This tastefully-furnished, peaceful, beachfront condo is located on the tip of Baja California at Costa Azul Beach. It is a third floor condo with ocean and pool views and a fabulous palm tree court yard around pool. It is only one mile from the charming town of San Jose Del Cabo and has many restaurants nearby, as well as a large grocery store one mile away. This home also features a full kitchen and High speed Internet .
This is a non-smoking unit.

This place is very much as depicted: quiet, scenic, right on the beach. It has a private feel but is walking distance to a few good bars/restaurants and close enough to grocery stores. Tim is a good owner, excellent communication. If I had one suggestion it would be to update furnishings/beddings, but overall an excellent place and good value. Property and pool are very well maintained.

This was the relaxing trip we were hoping for. Woke up rested every morning to the beautiful sunrise. Pool area and grounds very well maintained. Best bed I’ve had in a rental! Tim was helpful and easy to contact if you have questions.

Great location, right on the beach, perfect if you like to surf, which I did, The view from the balcony is right at the break. The bed very comfortable. Good supply of beach chairs and umbrellas. Tim is very easy to communicate with. You will need to bring your own soap.

The location is second to none. Uber was super fast and affordable to get to any local destinations. Plenty of access to restaurants and attractions. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet and well maintained condo and grounds on the best part of the San Jose del Cabo beach. Tim was very responsive to our questions and check in was easy. Portions of the adjacent highway are a bit scary to walk but Uber is excellent. Would recommend Habaneros Sardina and La Osteria for excellent dinners and Pezgallo for breakfast. La Comer is the place to shop for groceries wine etc. Would definitely stay again

Great location. You can’t get any closer to the beach. Well equipped and clean condo ideal for a couple. Minutes from central San Jose. We did both Uber and had a rental car both of which were easy. Complex is laid back, nicely landscaped, with security guard at night. Great communication with Tim the owner.

Very nice complex, right on the beach. Beautiful sunrises. Beach is flat and then closer to water has quite an incline. Condo sufficient for 2 people, you do have to walk up 3 flights of steps. The cutlery and utensils could be updated. The bed was awesome! A/c worked very well, you get a nice breeze through patio as well. There is a lot of road noise as you are right along the main highway. The store is about a 1/2hr walk on busy highway with uneven or no sidewalk. Is a little scary to walk along. Uber works fine and there is a bus stop outside building which you can also use and it works fine. Some nice restaurants in beach in front and behind coral baja. We enjoyed our stay, just a few minor updates would make it fabulous.

I've done several VRBO's and this property and its owner Tim were above all others!!! Why? Simple: Property was EXACTLY as advertised & photographed and owner(Tim) was available throughout and quickly responded when I needed an answer (Nothing wrong just needed some extra TLC on where to park & what to do when leaving) Wish he could teach a class to the other clowns trying to run their VRBO's....

Beach vacation
Location is great for a quiet getaway. Beach and pool right there. Condo had everything you need and host has great communication. Our only comment is that they could use a better cleaner, under bed, furniture and ceiling fans were full of dust, And had likely not been cleaned in sometime and the whole place could use an update. Having said that, we have no allergies and we made it worked although we borrowed a mop and did some basic cleaning.
No problem recommending this property and I am sure the owner will be responsive to its needs.

Was more than I could hope for. Not a bad price. Over looking a beautiful surf spot, sunrises over the ocean. Friendly neighbors, Tim was quick to respond. Everything I needed for cooking, beach time, internet, right there. Walking distance from restaurants, surfboard rental shop. Love it, will come back

Excellent Week!
We had a great week at Costa Azul. The condo was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Communication with Tim was always prompt and check in was easy. We enjoyed the quiet, relaxed atmosphere at the condo and being just steps from the beach. We made use of the bus and Uber to get around so having a car was not needed. I would recommend this condo if you want a quiet vacation away from the Cabo San Lucas crowds.

Beautiful, Clean and Quiet spot
The place was very nice and relaxing. The beach was awesome with some waves while the water was as warm as the pool! There are 2 restaurants in walking distance that are really good and a huge grocery store called La Comer that’s a half mile walk away. The area was very clean and the neighbors were very nice. Tim (the owner) always kept in touch while always was on top of any questions you had. The smaller town called San Jose del Cabo is a 7 minute Uber ride and it is much better than Cabo San Lucas. It is not as packed, much better restaurants and many small to medium sized bars were you can grab a beer.
Overall it was a welcoming area and I will be back.

Peaceful getaway
Perfect place to recharge the batteries. Small complex with permanent reSidents so just be respectful, not a party place at all, it’s On the sand, great view from balcony , 5 min walk to zippers bar/grille, the place next door had good breakfast and drinks as well, Uber is a no-brainer to get around and very safe, huge market called La Comer for food and anything else you need, is a 3 min ride, water sport rentals at zippers, and long walks were awesome. We will be back.

Great location and view!
This condo is in a secured, beautiful setting with well-groomed grounds and an amazing view all around , particularly from the balcony, where we enjoyed watching the surfers. However, being later in the season, there wasn’t a lot of activity around the building, and we practically had the beach to ourselves! In the unit we enjoyed the comfortable bed, nice appliances, patio furniture, beach paraphernalia & electronics. Owner Tim provided good communication for our arrival & responded quickly to any concerns. We had everything we needed; would only suggest some new pots & pans and better lighting or a lamp next to the couch for reading. It was easy to bus everywhere, to town (San Jose) for shopping & great restaurants, a visit to Palmilla Beach & touristy San Lucas. We had the added security of the police checkpoint on the highway in front of the building. The officers were friendly and helpful watching out for us. We will consider staying again in the future & recommend to others.

