In the midst of a paradise like garden, surrounded by lordly cypress, oleander and palm trees, right in the heart of the East Algarve, is „Quinta da Ferradura“, situated. A perfect stay for fun and peaceful spot, in a luxury holiday Villa.
Chief motive for most of the visitors to do a booking and love to return, is: the huge pool (10m x 6m), the wide variety in flora and fauna and last but not least, the very well-groomed appearance of the complete ensemble.
The architecture looks like a horseshoe (Ferradura), huge windows are going to South-East, where just a handful neighbours got their property, these you can see out from the distance. Sitting on one of the terraces or around the pool, all over the spacious areal, the holiday guests will enjoy their lovely privacy.
Hard to believe, on the one hand you are staying at such a contemplative earth on the rural side and on the other hand you can reach the favoured seaside town like Olhão and Fuseta is, in only a 6 km drive, the beaches and numerous shops, restaurants or café-bars.
Everyone to his taste, will find a wonderful spot at Quinta da Ferradura… relaxing under palm trees, on the green lawn, one of these terraces or in the cosy pavilion between cactus and fruit trees.
This property (8.500 m²) is fully fenced. In between maybe a refreshing jump into the superb pool or a little rest in the lounge with air-con (for fee). Several sofas invites for relaxing, TV, fast internet and music for entertainment. A large dining table is perfect for serving your x-course meal or playing games. The fully equipped kitchen offers best condition to prepare such one. Also a mobile char-grill is part of the features.
Passing the „horseshoe vestibule“ with its giant windows, Portuguese „azulejos“ (tiles) and little Algarve photo gallery, you are entering the bedroom wing with 3 double bedrooms with its bathroom and air condition (for fee). Waking up in the master bedroom you almost can jump directly into the pool or gazing at the marvellous bird-of-paradise flowers or bougainvilleas…

The villa is spacious and nicely located. It has a big and well kept garden. The pool is decent but would benefit from some improvement and maintenance to ensure that the water stays cool. Generally a very pleasant holiday that lost a bit of its shine due to the number of rules imposed and coldness of communication of the property manager.

A casa é o jardim

A casa tem um jardim lindíssimo, com um ótimo relvado e muitas flores. A piscina é muito boa também, e com o tempo bom, passa-se o dia nessa área. A churrasqueira é boa, apesar de ficar nos fundos da casa. Entretanto, achamos a casa com pouca estrutura; a cozinha é pequena e pouco equipada. O frigorífico é menor ainda (e fica dentro de uma "caverna"). E por fim, os quartos não têm ar condicionado, o que é lamentável para o verão.

Sehr angenehm hier zu wohnen, Mängel sind nicht erwähnenswert, da sie zu der Region gehören, man kann einfach pur genießen, aber sicher nicht für Urlauber „unter fünf Sterne geht nicht“. Gut ausgestattetes Feriendomizil mit einer sehr entspannten Terrasse, Blick auf den Pool und den sehr schönen Garten.

A área da piscina é muito agradável, embora fosse de esperar que a água estivesse mais quente, uma vez que pagámos a taxa pelo respetivo aquecimento. Acidentalmente partimos o bule da máquina de café e embora se trate de um aparelho barato, tivemos que pagar uma nova. Embora a responsabilidade tenha sido nossa, parece-nos que quando se paga quase €2000 por uma semana de estadia, poderiam ser mais tolerantes com um pequeno acidente.

Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Urlaub an der Algarve. Das Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Auf den Sonnenliegen oder der Lounge konnte man es sich gemütlich machen. Auch bei der Innenausstattung blieben keine Wünsche offen. Der Pool war natürlich das absolute Highlight. Leider hatten wir viele Mücken (Jahreszeit?!), was das Durchschlafen erschwert hat. Insgesamt aber ein toller Aufenthalt.

Great pool, lovely house

Great pool, lovely house

The pool was the main attraction for us and our two boys (aged 9 & 11). It was a great size, nice temperature (even on the 1 cloudy morning) and very clean. The house had 3 very spacious bedrooms, 2 good showers plus the bathroom, and a nice living area. Plenty of room for the 4 of us to strecth out and relax when either too hot outside or at night. The kitchen was small but fine for us although if there were 6 adults staying who liked to cook it may be a bit tight. The kitchen was well stocked with utilities. The covered seating area outside was very well used and ideal for a post lunch or swim relaxation. The gardens are huge although we spent most of the time around the pool or the 2 good sized grass areas beside it. You definitely need a car as there is nothing within walking distance but the supermarkets were not too far away. Access to the local beaches means getting on a ferry unless you want to drive a bit further. The only improvements to the house could be air con in the bedrooms for high summer (although there were fans) and the boys not surprisingly wanted boosted Wi-Fi so it was available throughout the property. Overall we really enjoyed this house and it was ideal for the relaxing holiday we were looking for.

Die Highlights sind sicher der grosse und gepflegte Garten, der geheizte Pool und die zuvorkommende Verwaltung durch H. Röver. Wir haben die 10 Tage auf der Quinta sehr genossen. Da schaut man auch mal über die eine oder andere fehlende Fuge oder das nicht ganz stilsichere Interieur hinweg. Die Quinta ist als ganzes ein wunderbares Objekt und empfehlenswert!

Close to local towns and the coast the villa is in a perfect peaceful location, surrounded by nature and loveliness. Well manicured gardens, orange and lemon trees and a large pool provide for a very enjoyable holiday away from the crowds and noise. The villa provides for everything and Heidi and Jens give excellent service. Fantastic holiday.

Wir waren mit der Familie (4Personen) da und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und an den kühlen Abenden war der Kamin ein Genuss. Das Grundstück ist gigantisch groß und rings ums Haus ein Idyll.

Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement pas Heidi La maison était grande et très bien agencée La piscine très grande nous a permi de faire des longueurs Une mention spéciale au jardin, magnifiquement entretenu ! Seul petit bemol, nous avons eu un peu froid les 3 premières soirées et avions mis les radiateurs électriques en marche (la maison est bien munie d’un chauffage central mais pas en marche durant cette période) et nous avons dû ré enclencher le compteur électrique 3 ou 4 fois Mais ce n’etait pas dérangeant, tout était parfait sinon François et Dorothée

Wir, drei befreundete Paare haben unseren Urlaub dieses Jahr in der Villa verbracht. Wir waren total begeistert von dem herrlichen, weitläufigen und sehr gepflegten Garten und von dem schönen großen Pool. Die Villa ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt und sehr sauber. Trotz der ruhigen Lage ist man schnell am Meer und an den schönen Sandstränden. Olhao bietet viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die man innerhalb von 10 Minuten erreicht. Besonders zu empfehlen ist das Restaurant "Antonio" in Moncarapacho. Wir verbrachten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in dieser traumhaften Villa und danken Frau und Herrn Röver für die aufmerksame und gute Betreuung. Die Villa ist absolut empfehlenswert. Immer wieder gerne.

Wir, ein kinderloses Ehepaar in den 60ern, haben 6 Wochen in der Finca verbracht und haben in 15 Jahren kein besseres und schöneres Objekt gehabt. Es ist ein großgemessenes Anwesen mit viel Grün jeglicher Art in ruhiger Lage. Die Entfernung zu den Einkaufs- und Promeniermöglichkeiten in Olhao ist mit knapp 10 Autominuten optimal. Die Finca hat eine geschmackvolle, gepflegte und ausreichende Einrichtung. Eine aufmerksame Betreuung geht auf Wünsche problemlos ein, kleinere Beanstandungen oder Reparaturen wurden unverzüglich bearbeitet. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Dieses Objekt ist absolut empfehlenswert.
