I would recommend for a weeks stay. We didn’t find it large enough for a longer stay.

Good for Barbados

Loved the two little dogs who came and visited everyday and all the other wildlife. The proximity to Quantum gym, literally 5 min walk down the road pretty much had it to ourselves. The path by side of villas which made an easy walking loop down to beach. The staff were lovely.

Wi-Fi router right at head of bed js a bit worrying. I don’t think the price point is appropriate but it is slim pickings in Barbados.

Amazing villa’s in Barbados - we had the best stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at West Rock Villas! The location is perfect, literally a 2 minute drive to the nearest beach (you can also walk there easily) and surrounded by amazing bays and restaurants. The Villas are so clean and private. Couldn’t fault them. They feel really luxurious, perfect location, very well equipped, sea views - everything you could want! Paul was fab, always on hand if we had any questions / needed any advice. We were also able to secure late checkout which was super helpful with our flight not being until late afternoon. Highly recommend staying here and we for sure will be back!!! Thanks so much Paul.

Wonderful holiday on a lovely island

Lovely villas in an excellent location. Paul was always there to help. We hired a car as it makes it much easier to get to the beaches and other locations on the island.

Wonderful stay at West Rock Villas. Beautiful Villas nestled in a wonderful location.

Wonderful location nestled between Sugar Hill and Westmorelands, surrounded by tranquility. Villas had everything we needed including robes, a personal favourite. Our host Paul was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We loved being surrounded by nature and were thrilled to be visited by the local monkeys. I would recommend a car and would certainly recommend a visit to The Deck at Sugar Hill next door, a short 8-10 walk. The pool area was well maintained and never busy although most of the Villas were occupied. A truly relaxing stay and would love to stay again. Highly recommend. Check out their website. Fabulous stay at West Rock, beautiful accommodation and great Paul the owner was a great host.

Loved loved ‘West Rock Villas’! …We have been visiting Barbados for over 30 years and up to now have always stayed in hotels but this year we decided to be alittle more adventurous staying self catering at the ‘West Rock Villas’ there are 6 properties at the moment, 4 one bedroom and 2 two bedroom villas of traditional Barbadian ‘Chattel’ house design these villas are very unique in design both on the exterior and interior having a great location on the area of ‘Westmoreland’, immediately adjacent to the ‘Sugar Hill’ resort which has a great restaurant ‘The Deck’ only a 10 minute walk uphill from the villas, we had brunch on the Saturday served 11-4pm it was delicious and the service was excellent with great views, they have happy hour most evenings too. Before booking West Rock Villas I did my research and read all the reviews and the villa certainly lived up to expectations. I had great communications with Brontë the daughter of the owners before our visit, she answered all my questions/concerns in a very informative friendly manner. On arrival we were greeted by the owner/host Paul who showed us into the villa earlier then the normal check-in time which we very much appreciated. Paul was an excellent host, he couldn’t do enough for during our 6 night stay always asking us if everything was okay. Paul gave us lots of tips and advice including the less than 10 minute walk down a track at the side of the villas to the coast road (sensible footwear required and I wouldn’t use this if it was wet or in the dark but we didn’t have a car so was great for us) which we took advantage of most days catching the local yellow buses to Holetown and Speightstown and many lovely beaches including Reid’s/ Gibbs/Thunder Bay/Mullins and Ciccos beach only a 10 minute walk along the coast road from the track. I would also recommend the beach club at Calma beach bar in Holetown. We had the two bedroom Villa (number 4) it had every amenity you could wish for….

Comfortable and clean. If ever to go back to Barbados would book again.

Nice, clean and comfortable. Quiet location and nice pool area. Whilst you can walk to Holetown and the beach, it’s worth getting a car to get around.

nice little Villa but not up to expectations

Our Villa had a terrace which was very peaceful with lovely views. We had the swimming pool pretty much to ourselves and Trisha, the local manager,was superb. She looked after us really well, sorting out any issues and making lots of great recommendations.

The villas are decked out completely in IKEA - so fairly flimsy; They are obviously done in the cheapest way possible. For the price, we expected more. They should have up to date information and manuals for appliances. we had a one bedroom Villa and it was smaller than we expected. You can walk down to the main road but it would be advisable to have a car.

Incredible and would absolutely go back.

Welcomed by the owner of the property. He was immediately so kind and helpful. We had a great relationship throughout our stay. The location was great for us as we had a car, the buses only come twice a day so we didn’t use the local bus. The villas view of the sea was beautiful and we made the most of the pool and bbq too. An absolutely amazing stay!

Perfect stay, just wish it could have been longer!

We had an amazing stay at West Rock Villas! The villa was perfect, had everything we needed (including a cot for our baby), and was modern, clean, and very comfortable. Michelle who met us at the property to hand over keys and show us around was extremely helpful during our entire stay, and if we ever needed anything she was always available to help. The location is also great, being far enough away from any busy resorts so that's it very peaceful and quiet, but also only a short walk or drive to some amazing beaches and restaurants/beach bars. We've already booked again for next year, West Rock is perfect!

Wonderful Relaxing Stay.

We were met at the property and shown round - it really is a stunning villa - beautiful sea views & very well equipped kitchen area. Comfy beds and decorated in a fab beach theme. The pool is so inviting we used it a lot with plenty of sun loungers. Michelle who oversees property is very helpful with lots of useful tips and information. All in all a wonderful stay.

Nothing. On reading reviews most people hire cars during stay but we used local taxis and must say they were very prompt and reliable.

We had a wonderful stay despite the wind and rain!

Lovely villa in a very good position for all the west coast. Beautiful views, and the villa was comfortable. The amenities were great, and the pool and garden very well maintained. We often had the pool to ourselves and the sun beds were very comfortable. The staff were fantastic, the cleaners excellent and Michelle the manager was extremely obliging and helpful. She got us some groceries in before hand and you can WhatsApp her anytime for information, she always got back to us very quickly. We cooked evening meals 5 times and the kitchen facilities were good.

We had the 2 bedroom villa for 2 of us. I think that 4 people would have been a squash, as there was only a 2 seater sofa in the living area. We had some bad weather and had to stay inside, so that would have been a problem for 4. The only other oversight was that there were no manuals for the ovens etc, so we had to google them all.

Everything was simply fantastic....

Michelle and her team were incredibly welcoming and very easy to communicate with throughout. The TV wasn't working for 1 reason or another, they were quick to rectify and provided a complimentary dinner and bottle of wine to apologise. We were very thankful as we really didn't expect that, but they went 1 step further in providing a late afternoon check out as we had an evening flight back to London. I couldn't recommend Michelle and her team highly enough. If/When we're back in Barbados, we'll be staying at West Rock Villas. Simply awesome.

A lovely calm place to relax .

I liked the interior and the view of the place as well as the calmness .It was very chilled and relaxing .

It’s a little remote so you need to walk some distance or use a car .The internet didn’t work but I moved very quickly to another building .it would have been better to have air con in the lounge but a part from this is was perfect for me and I would have liked to have stayed longer .

Perfect stay once again

This is the second time I’ve stayed at West Rock and they are really excellent. The villas are always spotless clean, very modern and great location with a very short walk to the beach. The communication and support from the West Rock team is also excellent.
