Mamta met us at the flat. She let us check in early. The flat is very close to everything. Walking distance to all. The flat is very clean and has all the amenities except a washer. Water pressure is excellent. There is plenty of hot water too. The AC worked perfect. WiFi was great! There is a small balcony that fr the kitchen.
All in all it was a great stay. And we like definitely stay here again.

The pictures on this listing do not do this property justice. It’s spacious and beautiful and super clean! High ceilings, beautiful kitchen and baths and comfy beds pair perfectly with its great location! You will be a stone’s throw from the main train station and a short walk to the Duomo and many other sites. Mamta gave us a warm welcome, showed us everything in the flat we needed and made us feel comfortable. Perfetto!
4.7
This property is exactly as described. Be ready to go up stairs as this apartment is on the top floor. Communication was great and check in and check out was easy. AC worked perfectly. We were a group of 5 and my only complaint would be not a lot of places for evwryone to sit at the end of the day but we explored so much it didnt really matter.
4.7
We had a wonderful time. The flat was clean and there was clear communication for check in. Accommodated our family of five.
4.7
Only drawback was a visiting mosquito. Otherwise, a brilliant place to stay!

The owner of the property was nice and responded quickly. The apartment was clean, air units didn't work. The neighborhood was in walking distance to stores and sites but it was a very dirty area and the people were not as kind as smaller towns. There were more travelers then local people. It was a huge tourist spot. We have traveled all over Italy my advice is to stay out if major cities and vistis smaller towns where there are more locals.
4.7
Mamta was great to communicate with and the location is very conveniently located for getting to the center, train station, and ponte vecchio areas.
My only issues are that the flat is up 3 or 4 flights of stairs without an elevator, which I wish was advertised. Traveling with a lot of heavy luggage this was difficult.
4.7
This was a wonderful experience. The communication was excellent and the property manager Mamta was helpful and gave useful info, as we traveled on holidays. She spoke perfect English.
Read all the apartment info well and there will be no surprises. Yes, there are many stairs, this is typical of European apartments. The kitchen had the amenities needed - multiple types of coffee makers, plenty of utensils/plates and a dishwasher.
There's a cute balcony, big enough for 2 people to enjoy the cafe table. Mosquitos are common in Florence, even in December.
The overall cleanliness was very good, especially in the bathroom, bedrooms and kitchen.
Location-wise, it is easy to walk to the city center, restaurants, the river, and shopping. We didn't have a car.
I do recommend this property.

Mamta was the perfect host.

Quick stop on way to Tuscany Vineyards

Host was great. Comfortable. Fully supplied.

Jacopo met us near the train station and walked us to the apartment. Carried our bags upstairs. Explained everything in English. Location within short walking distance to the train station and about an easy mile walk to the city center and the Duomo and museums. Highly recommend.
4.7
Great location and Mamta was easy to work with! Very clean and close to the attractions. Would stay again.
4.7
It is nice place in a very convenient location near the train station and not too long of a walk from historic center. However, the air conditioning didn’t work in one room, so they just locked the door and charged us for the three bedroom apartment we paid for - no discount for not getting what was advertised
4.7
We would 100% stay here again. It was just as described, a perfect location to get to all the sites, and the host was very responsive and helpful.
4.7
The whole process was very smooth. Our host, Mamta, was super easy going and provided recommendations. Very accommodating and communication was excellent. This apartment is close to everything. Train stop is about a 5 min walk. Mostly all tourist locations are within walking distance. This apartment is on the third floor, in case you have mobility difficulties. The location of this apartment appeared safe. My husband and I worked during the morning, mid day and late evening without any issues.
I recommend this apartment if you’re looking for less touristy and quiet area.
4.7
Although there are many stairs to enter the flat, it is very nice. All the beds are memory foam, but beware the sofa bed—it was not comfortable for our grown son. Maybe it would work for younger children. The upstairs has quite a low ceiling, but the downstairs/main level is airy and nice. There is a great little porch off the kitchen, which is small but has everything you need. There are two bathrooms, but only the maiN floor bath has a shower. The location is great and there is a little supermarket around the corner. Don’t let the unimpressive neighborhood worry you. The train station is quite close and the Duomo is a 15 minute walk. I would recommend this flat.
4.7
This property is not appropriate for people that cannot climb stairs. The flat is three floors up.
4.7
Loved this apartment and on a very quiet street considering it’s just one block from SMN train station.
Great family spot as the upstairs loft has multiple sleeping options with a low pitched roof so more accessible for the younger ones. Just note there is no elevator and this apartment is on the third floor be ready to carry bags.
4.7
Not only was the property ideally located, clean, and easy to access, the communication with the property owners was exceptional. Really enjoyed our stay, look forward to staying at this property when we return in the future. Wonderful place, loved the terrace, perfect place to relax and it was quiet. Loved it! Thank you so much
4.7
Nice and clean unit, close to the train station and short walk to all attractions.
4.7
Super location, nice apartment
The property is right in the heart of Florence. It's just a short walk from the train station and the airport tram stop.
The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. Would def recommend it to families with older children. The stairs to the upper rooms is v steep so would not be suitable for young kids

