The Edge of Innes property is just brilliant. Comfortable for my family in the winter. Beautiful bush surrounds the house and a wraparound deck. Many options to sit and watch/listen to nature.
The beach is just a short walk away. We spent time on the 'viewing deck' watching the winter ocean.
Kangaroos and emus were seen most mornings and nights.
What a wonderful accommodation Brian!

Edge of Innes is in an exceptional location, with views from the living space across the bushland. We had kangaroos coming right up to the deck and a host of birdlife in the surrounding trees. The beautiful Willyama Beach is a short walk away.
The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was quick to respond and all the information on the stay was detailed and accurate.
We would definitely recommend this stay and would love to visit again.

I recently stayed at a charming accommodation that truly exceeded my expectations in many ways. Nestled in a picturesque location, it offers stunning scenery that is nothing short of breathtaking. The surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway, with beautiful landscapes that are ideal for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
The property itself is well-equipped with all the amenities one could need. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living spaces were comfortable and inviting.
However, the only downside was the mattresses. They were not as comfortable as one would hope for a place like this.Upgrading the mattresses would greatly enhance the sleeping experience, ensuring that guests can fully rest and recharge.
Overall, this accommodation offers a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and stunning natural beauty.

We had a getaway at the Edge of Innes. Absolutely loved the location, felt like we were in the middle of the bush. So peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The house had everything we needed, was clean and tidy. The location is perfect, so easy to access the township and also to head into the national park for day trips. We haven't stopped recommending this place to our friends and family since we have been home, we will definitely be back. Just to top it off, on our last day we had a family of 7 emus stroll right by and over into the scrub us as we were sitting on the deck, spectacular.

With the national park & wildlife at your doorstep, plus the beach only a few minutes walk away, Edge of Innes is an excellent base to explore from & the perfect place to relax, unwind & recharge. The accommodation is well set out, having everything required for a comfortable stay. The views of nature from every window were amazing and it was so very peaceful and quiet. Sitting out on the decking watching the many different species of birds enjoying the bird bath was a highlight. Also, the short trek (20 minutes) to Jolly beach was well worth it. We loved our time here & highly recommend Edge of Innes to everyone.

We had wonderful three days. Sitting on the deck at sunset watching the emu’s and kangaroos grazed in front of us was fantastic. A short stroll to the beach and National park, you couldn’t get a nicer place to stay. We will definitely be back.

We loved:
the location - easy access to Innes national park by foot and car
the house garden- sympathetic indigenous plantings which seemed to flow into the national park next door
the surround verandas and large deck - always a comfy place to sit. Great for stargazing at night
the passing wildlife - emus, kangaroos and plentiful birds
the comforts of the house - all we needed was there. The information provided by the host was very accurate.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to return with like minded friends in the future. Innes has captured our hearts.

A beautiful property with easy access to local beach. Kangaroos and Emus visible from the back deck. Great place to stay to explore Innes NP. We enjoyed our trip!

The Edge of Innes was a great place to spend some time re-connecting with nature - lots of wonderful wildlife (mother kangaroos with joeys and emus and their flocks of chicks right in the backyard). Close to a great beach and a couple of easy walks from the property and the Innes national park on your doorstep. You really felt as if you have no neighbours most of the time. The property is as advertised - so don't forget to bring every little thing you might need in the way of supplies - even salt, pepper, kitchen paper towel and extra toilet paper (one roll for two people for a week seems a big stingy!). But if you want a quiet time away from it all this is definitely the place the be!
