies and football, read, and ate most meals at local restaurants. We walked all over Blowing Rock and encountered wonderful people and excellent service every where we went. What a blessing our time at the Artist Loft was for each of us. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay. Was a very nice loft apartment. It has a huge open area that includes the living room, dining room and kitchen. Enough seating to have other friends or family staying in Blowing Rock to come over and have a night in. Had a wonderful breakfast nook for 2. The bedrooms were great. The master bathroom was very spacious and a pleasant surprise. It is located about 100 feet off Main Street which allows you to walk everywhere downtown and not need a car. 100% recommend and we intend on booking it again.

Third time staying at this location, and it never disappoints. Well designed and beautifully appointed, the home is steps away from everything Blowing Rock has to offer. You can’t beat the location, as we always enjoy being within walking distance of many restaurants and shops as well as some local hikes. We will absolutely book this home again, now planning our trips to Blowing Rock specifically around its availability.

I booked the loft for a trip with my mom and sister to celebrate my Mom's birthday. We had a perfect stay. The loft was extremely clean, comfortable, full of natural light and very nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. We loved the location. Private but very close to the shops and restaurants. I hope to stay there again with my husband next year! The only downside was the twenty steps to the second floor. Luckily my 80 year old Mom is in good shape but they could be challenging with luggage for some seniors.

The artist's loft was perfect for our stay. We could easily walk to everything in the village - it was quiet, immaculately clean and beautifully appointed. Private parking and quiet at night. I am DEFINITELY coming back here.

The property is perfect. It’s located in the middle of downtown Blowing Rock. It’s close enough to walk everywhere downtown and just far enough off the Main Street to feel private. Roomy, clean, and feels like home. We were a short drive to Boone to watch App St football game. A great weekend!

We would highly recommend this home ! 5 stars very clean and we walked everywhere. Would definitely recommend. Stories grill , Speckled Trout are excellent dining choices.Old Town Tavern (just across the street) is great for a cocktail. Lots of shopping -all within walking distance.

Winter storm Elliott proved to be a formidable challenge to our 2nd holiday at Artists Loft. The entire town experienced power and water failures in sub zero weather and snow. The owner was on our doorstep with a case of water and worked tirelessly all day to get our water on. The gas stove and fireplace keep us cozy and fed as friends and family arrived. We love the views from the multitude of windows. Super comfortable furnishings and roomy living/entertaining area allow for small gatherings. Great kitchen with all you could ever need. We will return again and again as this is a primo location for walking to Main Street shopping or dining. I can’t say enough about the delightful and caring hosts.
