Staff was excellent and accommodating. Rate was very affordable.
Breakfast was poorly stocked with very limited choices. Pool was dirty. Entering and exiting location to highway was risky and steep.

Location! The availability to use the “main” Trailborn for bar, fire pit, etc, cooler in the room and granola at breakfast . Sunrise hike was amazing (extra experience)!
Needs a lot more updating with rooms, deck and parking lot. Need better breakfast, outdoor area built for hang out (like the main Trailborn), need more bikes (approx 6+), better AC, and a water filling station . Pool was not operational so we were not thrilled about that

Newly remodeled very nicely. The young man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Loved the hand soap and bath products. Loved the books in the room as well as having a cooler available for us in our room. That was very handy
Even though you have 2 properties within a mile of each other they should each have their own amenities for each hotel separately unless they both have the same amenities which they don’t. The included continental breakfast was at the other location so we would have to get in our car and travel?? That cuts into our vacation time. We didn’t go for the breakfast at all. We paid for breakfast which we thought
was included at our hotel. Also our hotel didn’t have an ice machine. We could use the provided cooler but there was no ice to put in there. We were told we could go to the other hotel and they would fill it. I also did not feel our bed was the best but not bad. He said they were new so maybe there was something wrong with the way it was set up.

Highly recommend Trailborn for the Rocky Mountain experience with a boutique hotel feel nestled in this amazing location close to Estes Park! The market with tasty refreshments was amazing and the outdoor patio and fire pit added great ambiance to our stay :). This hotel is dog-friendly with walkability to Estes Park and the hotel is fully renovated.

The views are what kept me staying
Dirty the place looks like it's going to fall in on itself

Remodeling taking place / had to check in at a different place. But the room itself was fine just not what i thought i was paying for
Location
0.5 / 5.0
Parking was deplorable. No lighting on walkway. Had to checkin elsewhere. The rooms were nowhere near worth 200.00 per night. Paint peeling, caulking everywhere as the fix.. They should have been allot less for what we got.

The location was the only thing good here!!
The property reeked of cigarette smoke, marijuana smoke, and old funk. There were unidentifiable stains up on the carpet and the walls and the headboard of the bed.

Privacy, beds were great.
No staff on site, obvious holes in floor which were carpeted over, expensive as hell.

Convenient area
Carpet dirty, parking lot was a mess, garbage in lot. Noisey

friendly staff member at other check-in hotel; wide screen tv with local channel; mini fridge; low cost to stay overnight; relatively quiet once the workers left
under construction - check-in was at 4:00 at a hotel a few miles away; windows were covered in plastic sheeting; workers were scraping the outside wall of my room until sundown around 6:30; hotel sign was not lit at night; small toilet; bolt on the room's door didn't lock...I ended up with a chair propped under the door handle for peace of mind while I slept

Nothing
Windows were nasty, curtains off rods, dirty and worn chairs, con webs on lamps...need I say more?

Bed was very nice.
…There was no breakfast. There was coffee maker
1/2” gap under the door. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Ceiling above my bed falling off. Wall in bathroom coming apart. No staff at the hotel lobby. Main sign had no lights. No WiFi.
0.5 / 5.0
Nothing but the wifi.
The entire room, wall were disgusting with writings, stains, no curtains over window for privacy in the bedroom. The door was damaged and the safety latch was ripped out hanging 6 inches away from the door. The walk in area that had a window was damaged and couldnt be fully closed. the chairs were stained and looked like they were picked up from the side of the road with the word free hanging on them. I could not describe in words how to say STAY AWAY. I'd have rather slept uncomfortable in a car.

Rooms were nice and well appointed but NO on-site services. Room-to-room phone not working nor was the wi fi.
The front lobby was torn up for renovations and was completely closed. We were made to drive to another property several miles away to check in and then again to check out. No advance information on the remodel was given to us or the others in our party. Had we known, we would have booked another property.

Location was good room was clean
No hot water in bathroom sink no lights on outside walkway no lights on stairs going to room so when it was dark had to use flashlight on phone to go up stairs and to find room toilet plugged up had to use plunger to flush a couple times parking was very small and hard to get out of in the very back lot parking lot was very dirty the grounds were over groaned with weed and some trash

the tv didn't work, no clock, no phone, and had to wait for someone to show up from another facility to check in. Waited an hour for someone to show up to fix the tv. So we checked out, at least I got my money back

Our room door opened to under the stairs. The area was filled with trash, an old screen and cigarette butts. Two refrigerators were on their sides in the driveway. The place needs a lot of work!
Their was hair and mold in the tub. When we moved the chair, we found food and trash under it. I'm sure you are working on attention to detail!

New beds & large new television
Under construction lobby required us to go to different hotel up road to check-in. Lots of discarded furnishings outside so junky looking.

The bed and TV were brand new. Bed was very comfy. Elk meandered around outside was the only beautiful view.
Where to start...Lobby was torn up, pics on the site are very old pics, everything under construction and not listed on the booking site. No ice machine, vending machines, (atm that i could see) or coffee in lobby or breakfast. Room- No toilet paper, kleenix, hair products, soap, nothing! No coffee maker, plug ins by bed didn't work, light in hall flickered then went out, bathroom floor tile coming up and many other small things. Photos are VERY deceiving. Pool was closed and under construction as well. Talked to the staff, who i will say were very nice and tried to accommodate the best they could on the small things. Rates were very high for this motel over the weekend. One guy called his new owner and they agreed to refund some money on the room so that was a plus. Balcony faced the back side with piles of beds and couches in the parking lot. We were very disappointed and even discussed leaving biting the money spent but decided to go ahead and stay since the beds were comfy and we would just stay gone all day.

The staff was friendly, and the location is good.
The room was small, dirty and beat up. There was a layer of dust on everything and a layer of grime in the sink. Paint was coming off the walls. There was a 1” gap under the door. I found a living grasshopper in my bed. The sheets were stained and had holes in them. The shower would fluctuate from super hot to cold without touching the dials. The lighting was poor. The parking lot is super steep, making for awkward loading/unloading. All that to say, I wouldn’t recommend it, even if it’s just for catching a little sleep.
3.0 / 5.0
Comfortable beds, remodeled room, heating worked fine
no drink cups, one shower towel, plug near bed shorting out, remote batteries low, all ice makers not working.
2.5 / 5.0
Cracked tile in bathroom made you feel unstable.
3.0 / 5.0
The view was amazing!
Our remote didn't work the first night and maintenance wasn't around to fix it so we had to wait until our second night to watch normal TV
