Very loud on a Saturday early evening. Clean, well equipped.

Great central location for walking, visiting restaurants. Clean apartment

As suggested in the description It wasn’t the bars below that the noise came from it was the one across the street. The noise from the bar across the street started at 18:30 and went on late in to the evening. The little ear defenders didn’t cut out any noise. My anxiety was so high in the apartment I had to move to somewhere else. If you’re wanting to go and relax on a Saturday evening, This isn’t the place for you. I’ve stayed in central London and New York and slept better. I emailed for a partial or full refund to cover me moving accommodation. I’ve still not heard back.

Lovely last minute stopover

Perfect spot for a last minute stop over. Lovely bars beneath. Great communication from the host.

Quite noisy from the road and other appartments, although between 12-6am very quiet, so all very manageable.

Ideally situated in a lively area

Comfortable, if small property, in a great central location for Matlock. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk were a welcome find (and chocolate biscuits in the fridge) Sofa bed was comfortable

The apartment is above a busy pub and across the road from 2 other bars, so outside noise was quite loud on Friday and Saturday night.

Overall a lovely getaway within an ideal location with plenty of options for leisure and dining opportunities.

Location, look and feel of the property, the property was heated adequately on arrival. The tea/coffee and milk provided was very kind and appreciated.

Some of the fixtures and fittings were starting to look a little tired. There was also no fire stick present in the property. And few cobwebs in bedroom with a few hairs in the bottom of the bed found before use. The oven also could do with a deep clean as there was excess grease and fat on all the ovens trays from previous uses.

Cosy, great location

Quirky building. Comfy bed and cosy space. Just what we wanted to spend the night in Matlock.

Would recommend a chain on the door for a bit more security as only mortice lock which felt a bit exposed.

Great little apartment in an ideal location

Great little apartment with everything needed, ideally located and parking was easy using the permit provided. Although on the road front with some traffic noise, ear plugs were supplied which was a very nice touch so noise didn't bother us. We will certainly be booking again.

Great location but very small and in need of updating

Too small, bathroom needs a deep clean especially the shower, the kitchen floor needs replacing, welcome pack consisted of 2 fake kitkat bars and a single pint of milk…there was tea and coffee but were obviously left there by previous visitors…

Nice flat in a great location.

Location for bars and restaurants is excellent.. apartment had all facilities you would want. Parking permit between 4pm and 11am was very good. Milk, tea, coffee and biscuits was a nice touch. Parking although not completely free was cheap enough and close by.

Road noise was a massive issue even with the provided ear plugs but that has to be considered against the great location. Didn't calm down until early hours and started again early morning. Toilet didn't flush well at all. The hot water was almost scalding hot and needed a caution sticker or turn it down. The double bed my wife enjoyed but I hated. Personal taste but there was far too much movement in the springs and was generally uncomfortable. Those with mobility issues there's a flight of stairs to walk up and down so be aware it's a 1st floor flat. Finally the exterior key press was very awkward to use and needed 3 or 4 goes to get the keys out. Could do with a new or improved one.

the key-safe was a bit awkward I had to fiddle with it a bit to get it to open.

Nice place to lay your head in a nice area.

Location is very good. apartment is clean, water is hot and facilities are excellent.

Key box is not east to use. Quite noisy as there is only single pain of glass and there are a lot of motorcycles in town.

Great night out

Location is right in the centre of town. Plenty of bars restaurants. Shops and cafes and parking on your doorstep.

Noise from traffic on the main road and not double glazed. So no good for a lie in.

Clean. Tidy. Excellent instructions for arrival. Great facilities.

A little noisy, but being on a main road what would you expect. Traffic noise from 05.00 -05.30am. Then very quiet considering till about 06.45am. There were ear plugs available, very considerent I thought.

Very lovely

It was very clean, the host was very helpful and the location was great.

The restaurant downstairs had a huge speaker that vibrated the bedroom. Obviously not the host's fault and they did provide complimentary ear plugs which was great!

Absolutely awesome 👌

I can't say enough about this place, beautiful, host super helpful, and prompt in getting back with any queries, I'm slrwady planning to come back in the summer.

A minor point would've loved a freezer for my ice, apart from that all I needed was provided in the flat.
