Looked good on the website but was even better in reality

Lovely location, apartment in Georgian town house. Much larger than expected, well equipped and very comfortable.

Perhaps the chairs in dining room need a professional clean or re-upholstering.

overall a lovely property and very nice location, the points above can hopefully be resolved to make peoples stays more

very spacious, clean and good facilities

the sofa bed was not suitable for 2 people with a dip in the middle of it, one of the group had to sleep on the sofa which wasn’t ideal. The TV’s aerial did not work so we couldn’t use it. it would have been good to have the hot water on for the duration of our stay, we had to turn it on at times and then wait for it to warm up before being able to shower and get on with our day. Lighting on mirrors could be improved.

Very good

The apartment was easy to find, clean and well stocked. Our hosts were very responsive when we had to contact them. The apartment was well situated on a hill with a beautiful uninhibited view of Arthur's Seat just a 2 minute walk down the road and a 15-20 minute walk to the Royal Mile.

The sofa bed was a little small but we made it work.

Boiler was broken so no heating or hot water. Altido didn't couldn't fix it or find me and my family an alternative accommodation. Had to find something myself and didn't get a full refund from Altido. AVOID!

The apartment was very big and clean

One of the mornings the hot water ran out, there were no instructions on how to turn it back on, we waited around for 2 hours and the water was stiil frozen, when we rang the phone line they werent much help and i had to follow up in messages. Eventually they sent a handy man, but it took far to long to resolve the issue

Edinburgh stay

Great location very comfortable apartment. Will definitely go back despite the couple of niggles.

The piles of rubbish bags at the front door which we raided by an animal on more than 1 occasion and we had to clear it up. Washing machine full of wet/dirty washing with a pile of pillow cases in front meant we didn't use washing machine.

Beautiful Edinburgh Town Centre Garden Flat

Extremely spacious, beautifully decorated, all the amenities one requires for a short stay, amazingly comfortable beds (& living space) and fantastic location (20 minute stroll to town centre). Have already passed the details to a neighbour and will definitely stay there again the next time we visit.

I'm not familiar with the Nest heating system and found it a little difficult to regulate the temperature especially during the night. This is more a comment on my capability than the system itself.

Comfortable apartment, great location

That said the apartment in general was great, the beds were amazing and on a whole very cosy comfortable accommodation. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you need for home from home. The apartment location was ideal for us to explore Edinburgh overall we had a great New Year and the above minor aspects can be easily rectified.

The apartment in general could just do with a little TLC, there were a couple of light bulbs not working, ensuite toilet seat was loose and the sink did not empty very well. The beds and towels etc were clean however the floors had not been mopped there were spill marks on living room floor and could do with a good sweep/vacuum throughout, we moved the bed setee in the living room and it was filthy underneath. There were cobwebs on ceiling, generally just needs a good spring clean.
