Great location, great terrace, had very heavy rain and were shocked to see it coming from the ceiling and window joints! Make sure you use mosquito spray in apartment - both kids bitten quite badly!

The location was good, though surrounded by construction. The amenities and room overall were underwhelming. WiFi didn't work well, we were better off hotspotting and the AC barely functioned.

Do not check in on a Sunday if possible. There is no front desk on Sunday’s. We just happened to find a guy working in the laundry room and he was able to give us our key. Room size is good, we had an amazing view. Sheets did not seem very cleanly though/smelled kind of funny. We ended up washing the blanket there in the laundry room. If you plan on using the washing machine you’re going to need to air dry your clothes in your room. The dryer takes multiple times to dry your clothes and even then, does not dry them all the way. The location is wonderful and very central and to everything, can walk everywhere. There was also construction going on right outside, so don’t plan on sleeping in past 0900 or the construction will wake you up!

Overall positive experience. However, it was a construction in the building, so very noisy between 8am and 6pm.

The staffs are friendly and the check In process was quick and easy.

Great location and the hotel was super clean and beautiful!!

Construction in the area and building not pleasant.
Walking distance to all attractions but the street itself is ugly ( not unsafe) but there’s a market on that street and it smells bad. The property is fine, nothing luxurious. Contact was very kind and helpful.

This apartment hotel is located right next to the Mercato Centrale and Leather market, a 10 minute walk to the train station and Duomo. The 2 bedroom apartment could easily sleep 6 with 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds. The bathroom was reasonable in size and cleanliness.
The beds were not comfortable, no blankets, just top sheets and bed spreads. Windows have no screens and bugs (mosquitoes) came in during the night.
The hotel management was never on site. During our five night stay the apartment was not cleaned once. Only when I happened to see housekeeping staff on our 4th day could request additional rolls of toilet paper. Is this considered limited housekeeping?

Our first apartments was a 3 br 2 bath that was roomy and comfortable. However, there was an issue with the room which the hotel staff and Hotels.com responded quickly and moved us to another apartment. The second place (in the same building) was also nice, 2 bedrooms, but slept 3 comfortably. The apartment was close to a lot of restaurants, bars and nightlife and sites. We loved the vendors right outside out door and the market for amazing eats just a block or 2 away. The deck on top overlooking the church was a nice bonus. We read reviews about getting stuck in the elevator, but it was no problem for us. Overall, I'd stay there again.

Apartment was in a great location. Woman that checked us in was very nice and very helpful. Checkin time limited to 5-7pm is unreasonable and difficult. We will not stay again because of checkin time.

Residence Medicea is well located, within 5 minutes walk from the train station and main touristic sights. The apartment was clean and the kitchen well-equipped. The studio apartments are perfect for a single or a couple traveling. As with many properties in the area there is usually nobody on site, so it takes some scheduling to do the check-in procedure.

Good location and views from the terrace

We stayed two nights. The frist night was fine - although the absence of any staff except for 5-7PM makes it difficult. We had no clean towels the second night and our power went out in the evening and we were in the dark until we checked out. There was nobody there or responding Very inconvenient and unnecessary. Also - very noisy at night.

This location is excellent. Next door to the Medici Chapel and a block from the Duomo. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The hotel is fair to moderate. The hotel is old, rundown, had a bad aroma and was not indicative of the photos. Check-in is very inconvenient, while the listing states available from 3pm, no one was present until 5pm then left by 7pm. I recommend only if you plan on spending time outside the room or if on a tight budget.

Location is very central to everything touristy: right next to the Basilica S Lorenzo (literally across the street), the leather market (during the day, the front door is hidden by the leather vendors stalls), and maybe a 10 min walk from the Duomo and 15 min from the Uffizi. About a 10 min walk from the train station, with luggage. We stayed in Monnalisa. Roomy, quaint, comfortable. Bathroom was ok and kitchen too (didnt really use kitchen). Our only challenge was the check-in. I didnt read the fine print that said check-in from 5-7pm in one document, and after 3pm in another. We were there at 2:30 and nobody answered the door. And we had tickets for a guided tour at the Uffizi at 3:00. Luckily, one of the other residents in the building arrived and let us in, and directed us to the reception desk. We left our luggage, with a note. The owner then contacted us later that afternoon and we managed to check in that evening. If you think you will be arriving outside the posted times, I suggest you contact the owner and make arrangements first. Overall good place, reasonable cost and good location. Would stay again.

We stayed here for four nights in March in the Monnalisa apartment. We loved the location as it was less than 5 minutes walk to the Duomo and the train station. We were glad the building had a working lift after walking all day in Florence.
The apartment was a nice size with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the Medici Chapel. The weather was a bit cold in the evenings so we were glad that the apartment had heating. The shower was nice with two different heads. One of the shower heads didn't quite stay in the holder.
There is a supermarket really close by so we were able to pick up food for some meals. The San Lorenzo market is seconds away where you can pick up some delicious food. There is a street market directly outside by the bottom entrance if you want to pick up any gifts.
We would happily recommend it.

The apartment was very nice and had plenty of space for our group of five, and we especially appreciated that it had a kitchen where we were able to make ourselves dinner one night!
The rooftop terrace is absolutely beautiful and had an amazing view, and was an especially great place to relax after a long day of touring museums.
Overall a great stay- would definitely stay here again!
