Great location. It was spacious. The gate and extra security made it feel safe. There is no front desk & it's a whole apartment.
Nothing I can think of

Great location and comfortable room. Felt safe. Nice to have the full kitchen available. Mark Spencer Hotel staff were very welcoming at check-in.
Elevator was somewhat unreliable

Good for the price. Great location. Good service. I would like for an earlier check in time.

Nothing they had no way to check in at eigher address it wasnin horrible area got robbed walking to even try and get in after getting.left by cab. Seriously war. People you cant get in at address and no one answered the buzzer. Turned a fun iidea into a nightmare
No staff. No one answered bells. No access to byulding. Being in bad area and being forced to hang outside trying to gai n access then walk around the block. Getting robbed due to messing around just toying to get anyone associated with the property to do anything. Its not an acrual hotel, like e an apartment building with recessed access, that asks you to walk around a block thats filled with zombie drug users and dealers. After navigating to the other.door AND COMPLETELY DIFFERENT HOTEL you can look forward to nothing that resembles a hotel buisness I or way to check in. They do post instructions next to a urine soaked keypad. Lovely

Location was fantastic, security was great (code to enter, room key to use elevator and open room), good amount of space!
Mattress was very uncomfortable, TV remote didn't work

we liked the view from the window, the availability of the kitchen, the location
the the route from the garage to the Washington plaza and back is through Mark Spencer which is not comfortable. Ventilation is not working in bathroom. Dining table was wobbling

Great staff, nice rooms, stay here frequently
Fine, except for the brown water.

The showerhead was below eye level (I'm 5'8"). I had to use the heat from the bathroom to heat the main room; the heaters beneath the windows were insufficient when it was freezing outside. I didn't know where to put the recyclables since there was only one trash can under the sink. The fitness center was in the basement of another building around the block below reception. There was lots of construction noise during the day and vagrants yelling in the streets at night.

Very comfortable and great location
There was a puddle of water in the bathroom around the toilet when we arrived. Also the faucet in the bathroom, if it was facing towards the hot the water, the water came out orange

The room was decent except for the portable air conditioner that had a hose out the window and was duct taped in place. Pretty tacky. The bed was comfortable.
No one told me ahead of time that check-in was at the Mark Spencer Hotel next door. We had to find out by reading a sign near the gate to the entrance of the "hotel"...which is actually an apartment building with hotel rooms on the top floor.

Front desk agent... Stephen was absolutely nothing short of amazing.
The fridge would bump on the baseboard every time you opened it. You could pull down the blinds fully because the in-window tube for the makeshift ac unit was in the way. The bed was AWFUL. No support and you sank in it... Some may like that but it killed my back. Parking should never cost $25 in an open lot on a sketchy corner.

Good location, roomy, reasonable price, terrific staff.
A/C was so loud I couldn’t sleep. Bathroom was a step above the rest of the suite and this very unsafe. You need a bright yellow strip across it, or better yet, a ramp. I nearly fell.

Was cute bed slid around was very comfy. Enjoyed the courtyard people very nice. The staff were wonderful Daniel an Bryce were very helpful and kind and did their job.
The smell in bathroom was gawd awful. Hair in fridge.

location was nice and centrally located to stuff.
One of the storm windows was broken, which is a safety hazard, squeaky bed, floor need fixed, there were few spots on white sheets.

Nothing.
Office to check in is at the mark spencers hotel, which they dont disclose so spent a good half hour looking around for the office, the office wouldnt answer their phone, finally got the mark spencers number through booking. People traveling with pets, there are way more pet friendly hotels in down town or around down town. This place seems inexpensive at first, I usually book with university place hotel but went with this one because it seemed cheaper and I'm on a tight budget. It was $172 for two nights and I expected to pay the usual $25 per pet fee that every hotel has. BUT they charge you $25 per pet per night !! Every other hotel charges you per stay, this is not budget friendly, I ended up paying $116 for two pets for two nights. The room isnt even nice enough to justify that kind of a fee. The room was freezing, right next to construction so sleeping was very hard. They charge $25 a day for parking and the parking isnt even right next to the hotel so good luck carrying all your luggage up. It's honestly been one of my worst stays in portland. I'd say save your money and get another hotel downtown, there'a plenty more reasonable/ nicer places in downtown to stay at.
