The cabin was comfortable. It had a nice deck to view stars and grill on. The kitchen was well supplied with plates, utensils, spatulas, grill tools, and appliances such as a stove, refridgerator, toaster, microwave, and crockpot, along with baking sheets, pots, pans, and glass bakeware.
Wifi only worked on the TV for Netflix to wind down the night. Couldn't connect our devices at all to Wifi as the password was never provided and the Vacasa protocol didn't work, either. Staff was unable to fix the issue without us agreeing to sit and wait at the cabin during the day, which we were unwilling to do. Simply post a password in the cabin and the problem is solved. Also, we got emails asking us to start a load of linen before we left, so we assumed there was a washer/dryer set. There is not. Also, the images show a lake, and there is no water viewable from the property. The images appear to be Lake Estes, roughly 3mi away. We chose this cabin for the mountain and lake view. The mountain view was great, but again, the water images are misleading.

The wildlife in the front yard!
And the location was great as well
The floors made a lot of noise, especially the bedroom and bathroom area.

Living room was great with lots of space. Cozy cabin in a good location.
At first I laughed at the reviews about the squeaky floors, but it was not possible to walk around with out waking everyone else up. They are very noisy! The floor has an uneven tripping hazard between the kitchen and dining room .
I don't think I will rent from Vacasa again . I think I received an email or two daily from them after I reserved the room, it was unnecessary.

Location
No A/C unit. No washer and dryer, and tue coffe machine needs to be more practical (K-cups, etc)

Location was good, convenient to Estes Park and the national/regional parks. Nice quiet and isolated from the other cabins nearby.
Price/value was not as expected, relatively premium price for a cabin without some basic amenities

The location was very good. The property is not nearly as nice as pictured. The bedroom floor (plywood planks) squeaked so loudly that you wake up others when you get up at night. When we booked this property, the pictures showed a washer & dryer, but there were none. Pots and pans were bent and (handles) nearly falling off. The smallish refridgerator made a loud on-cycle noise. The storm door was apparently not installed correctly, and was difficult to open and close. All in all, a rather shabby, low quality property that the owner has maintained on the cheap.
Layering on multiple fees seems to be standard practice with Vacasa. An 18% service charge on top of a cleaning fee of $106.55 is exorbitant for such a small cabin. This is the third Vacasa property we've tried, and we have consistently been disappointed by the quality and (lack of) value. In the future we intend to avoid properties managed or owned by Vacasa. They promise more than they deliver, their fees are very high, and the quality is too often substandard.
Booking.com, however, has served us very well throughout the years. We have booked through Booking.com for quite some time now, both in the US and Europe. We think Booking.com is a great service and we hope that there will not be too many properties managed by Vacasa in the Booking.com portfolio. And we would be sorely disappointed, indeed, if Booking.com become officially affiliated, or merged, with Vacasa. Please maintain your independence and more tightly monitor your Vacasa listings.
Many thanks!
The dishonest posting. An outer door with a broken link so it would bang against the house. The wooden floor that squeaks every time you step on it. The change in height from the living room part of the floor to a lower part in the kitchen area. This is a potential fall risk. The limited hot water. The VERY noisy refrigerator that is not balanced properly. The very beat up frying pan.

Location was excellent great scenery views from cabin
Some of the maintenance items needed a little TLC other facilities were in good condition and comfortable

Kitchen was well equipped.
I did not like the squeaky floors. Bathroom sink drain did not work at all.
