Superb

The house was perfect for us and the friends we were traveling with. The outlook was beautiful-bushland leading your eye to the water and across to the mainland-such a beautiful vista to wake up to each day-we just wish we’d been able to stay longer.

Nice but not a beach front house

Very big house with comfortable bedroom, good linen and aircon. Loved the Jacuzzi and the bbq on the balcony, definitely the plus of the house.

Very nice looking views of the ocean from the heel, but this is not a beach front house as indicated. We thought we could just walk from the house to the beach for a quick swim, which technically you can, but you will have to climb back that massive heel on your way back where the house is located. Never been to Kingsfisher bay before, the house is actually located all the way up to Kingsfisher heights, which got us confused when we arrived. That was the main interest we had in choosing this house and we were quite disappointed. There are actually beach front houses there, this one isn't one of them. The description is misleading and that's not right.

Can handle 6 adults and 4 kids.

Fridge too small for extended family with missing, cracked and broken door shelves. No paper towels or tissues. Noisy second bedroom fan on low and medium is too high. Spa is set on 12 hour timing and comes on during the night. Also over bromine. Problematic. Only one t-towel and kitchen hand towel. For toddlers a baby gate for the back steps is required.

Beautiful views, beautiful house!

The home was very clean. It literally had everything we needed, right down the laundry detergent! The home owner was very accomodating toward us and allowed us to leave some belongings behind as our barge didn’t depart until we’ll after check out. The owners were easily contactable about any issues and concerns we had! hands down the best place I’ve ever stayed at! 10/10 would recommend

The house was big enough for 6 adults and 4 kids. The spa was set to the perfect temperature. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, dinnerware, glasses etc. Great space outside on the deck. The BBQ was a good size.

House was great for our group. Back verandah fantastic. Great communication with owner.

Not enough food storage containers, microwave dishes etc. Very limited supplies of dish detergent and toilet paper for 8 people. No storage room for our food for a week for 8 people.

A relaxing escape

The view was stunning and the location was perfect for exploring Fraser island. Kitchen was well equipped. The whole house was clean and comfortable.

Everything was wonderful, communication was clear and quick. The only issue was the hot tub on the balcony was a little chilly to use on a cold evening!

Nice stay

Overall a great place to stay for a large group. Our group consisted of 4 couples and two babies, and there was enough room for all of us without living on top of each other. It has a modern kitchen with basic necessities, decent bedrooms, comfortable living area and Verandah with a stunning water and bush views. The hosts were great to deal with and answered queries promptly.

The floors need a good vacuum. There was a tonne of hair in the living area rug that you can visibly see, and the babies kept grabbing at. The driveway needs some maintenance. Be wary to wear shoes, as I got a large splinter walking across the timber. All of the bedroom light switches/remotes don’t work very well. A couple of times the lights came on in the middle of the night because they were set on a timer that you aren’t aware of. We also couldn’t adjust the fan speeds easily. Maybe the remotes need new batteries?

Very welcoming accommodation, loved the location & still having access to the resorts facilities was an added bonus...not to mention the view & family of kookaburras stopping in for an afternoon snack.
