Perfect B&B in a perfect location with Perfect Hosts( including Toby )

We were invited to a Wedding that was being held at Gite La Colombiere and we need to stay close by, I did a bit of research and came across the Maison Belmont in Eymet. I looked at the reviews and the photographs and to me, I knew this was the perfect place for us to stay. On arrival, we were greeted by the very friendly Mark and his Labrador Toby , we were shown to our beautiful room overlooking the garden, hence the name of our room was “Jardin” the room was very spacious with a large really comfortable bed , lovely bathroom with walk in shower, complimentary tea and coffee facilities with coffee machine, kettle, fridge with fresh milk in. There are USB points to charge you phones and plenty of power points , electronic blackout blinds which we absolutely loved, there was a decent hairdryer, beach towels in case you wanted to use their plunge pool, they even had a torch, note pad and pencil, Mark even offers an ironing service . We were given our keys and Mark basically said to make ourselves at home and that is exactly what we did and it felt like home as well. We went downstairs and was then greeted by Paul who offered us a lovely cold drink , wine, beer , G&T , we sat in the beautiful garden. Our first day of having breakfast was a wow from the start , Paul is so passionate about baking and the presentation of the food, we have never had breakfasts like it. We were booked for two nights but ended up staying for three nights due to our ferry being cancelled and each day out breakfast was different, we used to get excited about going down for breakfast. Paul had made some fresh soda bread the night before, we had fresh croissants, lovely almond pan au chocolate, French bread, homemade preserves which were absolutely delicious, fresh fruit with granola and yogurt, orange juice , tea and coffee of your choice, the following day there was a cantaloupe melon and fruits , overnight oats amongst all the other selections.

More than we could have ever wished for!!

We had such a wonderful stay here. Our hosts were incredible and paid such attention to detail with really thoughtful touches that made it incredible special: from being offered a drink on arrival in the beautiful garden; a stunning breakfast feast; ironing facilities, and complimentary refreshments. They went far over and above what we could ever have wished for. Our room was immaculate, with the aircon unit and fan a saviour, and the quality and cleanliness of everything was exceptional! Thank you!!

An enchantment in the company of exquisite taste and discretion.

Breakfast was a substantial serving of nourishing tasties with the whole table top covered by everything one could wish for. Paul, whose artistry wrought it all, dropped by, ensuring that we were lacking for nothing. Sunday Special was a ‘frittata’ that made the taste buds swoon. Worth the stay even just for the breakfast.

Perfect, special little gem and left us wanting more!

The personable service from the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and at home. The decor or Masion Belmont is creative and homely too. Mark and Paul would go above and beyond for the people staying with them, we felt that nothing was too much trouble. Paul made the most incredible breakfasts for all daily - fresh fruit and many homemade delights. It is a huge testimony to the stay that my husband and I were planning when we could visit again all the way home.

We were extremely happy with Eymet and Maison Belmont.

The breakfast was delicious and the presentation was a work of art. Both Mark and Paul were perfect hosts and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. Just a short, 5 to 10 minutes walk to the main square where there are a variety of restaurants and small shops.

Taxis could be a problem if you need one. Mark, our host, drives a taxi and is happy to take you as long as he isn’t already booked. Not a big problem but probably best to get that sorted in advance.

Excellent location. Very well appointed.Our room was small but very well designed. There was extra space available to guests including a beautiful cool garden. The hosts are very welcoming, interested in their guests .. nothing was too much trouble (everything had been thought of to make our stay a success). Great breakfasts!

Exceptional

The property is located just 150m from Eymet center. It is very clean and for once someone went for colours. Very colourful and happy, which was underlined by Paul and Mark. Need to mention also the breakfast! Freshly homemade bread and marmalade, fresh food and good coffee.

Don't miss this one!

The hosts go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be, nothing is too much trouble. It's obvious how much they enjoy doing what they are doing. Breakfast was a delight! We were served homemade jams, fresh fruit and even homemade cake on one of the mornings along with the usual choices of cereals, breads, ham and cheese to mention a few. We were spoiled!

Fantastic, unique stay with the most wonderful hosts!

Maison Belmont is a bright, beautifully decorated B and B situated in a perfect location in Eymet. The room was spacious, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the breakfasts were impeccable. The hosts, Mark and Paul, were just amazing and ensured that every element of our stay was perfect - highly recommend!

So beautiful!

We loved Maison Belmont. The room was very large, and really comfortable, and so lovely. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was divine, with homemade goods every day. We could’ve stayed longer! I would recommend it to anyone, and do hope to return someday.

We don't normally stay in b&b but Maison Belmont is far better than many hotels we have stayed in. Mark, Paul and Toby the dog were very welcoming, the room was superbly decorated, feather pillows (!), guest sitting room, excellent breakfast. Need I say more? We will certainly go back.

Stay here to enjoy Eymet and the surrounding countryside.

The breakfast was excellent and varied, fresh fruit, yogurts, pastries, tea& coffee. Sets you up for the day. The comfort of the bed was wonderful and relaxing. Lovely and quiet. We will stay again in the future.

Big breakfast -small room

The excellent breakfast. The shared lounge. The rather nice view from our bedroom. The luscious garden with space to relax. The interesting suggestions of the local markets and places to visit. Easy free car parking in the street. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

We don’t understand why we were given the smallest room as according to the website it’s for one person or a couple on short stay. We stayed 4 nights in a quiet but tiny room with a smelly bathroom. The picture of the swimming pool does not reflect the size of the above ground pool.

Wonderful experience, best chambre d’hotel ever.

Paul and Mark are the perfect hosts. The atmosphere at Maison Belmont is friendly & welcoming and their flair for colour & Paul’s background music creates a perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Breakfast is a wonderful Treat thanks to Paul’s baking skills & imagination. We will definitely returning in the near future.

Overall a lovely place with lovely hosts.

If ever there were perfect hosts Mark and Paul would be them. That both made you feel very welcome. Location was perfect, a 3 minute walk to the main square. Rooms and ensiute were clean and very comfortable.

A very comfortable B&B. In a good location - close to all the restaurants, etc. Breakfast was exceedingly good value and varied. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly and we would certainly stay again.
