The Garden of the Gods Park & The Garden of the Gods Visitors & Nature Center will lift your spirit. Visit the Garden of the Gods Trading Post at the south edge of the park for the largest gift shop and gallery in the area. The Ghost Town Museum and the Manitou Springs Heritage Center will bring you back 100 years to an 1800’s old west town.

My family and I had a great time and will be back again. Perfect location. Walking distance to historic downtown shopping, eating and parks. Place was a little cramped but nonetheless beautiful. We enjoyed it very much and will be back again.

We decided to stay in Manitou for the local festivities that were taking place around the halloween season. This property was within walking distance to downtown manitou, which was great not to worry about parking. The property was well maintained and the property management company was very responsive to my questions. Five star stay!

I LOVED this property! The neighbors were so welcoming and friendly! Easy to find and get in! Everything was clean and I didn’t run out of anything! There is a hiking trail right up the street, downtown manitou is drivable and walking distance! Seriously made me want to move! I didn’t need to reach out to host bc everything so was stocked and great! Hot tub was hot when I got there and clean! I will definitely be back!

Nice place. A little small for a family of 4, but perfectly fine for a few nights. Hot tub was clean and very nice! Nice bathroom, too. Short walk to downtown was a big plus. Megan, who answered our calls quickly, was awesome!!

The water was milky and green and when we turned the jets on the resulting giant amount of bubbles were not typical of hot tubs We are still awaiting a refund.

We chose this property specifically for the hot tub, which was listed as part of the enticing title on VRBO. The apartment was great - clean, cute, and sufficient. But the hot tub was not clean. The water was milky and green and when we turned the jets on the resulting giant amount of bubbles were not typical of hot tubs We are still awaiting a refund.

We tried to reach the hosts several times but received no answer every time we contacted. The hot tub I got charged a cleaning fee to ensure that the hottub would be perfectly clean for our use and the water was green and smell disgusting. Not very happy with this experience since the hottub was part of the reason I booked here.

Had a great stay. One lane road to rental and parking is tight. Bathroom was great recently remodeled. Bedrooms have no closets and were small. Loved the location. Was able to walk to the downtown.

I normally don't post reviews but felt compelled to do so this time. I will start by saying that this was a newly remodeled apartment on the top floor of the house. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were a few glitches initially but the management company was responsive and took care of them quickly and to our satisfaction. The living area was a little awkward (no tables or lamps) and had we not had a netflix account there would have been no TV in the living room. The neighborhood was "interesting" as noted in another review, but within an easy walk to the downtown area.
What we didn't know at the time of booking was that this apartment was located on a narrow dirt (and dirty) lane. To top it off we were there the week it was scheduled to be paved. The city worker, construction workers and a neighbor confirmed that this was planned for a long time and everyone owning property on this lane was well aware of the scope and time frame of this project. We arrived on a Sunday evening and woke up Monday morning to bulldozer/front loader/dump trucks etc. in the lane and were told the lane was going to be closed and we should move our cars out or they would be inaccessible. We contacted the management company and they had not been notified by the owner and knew nothing of this. This made our stay very difficult. We had to slog through ankle deep dirt and clouds of dirt powder, around heavy equipment and work crews to get to and from the apartment. Our cars were parked a couple of blocks away and all our suitcases, packages, coolers, etc. had to be carried through this. The owner should NOT have rented this property during this construction, or at the VERY least, notified us and allowed us to make an informed decision about whether to rent. We asked to management company to notify him of the situation. We still have heard nothing from him. Be aware.

We enjoyed our time in the area. There is so much to do. We needed more time. We love the outdoors, and this was our focus.
The home is in a great location for walking to the shops in Manitou Springs. It was a quick drive to all the things we wanted to do in Colorado Springs.
House was clean and the furnishings were very nice. Kitchen had toaster and coffee pot to meet our needs. TV for relaxing in the evenings. Towels and bedding were very nice. There were even toothbrushes and makeup wipes in the event we needed them. There were shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided in the shower for those that may need them. Home decor and furnishings were clean and very nice.
When we arrived the house had a musty, almost like a cat box odor. We thought maybe it was the drains and ran water to try to clear the smell. It cleared slightly. When we came back the second day, same odor. Never did figure out what was causing the odor.
No one can control the weather. It was HOT while we were there. When we checked in the home thermostat read 86! We used the window air conditioning unit and fans provided to get it to 76 in the main room. Our son couldn’t sleep in the second bedroom due to the extreme heat. The windows in that room had no screens so we did not open them. We would suggest a second window unit in the second bedroom for comfortable sleep. The fans provided did little to help decrease the temperature in the home.
We also could not find the remote for the TV in the second bedroom during our stay. It really did not matter because our son stayed in the main room due to the heat.
The location is good, but I would not stay here again on a summer visit due to the odor and home temperatures.

We were excited about our stay from reviews and photos, but we were surprised at the area/neighborhood. Additionally, the floors were very dirty. Everyone’s feet turned black immediately upon going barefoot. Cleaning crew was rushed due to a problem in another unit, so maybe that explains the floor. If you aren’t concerned with a slightly unusual narrow street with unique neighbors, this is your spot. Price was amazing, and overall it was a great unit. However, expect a very narrow street/alley and some unique neighbors.

This is a newly renovated property close to downtown. Ideal for walking! It was cute and perfect for friends for up to two couples. We used this property for family vacation overflow and it was perfect for our adult grandchildren. Good communication and responsiveness from hosts during stay.
