As part of the original 1800's Tillinghast property in La Conner, this just-completed upstairs, two-master bedroom, two bath luxury apartment is being offered for vacation rental. Everything is brand new with the interior having been removed to the studs and remade as a high-end apartment with many upscale special features.
The kitchen features all Stainless Steel upscale appliances and quartz counter tops. One master bathroom includes tile floor, quartz vanity top, and separate soaking tub and ceramic tiled shower. The second ensuite bathroom provides tile floor, quartz countertop vanity and a tiled stall shower. This apartment has high vaulted ceilings with up and down lighting throughout. The floors are covered with luxury carpet, and the interior colors add to an overall feeling of luxury and good taste.
The two Master bedrooms feature beautiful king beds with extraordinary Simmons Beautyrest "Heavenly" mattresses, as seen in the highest-end hotels. Fine linens and towels are provided to match.
To complete the luxury feel, this apartment is fully air conditioned and all walls and windows are insulated for interior quiet. All windows have shades and the bedrooms have blackout curtains for your pleasure and privacy. The Ultra HD smart 55" television will keep you entertained at night. The property is located next to a wonderful restaurant, close to a market and many exciting restaurants and shops within walking distance. The apartment is roomy and nicely furnished with most amenities provided. The road noise comes through somewhat, but otherwise very comfortable stay.

We spent Thanksgiving in La Connor, gathering there with our WWU student instead of driving back and forth. (There were only 4 of us.) The beds were soft and cozy. It is up a flight of stairs to the upstairs apartment. It was a little cold, so we used the supplied heaters.
While all new, the appliances gave us the most trouble. The fridge was small, the dishwasher never quite cleaned all the dishes, and the stove has something wrong with the burners. (Its one of those flat stoves.) Its a good thing we cooked most of the food before we came and weren't in a rush as we could never get the largest burner to work properly and the smaller burners took forever. The oven worked fine though. If you aren't planning on cooking much there (there are lots of cafes and restaurants in La Conner - all within walking distance), this is the place for you.
We may come back again, with less food, and more time to enjoy the area.

This was a great vacation for us after moving from AZ. We just needed a very comfortable and updated place to enjoy without driving. Everything was with in walking distance from our large spacious unit. The management and owners were outstanding and extremely accommodating to us. We thank them so much. Highly recommend this place to stay and relax with all the updated amenities.

Very easy to find and park. It's not on the waterfront, but you're not far from all the restaurants and shops in La Conner. It's a very quiet neighborhood. There are plenty of coffee shops and a small market close by. Everything is walking distance. You are right next to a delicious Mexican restaurant, COA, too. Amenities are modern, updated and very clean. We had an issue with trash bags, but it was resolved quickly. I would stay again when I visit family in Mt. Vernon.

This is our first time at this VRBO. I think we have found our new home away from home! It was very clean and quiet. The location is perfect for shopping. With COA moving in next door, we were just steps away from our favorite Mexican restaurant!

No need to say anything about La Conner itself (it's amazing, if you haven't been) and this place is a very short walk to EVERYTHING (it's a very small town) and with a dedicated parking space you don't have to worry even on a crowded weekend where you'll park.
I've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, all over the US, and none of them have been this nice. I'll put it this way - you can always judge a rental by the quality of the towels and the toilet paper, and both were way above what you normally find, as was every single other detail, small and large. For example, the floors don't creak, I mean they are SILENT and it's a 2nd floor apartment, I honestly don't know how they did it but hats off to the architect and remodel crew, whoever they were. The beds were extremely comfortable, and this is from someone with back problems whose regular mattress is one of those $5k self-cooling space foam things.
Bottom line - if this place is available, just take it. It's not possible to regret it, unless you can't do stairs (2nd floor, no elevator)

The apartment was the perfect layout for two couples. The place was clean and the beds were very comfortable. La Conner is a fun place to visit. However, given the price we paid, we expected more.
There was no outside space, no barbeque, and no view (except of the road and parking lot). The noise transfer from the business below and the other units was noticeable. The coffee mugs were chipped, a rung was broken off of one chair and the coffee maker choice was terrible. Once we figured out how to use the television, the reception was terrible and kept freezing and dropping.

We were extremely happy staying here. It was immaculately clean and super comfortable. The management responded to questions almost instantly and we were even given a call to let us know we could check in early. It was extremely easy to check in and out and they had everything we could possibly have needed. For us, it was perfect.
It's within walking distance of everything so we didn't have to try to find parking (which can be a challenge). We would highly recommend staying here and if we go back we will definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased with the quality of everything - comfortable beds, very clean, kitchen well stocked with everything we needed.
Only downside was that one bedroom faced a busy street but in LaConner it was a real problem at night.

Beautiful, clean condo
Beautiful condo. Mattresses and pillows were wonderful. Good location for walking into town and visiting relatives nearby. Some road noise in the front bedroom but nothing that kept us awake. Probably the best communication from property managers of any VRBO we’ve stayed in. Need to be able to handle a flight of stairs. This is an upstairs unit.

Perfect weekend getaway!
An amazing location for an easy spring weekend getaway to experience the tulips and charm of La Conner! My husband and our toddler and I were extremely comfortable in the Tillinghast Residence. Everything was clean and well-appointed and we loved being able to walk to coffee and breakfast in the morning. We weren't expecting it, but the provided pack n play is a bonus for families. We'd gladly return!

A total package everything you need in a condo much larger than the pictures show both bedrooms were perfect. Kitchen was well equipped top notch appliances enjoyed cooking dinners. Close walk to downtown and shopping.
Only negative was the tall stairs and no quiet outside area and daytime street noise.

A great stay!
The property was nearly perfect. The location, parking, check-in/out, cleanliness, furnishings, etc. were all very nice. If I had to find something to comment on (though it is hard to!), it would be that there is some noise from the street, in the bedrooms. But it didn't bother me at all. We didn't need to drive at all for the weekend and they thought of everything in the apartment (tv had all the right apps, usb supported outlets, kitchen accessories, etc.). Would go back!
