This 4 star chalet is a real find for a family or two couples wanting their own tranquil space not too far from all the action.

Sleeping four people, it’s rare to find such a delightful private property for a small party. The location is perfect too - right opposite the Nant-Bossonet button lift yet on a quiet road, just a few minutes walk from the popular village of La Clusaz, where you’ll find a great choice of restaurants, bars and shops.

Le Petit Mazot means the little shed, and although that is how this chalet started its life, it has now been transformed into a warm and welcoming home which makes an ideal base for a holiday in the beautiful Aravis mountains.

The modern kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, with every item you’d expect to find, as well some you wouldn’t, such as a grill stone! There’s a also a separate laundry with a washing machine and tumble-drier.

Outside there’s a delightful shaded seating area, perfect for relaxing on a hot summer night, and a brick-built barbecue.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We accept a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

We enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks at Le Petit Mazot. As avid hikers, it is perfectly situated to explore the area, and it was lovely to return to this cozy chalet at the end of each day. Excellent communication with the owner, and lovely accommodation.

It's located a bit off the main road and typically quiet, except once in early hours when the snow plow came by. The little road up to this house from the main road is private so it isn't plowed very well and you need to have a good 4 wheel drive, or winter tires/chains if snow is on the ground. The house itself is very cosy - wood inside, cute small backyard. We really liked it.

Ludovic le propriétaire s'est montré très arrangeant concernant les horaires d'arrivée et de départ. Le chalet le petit Mazot est très joli, propre et bien équipé. Rien à redire, très bon week-end passé dans la chaîne des Aravis.

Every detail of the chalet design and furnishing has been thought about. We particularly loved the outside sitting areas and the table tennis was great too. The kitchen was well equipped, the large fridge freezer was great. We loved having a chalet to ourselves, for our family of four. It has such a lovely history, is beautifully designed and furnished, and the outside areas are really nicely done. The owner kindly provided linen for the sofabed as the 2nd double would have been a squeeze for our teenagers to share, this worked well and they were both very happy with their rooms. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking there, as well as eating out. The chalet is in such a pretty setting, we could see the cows grazing across on the Bossonet pasture and loved hearing their bells. It's a 10 minute walk into La Clusaz which had lots of activities, restaurants etc. The summer sledge, hiking on the Beauregard and the Reblochon festival were among our holiday highlights.

It has all the modern comfort, is very well equipped and all the basics for cooking are also provided (seasoning, coffee, tea) which is a very nice touch. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is top notch. The place was immaculately clean and finally the location is perfect. I would recommend 100%, thank you!

Le Chalet est magnifique. On s’y sent tout de suite bien. Il est pratique et bien équipé. L’extérieur est un vrai plus (salon de jardin, table, barbecue). L’accueil est très bien organisé et les petites attentions en font un super moment. Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour dans ce cadre magique.

We really loved the chalet and la Clusaz. The chalet was very well equipped and good quality. The living area is a nice size with good views, there are rooms for hanging ski equipment out of the way. The beds are comfy. The chalet is warm. It is about a 15 minute walk to town and 10 mins with all ski equipment to the local ski lift and ski school.

Bon équipement, belle terrasse, bon emplacement. Tout était propre et rangé à notre arrivée. Comme les remontées étaient fermées, nous avons fait de la luge, de la marche, le labyrinthe, les igloos.. avec le soleil toute la semaine !

C'est un petit havre de paix, tellement bien situé et superbement équipé. Le chalet était impeccable à notre arrivée. Le contact avec le propriétaire au top et très réactif. Randonnées, poneys pour le petit aux Confins, luge d'été, toutes les animations prévues par la station nous ont permis de passer une superbe semaine à la montagne.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. Le chalet est très fonctionnel et agréable. Ce serait super s'il était un tout petit peu plus grand. Tout est prévu et Ludovic est très disponible. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les randonnées dans les environs.

The chalet is close to the slopes (3 or 4 minute walk). It's also the perfect size for a small group. Often chalets are too large for 3 people. Only thing missing is an open fire. Ludo is a very friendly owner and responded immediately to any questions we had. La Clusaz is a great ski area and a pretty town.

Le chalet est bien équipé et confortable. Nous avons surtout aimé l'attitude du propriétaire Ludovic qui visiblement veille à la bonne marche des équipements et installations et a à coeur le confort des locataires. Nous recommandons cette location.