Florence is Spectacular!
This apartment was very close to the train station, within a few minutes walk. It is very nice inside, with a good kitchen, comfortable beds, a wonderful shower in the bathroom, and within a convenient walking distance to historic center of Florence. It even has a small terrazzo off the kitchen, where we enjoyed coffee in the cool of the morning as the sun rose. As is so often the case, however, you will need to be able to climb stairs. Overall, it was a delightful experience to be in such a nice apartment in such a gorgeous city!

The check-in process and overall communication process with Mamta, who manages the apt for Jacopo, were both efficient and prompt.
The apartment itself, however, was the biggest disappointment out of the four different flats we rented at different locations during our two-week stay in Italy. The upstairs bedrooms have very low ceilings which leads to frequent head-banging. The steep staircase would be dangerous for any family with children. For us, however, the unpleasant stench in the apt was our biggest concern and source of unhappiness. It was a constant and very strong smell of rotten eggs, almost sulfuric in nature. It didn't matter how much we opened the windows to air out the rooms. You could tell air freshener had been used when we checked in but the stench was overpowering and hit your face every time upon entering the apt. For the price we paid, we would have expected something different.

We felt the space was great for our family but the property had a strong odor that was hard to take. If the property owners can figure out the cause of the sulfuric odor and eliminate it, this place would be perfect.

Great place, modern and comfortable. Are stairs to get there, but very safe and quiet (even though 2 blocks from train station). 10 minutes to Duomo, lots of reasonable places to eat nearby.

Lots of stairs. If you have any hip or knee issues this is not for you.The linen was an issue because no matter your length of stay you don’t get clean linen unless you pay for more.

We were a group of 5 people and we really liked this property. Mamta was SO nice and helpful, and the property felt very safe and secure. It's very close to the train station, which made it easy for us to take the train to Venice for a day and to Rome when we were leaving Florence. We found the apartment very comfortable, and there is air conditioning which we were very grateful for, since we were there during an oppressive heat wave in June! As others have stated, the steps to the loft bedrooms and bathroom are steep, but they were no problem for the 18 and 21 year olds with us. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, and the microwave is confection, so you can toast things if you want. The dishwasher worked well, and the small cooktop did as well. The shower is small, but has great water pressure. We moved the table into the living room area for dinner one night, so we could all sit around it. It was normally in the kitchen area against the wall, but moved easily and made for a nice family dinner and conversation. The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of bath towels for everyone. We walked everywhere, and the apartment was in an excellent location for that as well. Besides being close to highlights such as the Duomo, it was also close to the Mercato Centrale. I won't lie - trying to navigate some of the streets of Florence were a little difficult, but finding our way to this apartment was easy!

Great location.
Apartment was in an excellent location - only a very short walk from the train station and minutes walk from most of the main museums and points of interest. We were met by Mamta who was able to let us in to the apartment early which was greatly appreciated. The apartment was well appointed and was a great layout for my wife and myself and our two adult children who were travelling with us. The two other bedrooms are in the loft and accessed by a small staircase that would prove tricky for someone with limited mobility. We would stay here again.

Undoubtedly one of the best locations in Florence! The building is truly steps away from the train station and a short walk to the Duomo. There are lots of restaurants, bars, shops in the neighborhood. Bus/tram stops are right across the street. The apartment was small, but comfortable. There is no elevator and there are lots of steps. It was moderately provisioned--dishes/glasses for 4, towels for 2, no toaster, coffee pods were not available in stores, etc. The upstairs 2 bedrooms/powder room had sloped ceilings and it was difficult to stand up unless you were in the middle. The first floor with one bedroom/bath would be great accomodation for a couple. We agreed to have some work done in the apartment-it just went longer than anticipated. There was also work done on the building that more or less blocked the steps for a weekend. We were told the workers would help us down the steps, but we did not feel it would be safe with the drop cloths, ladders, and tools.

Great stay. Great location. Property liaison was great. All in all would stay here again
