The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast, pool/sauna, gym, and room were fantastic. I really enjoyed staying there. Thank you all!

Çalışanlar iyi niyetli ve çalışkan. Otelin konumu merkezidir.

Not much
Staff rude and not accommodate on checkin. I had left a charger in room. Front desk was no help and referred to go online to resolve it... calling the front desk is the quickest way

Kind staff clean and offered great service with additional complementary items like happy hour and breakfast
No towels at the pool for over an hr after I asked for them. Many people were upset

The location was fantastic and easy to navigate. The breakfast was good, and the room exceeded expectations. Getting two complimentary drinks daily is also nice.
The price of parking in the hotel could have been better. Although there was plenty of street parking and it was free since it was a holiday, $60 is fairly steep for hotel parking.

It was a beautiful hotel and had enough beds for our family of 5! Loved the breakfast each morning. Public transit options were close to the hotel.

The king size bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.
The king size bed was comfortable but the additional bed for my grandson was horrid. Thin mattress and stained blankets. Breakfast was adequate. The dinner from the restaurant was horrible...I could not figure out why it was connected to Hilton, why Hilton would attach its name to this location. The parking was $57 a night and they charged me $135 more to have a sitting room with the cheap couch/hid abed, on top of the already high room rate. (didn't find out about the additional fees until I checked out) There was an adjoining room (locked door between) and the guests next door were up until 2AM laughing... needless to say i had a LOUSEY nights sleep.

The staff was awesome the the building is cool
They let a bunch of high school kids stay there for the weekend and they were extremely loud running up and down the halls til 5 am and it woke up my young son even. I called the desk a few times but the “security guard” was useless and didn’t do anything. Was absolutely infuriating!! Also I got a suit the first night and they put me in a very small room luckily I got refunded for the night cause that first night was garbage all around.

Mattress in the sofa bed was dreadful

Breakfast was amazing ! The pool and hot tub was great
The tub was not draining properly . The restaurant was closed on the Sunday we were there.

The communication about the breakfast, resulted in us showing up 10 min before closing. Staff was friendly but the remainings of the breakfast buffet was not impressive.
Pool area in BAD shape

Very beautiful hotel in Downtown Portland. Clean and secure. Walking distance to waterfront and pioneer place. Loved to pool, hot tub and sauna! Gym was pretty spacious and well maintained equipment. Hot breakfast in the morning with made to order omelets!!!! Evening happy hour reception too! Would definitely stay again.
Our first room had an ant problem. We reported the issue and moved to another room with no issues.

What an excellent time. We appreciated, very much, the beauty, elegance, cleanliness and hospitality of this exquisite hotel. It was exceptional. We also enjoyed the complimentary happy hour, the complimentary breakfast and then Mother’s Cafe/Restaurant, inside of the hotel’s lobby. Then, we enjoyed a walk, in this area around the hotel, which was also very enjoyable. We look forward to returning, as soon as possible!!

The hotel was convenient to the train ($10 taxi fare) but the neighbourhood was, I felt, run down.
It was convenient to Portland's public transport system (Trams, trollies and busses)
The room was much smaller than we expected. The main light switch did not turn on the bedside lamps (the only lights in the room) and the USB ports in the bedside lamps failed to charge the phones. There was no chair in the room.

Very Cool Old-School Hotel with new hotel Amentities. The Beds were Very Comfortable. The evening reception was a nice way to end the day, and the on-site restaurant was quite good. The morning breakfast had lots of good options, and made-to-order omelettes available.
There was nothing I needed changed. We had an excellent, large room with comfortable beds. I would recommend getting a room that is not on the interior if you don't want to have a view of just the other building wings. We had a top floor end unit, so we had a view of the city.

The rooms were clean and comfortable.
I didn’t like that. It cost $60 per day to park because the hotel doesn’t have their own parking.

It was convenient
Hated everything. Smelled moldy and dank, walls paper thin, WiFi and tv reception was bad.
5.0 / 5.0
The hotel was beautiful and immaculate. The staff were all wonderful and very helpful! The included breakfast had made to order omelets and pretty much anything else you could want. The evening reception with two complimentary alcoholic drinks was a fun way to start the evening.
The parking is really the only thing to complain about. You either have to park on the street, which is nearly impossible, or the valet parks your car.

The staff were all very nice and it was clean. We only went to reception once, but it was nice. Breakfast was good with the staff being very efficient. Dinner at Mother's was very good. We chose here because we could return our rental car right across the street. The Embassy is a very nice building, but the surrounding area was pretty disappointing. The homeless were not a problem at all, it's just very dirty. We actually skipped some places because of the trashy places we would need to walk through.
The suite we had was beautiful, but the suite next to us had the TV on 24 hours a day. We stayed 2 nights and were up throughout both nights due to the noise level. I tried turning on the bathroom exhaust fan to drown it out, but there was none. I turned the thermostat up or down just to get the fan to cover the noise a bit. We called the front desk the second night, but it didn't seem to help. Some quiet hours maybe? We were happy to be leaving.

Wonderful old hotel that has been modernized, and a fine job done. Son loved the pool area, and I was impressed m’y the new gym.
The parking is a tad sketchy, and the area is plagued by street disorder currently.

We liked the hotel and the lounge on the 3rd floor for drinks / appetizers and breakfast. The river was very pretty across from the hotel. We walked to Morton’s Steak House for dinner. We walked in the morning time along the river.
I would have liked to see a real gift shop to buy fun Portland stuff and basic essentials. Why? They had a huge convention going on. Missed opportunity to sell additional things to the guests. The trip to Target (a few blocks away) was a bit scary with many homeless people around. There were 3 armed police officers as you entered Target. We were in and out quick!!

Omg... I would not stop bragging about this place. Service was exceptional from the front desk personnel to the pool attendant, who was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was fresh and super tasty. Definitely will come back.
There was an incident with Scott, who is one of the valet parking attendants. He was so rude and at one point mocking me and my daughter, saying horrible remarks, but Joey was absolutely amazing, giving us suggestions for dinner. Thanks, Joey!!

Dolly at the front desk was amazing! We had a problem with our room and she reassigned us to a different room which was wonderful. She took the time to listen to our concerns and she made us feel welcome and comfortable.
Our first room had no air conditioning during a very hot summer day. We were quickly reassigned to a new room.

The breakfast was good and so was the location
I have stayed at many of The Embassy’s before including this one downtown. It was not what it used to be. There is nothing in the rooms to give you information, like pool hours, where things in the hotel are located. We had to keep calling or texting to ask questions that should be available in the rooms. Ours second bed option was a hide a bed with the mattress where the springs were sticking out. For how much we were charged for a room the second need option spoils be comfortable. There was no hospitality or customer service. Everything had to be figured out ourselves and there was never no staff around to help or ask questions. The hot tub was disgusting with chunks of skin and things floating around in it. I was very disappointed and will never stay again

The staff was very kind and very efficient. We also thought the rooms and the beds were very comfortable. Lastly, the breakfast was great. The gentleman that makes the omelets was fun and was very good at his job.
The jacuzzi was out of service and the water in the pool was very cold.

The bed was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good. Location was convenient for walking the city.
The room and the hotel were grungy, the bathroom door wouldn't close. I have been staying there for 15 years when I come to Portland and the prices have doubled . Parking $45 a day. This was my last stay at the Embassy.