Nice place - good value
Loved the condo, loved the location - would have given the rating a five except for the traffic and construction noise. It would have been good to know about the lack of an elevator for the third floor room and the need for US quarters for the laundry room. Leon, the property manager (?) was wonderful. We'd definitely stay there again.

Classic Mexico feel with perfect beach access
We stayed for one week and didn't want to leave. Our condo was decorated with comforts of home with a Mexico feel. Just the right size for a couple. We sat on the 3rd story balcony & watched the sunrise while eating our breakfast. Surfers can be viewed from the condo or you can just take a step off the gated secure grounds and watch them out on the beach! We took the local bus to buy our food and drink. We packed up the provided beach chairs, umbrella and small cooler and lived on the beach almost every day. The weather was beautiful!! Walking distance to excellent local restaurants. Don't be afraid to venture out and find them. Only downfall is right on highway but if condo door is closed, you don't hear anything but the ocean waves and the awesome sounds from the music you can play on the Bose system. Hopefully the condo being built close by will be finished when we return. Daily construction was easy to ignore. Leon kept the grounds looking beautiful and others in condo were very friendly. Tim, the owner, was excellent to work with! He responded quickly to emails and even calls and text messaging. Everything he informed us about ahead of time was very helpful and reassuring. READY TO GO BACK!!!

Great location for last minute vacation
We were able to pull together a very last minute, 4 day trip to SJDC and very fortunate to book Tim's condo. It was a great location for a quiet few days with everything one would need for their vacation. Tim was extremely responsive to all my questions and even reached out during our stay to make sure all as well. When I had a quick question Tim texted me back almost immediately. The location of the condo was very convenient to getting around and you can walk to the store, a few restaurants if you choose along the road or beach. The bus was out front or driving is very easy as well. The beach was spotless as was the grounds of the condo. There is slight road noise that you can hear from the bedroom, but it did not disturb us at all and was not noticeable in the other rooms. The crashing of the waves is actually louder which was very enjoyable! We even saw whales from the deck. This was a great location to use as a base to explore the area. The condo complex is quiet and the folks were very friendly. A great alternative to avoid the spring break crowds

Fantastic Stay
Our first time staying in San Jose Del Cabo. We had spent the previous two weeks in Cabo San Lucas. This was the perfect change of pace. Tim's unit has a million dollar view. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching surfers, the waves crash and the occasional whale breach. The location was perfect for us as we like to walk. Amazing beach for this. You can also walk to the grocery store(La Comer) and cab back. I'd recommend taking the beach route. We even walked to the Plaza in town. Zippers, a10 minute walk on the beach, is a great place to eat and be entertained. We met a great cab driver, Guermo, who we used for other trips. Tim is a very accommodating owner. We had no problems but I know if we had he would have been very responsive. The onsite caretaker, Leon, is also very helpful. He brought us more drinking water even though we missed the scheduled time. Very comfortable living space. Perfect for a couple. The internet was fast and the vonage phone came in handy a few times. Only reason it's not 5 star is the road noise. Easily overlooked once you open the slider and let the waves take over. FYI it is on the third level and no elevator. Not a problem for us it's an easy stair climb.

Perfect
This was or first stay in San Jose after multiple years at large resorts in Cabot San Lucas. I read many reviews and know what to expect in Mexico. Our experience with Tim was fantastic. We had a few minor glitches but we know how to roll with the punches and minor glitches aren't worth ruining your vacation. Tim was very accommodating and very responsive to our every need. We weren't sure about getting around in San Jose, or from the condo, but after talking with a few friendly people at the bus stop and the OXXO we learned our way around on the first day. Buses and grocery are very easy and if you prefer a taxi just stand out in front of the condo and give a friendly wave. San Jose is much less "touristy" and is very laid back. Food is amazing at every stop. Mira Vista is amazing. If you're looking for night life and the party scene... go to Cabo. If you want to take nice walks on the beach, right outside your door, and lay by the pool this is the place for you. There are many long time residents that are very willing to provide information when needed. We enjoyed baby sea turtles, beach combing, morning on the balcony, etc. Take your binoculars for whale watching..they are everywhere. We booked a fishing trip with Gordo Banks pangas and were not disappointed. We have fished for many years and laugh at folks that give bad reviews for not catching fish. It's not about what you catch, it's about the experience on the water and how hard your captain works to find the fish. That's why they call it fishing.... not catching. If you're in doubt about where to stay in San Jose don't look any further. Book with Tim and you will not be disappointed.

Lovely, Mellow Get-away
We wanted a place to escape from the PNW for a few days but without too much hassle. This was a perfect spot. It was a quick shuttle to/from the airport, about a 15 min walk to the huge "Le Comer" (formerly Mega) grocery store (we walked there and cabbed it back- there's a bus stop right in front of the condo, too) but definitely felt a bit less touristy and crowded than staying at a hotel in the Hotel Zone. The unit was simple but lovely- very well stocked kitchen for all cooking needs. The view from the balcony was beautiful, it was a great way to wake up every morning. The grounds were very clean and well maintained and the pool was perfect. When we were there, there were only a handful of other people staying there, so it felt very quiet and relaxing. The beach in front was wonderful. We swam several times a day (maybe it's the time of year, but it felt completely safe to swim). All in all, exactly what we were looking for! Thanks, Tim!
