Lovely masserie with beautiful outdoor spaces and a nice pool.
The rooms are also big enough and well decorated.
The host is very nice and welcomed us with some drinks and snacks. Recommend!!
Also loved the dogs!
The road to get there isn’t the best, but it works.
Breakfast is typical italian style, mostly sweet.

Is there a place in Polignano a mare where you can sleep in perfect silence and wake up with chirping birds? Masseria San Martino is embedded in the countryside, 15 minutes drive from Lama monachile. The few rooms are cool and nicely furnished. The chilometro zero breakfast is gorgeous. You can swim in the private pool first thing in the morning or any time during your stay. Tiziana is a very charming landlady and gave us perfect advices on where to go or have dinner. We will get back.

Although my stay at Masseria San Martino was over two months ago – I still remember it vividly. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Tiziana (I hope I'm spelling her name correctly!) and her two wonderful dogs, Jack and Alfredo. We arrived (very) late, but was immediately accommodating – providing us with a tour of the property. Photos do not do it justice. It's a gorgeous, quaint, and comfortable, yet in no way antiquated in feeling. The chapel on site even dates back to the 1600s! The pool and the agriculture at the Masseria were amazing, too.
MAKE A RESERVATION FOR DINNER IN ADVANCE! We didn't, but we were lucky that Tiziana was still able to accommodate us anyway. She cooked us, and several other guests, an extremely generous, delicious (and priced at an absolute bargain!) meal of seafood, pasta, local vegetables, and cheeses. They had to bring out a second table for my partner and I because there was so much food!!
The rooms were sparkling clean and the decorations were simple, tasteful, and minimal. The shower was huge and amazing. The bed was comfortable, and the room overall was larger than we had expected.
This was a perfect experience all around – I cannot recommend this place more highly.
The location was a bit more remote than we had expected (about 20 minute drive to Polignano a Mare or Monopoli if I remember correctly), which can be a tricky drive at night. There's parking on the premises though and you can easily call a cab to take you to town. My partner and I actually regretted taking trips into those cities instead of staying back at the Masseria to relax because the accommodations were so fantastic!!

This place is everything I’ve expected, Quiet and exclusive. I love everything about our stay here. Food was not normally included but the owner Tiziana was very kind enough to cook for us. I celebrated my birthday there and it was just magical, a simple dinner of Tiella Pugliesa in front of the chapel with hanging lights above us.
The pool was of decent size and we have it mostly to ourselves which we really enjoyed.
